Hi, I’m having trouble with the portfolio section of your theme. When I click on a portfolio item, instead of directing to a new page for that post, it opens in a lightbox. Is there a way to correct this?

Hello, I’ve updated the theme today, and it seems that when I view the site while I am logged in on the back end the WordPress admin toolbar (links to dashboard, edit post, etc) overlaps with the theme’s menu. There is also an additional 32 px white bar on the very top. The issue doesn’t seem to be related with any plugin or css customization in the child theme. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Anyway, there is a CSS conflict between your plugin and WordPress admin bar.
However, my login account is not allowed to access your Plugins screen to find which one is causing the problem.
You will need to deactivate your plugins one by one to find the problematic plugin.
If it still doesn’t work, you may need to allow me to access your Plugins screen.

However, there are 2 options to enable the products review. One is a global setting in WooCommerce -> Settings -> Products -> Reviews. The other is an individual setting under the Product Data -> Advanced tab on the product edit screen. Please ensure that both of them are enabled.
If it still doesn’t work, there may be plugin conflicts on your site. Try to deactivate other plugins to see if it works.

I’m wondering when you will be doing an update of the core theme files to address the Woocommerce template issues, as your current theme version’s files are out of date. I see that others have asked about this in the comments area here a few months ago, too.
There is also a new version of Visual Composer available and most of the other theme authors I work with on Envato have already done several updates of VC since your last update came out in April 2019.
Are you planning to maintain this theme regularly for at least the next 2-3 years? It’s quite lovely.
If not, I’m afraid I’ll have to rebuild with a different theme from another Envato author :/

Which SEO plugin works best with Flora?
I use the One Page Website option and I’m afraid that yoast SEO is not very practical for my case. It is a website of a restaurant and they are not written post, there are only pages that work as sections of the main.
Also, my home page is a video in Slider Revolution … so Yoast Seo sees nothing and tells me that there is no text or image, etc.
Could you indicate some suitable SEO plugin for these cases?

Please don’t worry, that is just a warning message to suggest what you should do. Actually, when you are using a One Page website. Not only home page but all pages will display on the front page. And search engines such as Google will see them all as you can see in the front-end.
You can use Yoast SEO plugin and can ignore the warning message on your home page.
Thanks for your quick response. I know I can ignore those messages, but I prefer that my client does not see traffic lights in red, because I do not understand. I am trying to control the output of the Title and meta description tag from the header.php file. I prefer that this information is global throughout the web.
My problem is that this statement: <? Php global $ wyde_options, $ wyde_page_id, $ wyde_page_header, $ wyde_title_area; ?> build the Title tag by adding page title + symbol (-) + description. If the page is the home, Title – description.
I added: <meta name = “description” content = ”<? Php bloginfo (‘description’);?>” /> in my header.php file.
So I ask for help, if possible, so that the title tag does not add the meta description tag, and incidentally change the hyphen (-) to ( | ).

If you would like to remove the warning message from your home page, you have to add the content (text with image) to the home page too. You may need to move some content from other pages (e.g. About Us) to the home page so that plugin will find some content and won’t show a red traffic light.
Regarding the title and description, if you are using Yoast SEO you don’t need to add the title and description in the header.php file directly but can click on “Edit snippet” under “Snippet Preview” in the SEO tab on the page edit screen.
However, if you would like to change default snippet globally, navigate to SEO -> Search Appearance -> Content Types in WordPress admin menu, edit the SEO title in the Pages section.
Also, you can change the separator (from – to |) under SEO -> Search Appearance -> General in the WordPress admin menu, please check out this link: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/title-separator/

there is a long time ago I didn’t use my website and now, when I try to change something on my Home Page in the back office every thing has changed and I don’t find the WP Bakery editor as I knowed. Now i see only a long code area but I can’t edit whithout knowing html language. I can see WP Bakery under this aera but it is full empty (it says “your page is empty”. Do you know how I can find back my content on the WP Bakery editor and not only the HTML code ? Thanks a lot for your help
Sounds like it is a compatibility issue. The new version of WordPress comes with the new editor. You will need to update the theme and WPBakery Page Builder plugin to make them compatible with the new WordPress. Hello. WooCommerce has done an update today and there are two WooCommerce template files that the theme is overriding that is now outdated and causing error messages.
Those template files are: flora/woocommerce/cart/cart.php & flora-child-theme/woocommerce/emails/customer-completed-order.php
Will you provide updated versions please or advise if there are any customisations in these template files from the original WooCommerce template files?

So just to confirm the template file that I would like some clarity on please is: flora/woocommerce/cart/cart.php
I just don’t want to update that file if there are specific customisations made for it to work with the theme. Will you provide an update or provide the entire code to overwrite?

That is just a warning message, you can use this theme with the latest update of WooCommerce. The template files will be updated in the next update of the theme.

I have created my website and all is great (love the theme by the way). But I need to edit some of my pages on my mobile whilst on the move. I have used the WP Bakery page builder to create my pages.
The problem I’m having is the Wp Bakery plugin seems to have no way of editing a current element such as a Text Box on mobile. On desktop you hover over the text box and click the pencil icon to edit, but on mobile obviously a hover doesn’t work and therefore I cannot access the edit button on the text box.
The only thing I can do is add new elements or as I am swiping down the page if I swipe over a row it starts trying to move and re-position elements.
Is there actually a way to edit the elements on mobile?

I believe that being able to have access to the Frontend Editor allows editing on mobile devices. Frontend Editor in WP Bakery seems to be removed by the theme?

Unfortunately, the Backend Editor of the WPBakery Page Builder doesn’t work on mobile. The page builder includes several tools and options, it’s very difficult to use on mobile. We recommend using the page builder on desktop instead.
However, we will look into this and will make it work in the future.
Regarding the Frontend Editor, it is disabled because this theme comes with custom content elements and features. Some of them might not work properly with the Frontend Editor.
In the past week or so it seems we have ended up with a broken image in our header. I cannot figure out where it came from or why it is there. Can you please look at the top left hand side of our site and let us know where we can fix this issue? Thank you. https://hmadvertising.com

You may need to edit your slider then check the image layers one by one to find it.

Looks like that image came from different domain. If you have changed your website domain, you may need to replace all URLs in in your WordPress database with the new domain to make sure all images and links will work correctly.

This theme doesn’t support the front end editor. Even you enable it, it won’t work with the content elements and the page layout in this theme.

Hi! I have some problems with the theme:
1. I can’t seem to get the light version of the navigation. it always stays black with opacity. I’d love to have a white navigation background and black font.
2. I don’t have a shop, but I don’t see where to remove the item from navigation.
3. The footer won’t display. When I try to cutsomize it, I see that it’s kind of active because the height changes, but all I see is the background of the site
4. Also there seems to be a bug with the “overlap-right” command in custom css in custom heading, because it works perfectly on one element and doesn’t overlap on the other.

1. You can change the background color of the navigation under Theme Options -> Navigation -> Top Navigation -> Header Background. To choose the navigation text color, you will need to edit the page, scroll down to the Flora Options at the bottom of the page edit screen to change the Foreground Style in the Header tab.
2. It’s in Theme Options -> Navigation -> Shopping Cart Icon.
3. There are 2 sections in the footer. One is the Footer Widget Area (you can add/remove the widgets under Appearance -> Widgets). The other is Footer Text, you can edit it under Theme Options -> Footer -> Footer Bottom Bar -> Footer Text.
4. We’re sorry but the “overlap-right” is an extra CSS class for the custom heading to indent the heading text, for instance, “Some Of My Skills” on this page: https://wydethemes.com/flora1/about-me/
You may need to use it under the same circumstances.
