We are using an additional plugin with a custom post type. I want to add this additional custom post type to the search on the main page. Is this possible and where can I do it?

you can do it via a hook. Check out inc/lsvr-knowledge-base/actions.php file on line 151 to see how it was done for the KB post type. Basically you can just copy the whole block, rename the function and change both post_type and label attributes. You should do it via a child theme of course.

there is no dedicated night mode, you will have to create your own dark color scheme. Some serious CSS experience would be needed to do such advanced customization though.

first create a sidebar under Appearance / Customize / Custom Sidebars. Populate it with widgets under Appearance / Widgets. Then set it as a KB sidebar under Appearance / Customize/ Knowledge Base. http://docs.lsvr.sk/lore.wp/#sidebars-widgets

what exactly do you mean by advanced search? If you need anything else compared to what can be seen in the demo in regards to the search functionality, then you will definitely need either a 3rd party plugin or even some code customization.

I updated the theme and WordPress, but I seem to have lost the accordion functionality of the LSVR Knowledge Base widget on my custom sidebar. Prior to the update, it was there and worked exactly like your demo site’s KB sidebar. Any ideas on how to fix this?

make sure that you’ve updated the LSVR Framework plugin to 1.5.1 as well and clear all the cache. It works fine on my end, so 99% it would be a caching issue on your end.

Hi there, I’ve added a media/text block to an article in the database. However, the image isn’t aligned properly. I’d like my image to be vertically aligned to the top of the adjacent text. I’ve tried adding some custom CSS under Advanced in the Block setting, but it’s not taking. Any ideas how to fix?

what exactly do you mean by “make posts like knowledge base”?
You can use sitemap with regular posts. Sitemap element uses standard WordPress menus, so you can put any links in there.

Hi, when I set the visibilty of a knowledge base post to private, the article doesn’t show up in the archive sidebar of the knowledge base. Even if I’m logged in as an administrator. But the site itself exists. Do you have any solution how I can make the article visible in the archive sidebar just for administrators, but not for subscribers?

I am using the LSVR knowledge base widget. With the archive sidebar that you can change in the customizer.
I will have to take a deeper look at it to see what can be done. I will be releasing a new update next week, so keep an eye for a changelog. If there won’t be any mention about it, then I wasn’t able to find a solution and you will have to hire a developer to custom code it for you.

I’ve just setup my first Lore installation and I’ve noticed that in your demo you have a front page named Knowledge Base which is different than the actual Knowledge Base page with all the articles. However, in your demo the page name does not show up in the search filter (“Search in: Everything, Knowledge Base, FAQ, Blog, Pages, Forums”) but it does show up in mine.
How can I make the search filter skip the current page?

i go Settings -> Permalinks -> LSVR Knowledge Base and wanted to remove completely the Archive Slug, Category Slug and Tag Slug. I delete them, press save but they keep coming back. As soon as i change that, i wanted to do the same on LSVR FAQ. I searched the previous comments and read that this is only possible through rewrite rules in the htaccess.
Could you please confirm that this is the case?

It messes SEO. For instance, we have example.com/blog where we have installed your theme. If i click on a link of the knowledge base, the url becomes example.com/blog/knowlegde-base/article which messes a lot the website structure for the search engines. Likewise, if i click on the main page of the blog, where all the posts appear, i have example.com/blog/blog and if i click on a blog post, i go to example.com/blog/post which is not ideal.
If it was only about the blog, it would be easily fixed. Now that there is also the knowledge base and the faq section, the best case scenario would be to have a url structure like example.com/blog (example.com/blog/post), example.com/knowledge-base (example.com/knowledge-base/article) and example.com/faq (example.com/faq/post).
It can be fixed through the htaccess file, as you have pointed, but prior to that we wanted to make sure that it cannot be fixed by just deleted the Permalinks i mentioned before. Please let us know if the LSVR Knowledge Base and LSVR FAQ permalinks can be changed through wordpress.

I understand. Those slugs can be changed (via Settings / Permalinks), but cannot be removed. I mean, this is more about the WordPress itself than it is about the theme. So yes, you will need to do it via htaccess file or some 3rd party plugin.
BTW, it should goes without saying, but just to be sure. You can remove LSVR Knowledge Base and LSVR FAQ plugins to disable that particular functionality altogether. Just in case you want to use only the blog functionality. If you are using the KB and FAQ as well then ignore this comment.

How to add sequence to Categories and also How to add arrange Categories and Articles Sequence

what do you mean by “sequence”? You can change order of categories and articles using the Intuitive Custom Post Order.

We have tried Intuitive Custom Post order Plugin, but it is not helping to arrange category and article together. My job asks to put arrange order of category and article both on TOC. Currently by default it places categories on top and single articles below them in TOC, I want to rank few articles top in TOC and then rank categories. Please help to fix this.
Ok now I understand. However it is not possible to mix categories and arcticles. Categories are always displayed first, before articles. It is not possible to mix it up without some very advanced custom coding.
