Hi I PayPal express is not working on Opencart 3.xx version i have read on some forums about the problem when press confirm its does nothing
is there any way we can fix the problem ?

Hi, if you’re using Paypal you need to switch the checkout to the default one in Journal > Skins > Edit > Checkout > Active Checkout > Default. Paypal doesn’t support custom one-page checkouts anymore but there is the default one as a fallback.

I think there is a bug on infinite scroller. If https is being used (and offcours turned on) infinite scroll works, but if http is entered in the browser url it does not work. Check it.
Hi, make sure all urls are defined in config.php with https:// then setup a http to https redirect on your server and your issue will be solved after.

https://prnt.sc/qsdmfdHi, Opencart doesn’t seem to have such options unfortunately, and product details are pulled from Opencart, we don’t add extra dynamic functionality on the options.

Dear Journal Theme Support!
We currently have Journal Theme 2 installed on our website.
Google seems to have made some changes in 2020, related to breadcrumbs, which will effect SEO if not handled properly very soon.
Would you guys please provide a fix for this issue only (Journal Theme 2), and give us updated files that we can replace?

Brilliant!!! Many thanks for making this fix in 2020. However, as we have modified some of the files in Journal Theme 2, would you guys be able to “point out” only those files, that reflects changes and updates related to breadcrumbs only? As an example, I noticed the file in the folder /system/da_journal2_breadcrumbs_schema_fix.ocmod.xml Are there more files that needs to be replaced, in order to make it work properly?
Yes, upload that file in system folder and then refresh Opencart Modifications.

Unfortunately, the new fix does not fix the problem.
Here is what I did:
1. Uploaded the file da_journal2_breadcrumbs_schema_fix.ocmod.xml to the “system” folder.
2. Refreshed Journal Theme 2 Cache
3. Refreshed other page cache
4. Refreshed vqmod (by enabling and the enabling a mod).
I then used google webmaster tool to validate to changes. The 2359 warning(s) are still there, and the validation test fails:
“The data-vocabulary.org schema has been phased out and is no longer supported by Google. You will need the schema.org types.”
Did I do something wrong, when I used the new fix?

Please read my previous messages. This fix is not working for OpenCart_1.5.x version 2, as there are no .twig files and the .xml file is actually using the following path: <file path=”catalog/view/theme/journal2/template//*.twig”> Would you please clarify?
I’m not able to file a support ticket, because I’m running OpenCart 1.5.6.4 and Journal Theme 2 has reached EOL. I was one of the first buyers for this theme, which actually was sold as LIFETIME license + LIFETIME support. However things changed over time. I don’t see a reason to pay for support, just to get an updated xml file, that actually works for OpenCart 1.5.6.4. Please clarify that the current FIX is working for OpenCart 1.5.6.4 and how that is possible as there are no .twig files??

Yesterday I recieved an update from your support via email. I was told to download a new file and upload it to our server. I followed the instruction, however the issues are still there. I wrote a reply to your support via email and inserted detailed error log for vqmod manager. Can you confirm to have recieved the reply?
Today I have updated VQMOD (2.6.4) to the latest version (2.6.0 Core File). I also enabled a_journal2_breadcrumbs_schema_fix.ocmod.xml and refreshed all caches. Unfortunately, the errors from the new fix are still there. I have sent an email to your support and provided FTP Access Information to our server. Would you please investigate was is causing the issues, since it is clearly not related to the vqmod version?

Hi, those orange labels are not actually product labels, they are the category names in a Categories module, those are styled from that module’s styles in Journal > Styles > Categories > [Active Style] > ...

How to get rid of spam on “ask question” form? When I got to Journal > Modules > Contact Form there is a form to Ask question about each item. I get too many spam messages because it doesnt have CAPTCHA support. How do I captcha to that form??
btw, I do have captcha enabled on entire site which works great. Just not on your module.

I think the click is done on the very edge of the button such that the event propagates to the product underneath. Can you replicate this when tapping the actual button towards the center, not on the very edge?

Hi, 1) Using Mega Menu if there is just 1 category to show, with a lot of submenus. It is possible to “turn it ” to a new column after a “maximum high value” or a “maximum number” of submenus? I need to show it one tab, but it is too high now in 1 column. Thanks
Hi, inside a mega menu you can use the Links Menu module, which has options for multiple column display in the same module.
We have about just completed an hour long tutorial on the Journal header, showing how the menus in Demo 1 where created, should be uploaded to our channel very soon.

But with Links Menu, you can’t reach the result as Flyout Menu: - it is not able to list the Subcategories - it is not dinamic as Flyout (where appear/disappear new/removed cat.s)
So Flyout menu is cool, but needs to be able brake to columns, with “height” or “max. number of menus” parameters.

We looked into this but sadly, there’s isn’t a way to split the Catalog module items with sub-categories into columns, that module can only list each top category in a grid box and some may have more subs than others but can’t break the layout into a masonry type, unfortunately.

We bought support service for few years before. But expired now because we will migrate out to another platform. While, we hope to resolve it until migration was done. See if you can help to get rid of the problem.
Google has removed support for data-vocabulary.org and you will see a warning in Google search console. Currently, this is just a warning.
No new Journal 2 versions will be released, all new development goes into Journal 3, but we will update the latest 2.16.8 release available here: https://www.journal-theme.com/v2/download/

Hi, because that’s how the web works, child elements extend to the parent container bounds. You just have to declare a logo container width, feel free to enlarge that as much as you need. Journal > Header > Your Header > Logo > ....
The overall height is dictated by your header height in Journal > Header > Your Header > General > Height…
