Hey worldwidedesign, Unfortunately, WordPress and Salient both do not offer an element like that by default. You could use the page builder element “WP Custom Menu” in order to display a menu of nav items on any given page, but it won’t be in a dropdown format.

The form styling is controlled by the current theme skin you have active in the Salient options > general settings, but can be further tweaked in the Salient options > form styling tab. You can alter the button coloring by using the following CSS:

1. Salient comes translation ready, but we do not include the admin .pl language files. You can indeed translate if desired and keep that language file in a child theme/in a dir created by a translation plugin . 2. Salient does have a demo importer to provide you access to the demos shown online. Older demos (created over 3 years ago) do not contain a full set of dummy images, and instead, use placeholders in the demo import. This is due to the fact that we used to use stock image websites that do not allow redistribution, but have since switched to unsplash only.

3. You can not set a unique header navigation or footer on a per page basis without some custom modifying or the use of a plugin.

Couldn’t reproduce it, had problems with some other external plugins too but I think I meant only this since nectar is named but yeah therefore redux framework isn’t ready

Thank you for your response. How could I change a button for example if I want to have { border-radius: 12px; text-transform: uppercase; font-size: 12px;} . Some of these rules may need !important, some may not. The problem is that if I’m trying to follow the WPBakery way by adding a modifier class to it, the rules set for that class will be useless. The only thing I can do is to raise the specificity by adding a lot of classes and IDs including my own class and also !important. So what’s the best way to manually customize an element?

Hey picseel, in the case of specifically modifying a button element within the page builder, ensure that you have the “Button styling” set to “default” in the Salient options panel. The other options will apply a border-radius that would require !important to remove: https://ibb.co/2gFg0rQ

The text transform and all other font properties for buttons are handled in the following section: https://ibb.co/PmwF4ff However, by default, the different sizes of buttons will alter the font-size – changing that would require CSS, but it shouldn’t need an !important. Could you kindly share your actual page URL so I can take a look at the setup?

Hey born-design, Those are core aspects that WooCommerce automatically adds to the shop – is there a reason you want to set the custom designed page as the shop archive when you are not looking for any of the aspects associated with it? You could hide those items with CSS though:

Hey hookieoalo, the file that would need to be modded for the javascript event is salient/js/init.js. You can run a search in the file for the comment “Mobile widget filters” to end up at the right location. After the event is changed, CSS would be needed to alter what is displayed

Hey lindsayclineco, The page builder can only be active on one field, and the main field for the portfolio post type is the extra content editor. You would need to activate the option “Full Width Portfolio Item Layout” in the Project Configuration metabox and then create a sidebar structure by using the page builder.
