I’m having some issues changing my previous catalog store to an online store:
1. The permalinks for cart and checkout pages are things like: ?page_id=11
Is it not possible to have them like /cart /checkout etc?
2. Sometimes the checkout page is bringing up a 404 page when I try and access it from an incognito browser?

1. Please change the permalink setting in Settings > Permalink to “post name”.

This is a live site, so will this change all of my links for the rest of my permalinks in current blog, shop pages etc.?
This change will update all links on your website, not just some pages.
I’ve just realised, I did already have permalink settings as ‘Post Name’ and the links work if I type them manually- /checkout /cart/, it’s just the icons and links are set to the page id? See video below:

Hello, Sober is a great theme. My licence is ok but I don’t have access to support any more.
I have a possible issue to report :
Even if I enable the breadcrumbs in YOAST SEO module, woocommerce breadcrumb is not replaced by YOAST Breadcrumb. I had to modify the core of Sober theme for it to display (you will see it if you follow my link, I added a “yoastforced” class on the breadcrumb).
I also have Yoast Wocommerce plugin enabled. Wordpress, Sober and all my extensions are up to date.
Would you check this possible issue please ? I think it’s maybe not related only to my website but may be a problem for every users.
The fix I had to write in the core of Sober :

Thanks for your feedback. It you can see in the code of the theme, this theme does support Yoast SEO’s breadcrumb. It seems you didn’t enable this breadcrumb in Yoast SEO options. Please find and enable it instead of editing the theme’s files.

Hi, is there anything wrong with the theme and current version of Wordpress? Things do not look ok on the checkout pages.
I would like to point out that the account information pages like: control panel, orders, address, account settings, is not working at all. Also the title of the pages have page_title with percent_symbols around it. I really need help with this. I did install the latest theme update. But without any help. Thanks.

Ok. Seems like my support need to be renewed. Sorry I do not want to extend at the moment. I do understand your policy for this though. I will try to fix this myself somehow.
Please navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced and check all endpoints settings for the Account page. It could be the reason of this problem. Otherwise, we have to check the settings to test it.

Hi, thank you! It says edit-address in one of these, but if I navigate to it nothing changes, it only says “From my account, you can view…” and so on..

Hi, apart from the issues with WooCommerce not working as it should, I’ve email you guys about this. Im testing our site in Google Pagespeed Insights and the numbers are catastrophic. We hit like 40 or so, and your own theme we got 29 out of 100… I know it can be many things that gives these numbers. But we really need to fix this somehow.

By default, WooCommerce support the star rating in products page. If you disabled it, please re-enable it in WooCommerce > Settings > Products.
This theme doesn’t support to display stars rating on the shop page. We will add a new option for it in the next update.

At mobile version I applied the CSS code to display the sidebar at the top of the products but I would like to know if you can help me. Can you please provide captcha support? Spam registration is rampant. We’ve tried dozens of catpcha plugins, none work with your theme.. The one you referenced in another conversation https://wordpress.org/plugins/no-captcha-recaptcha-for-woocommerce/screenshots/ doesn’t work either – and it’s not longer supported by the theme authors. We just get errors with no feedback.

Most of captcha plugin can work with the default registration of WooCommerce. You should change the option “Account icon behaviour” to “Open the my account page” in Appearacen > Customize > Header > Header Icons to make it work.
