Additionally, you can turn off the price from the product grid and list styles in Journal > Styles > Product Grid > [Active Style] > Product Details > Price… (same for list style and product page styles).

Hello DigitalAtelier. After reviewing your quality theme I must admit that I am truly impressed. The speed of the demo is amazing even though you pull quite a few products on the main page.
I have a question before I move onto purchase – have you used some third party module to allow the Google WEBP format on your website, or there is some functionality that supports WEBP within the theme out of the box?
I am looking for some speed optimization practices like minifying js/html/php etc. as well as converting when possible all images to WEBP and serving them, however it must fall back to default image format for browsers that are still not keen on supporting the Google format.
Could you also please advise if your theme offers some features about compression besides serving WEBP and if any, would I have to manually tweak them in order to make them work?

Hi, the latest Journal version has WEBP support, but you’ll need some tools like CWEBP installed on your store as well as PHP exec function. We also have html/css/js minifiers.

Hi, There is an issue with php 7.4 and Opencart Twig template engine, please downgrade php to 7.3 and your issue will be solved after. Don’t forget to clear Journal Cache and Opencart template cache from the blue right button in Opencart admin dashboard: http://take.ms/0I6T3 after changing php version. In Journal 3, is it possible to move the location of the product extra button to under the main image or right above the stock/model # info? I’d like to put a pop up on certain product pages using that button but the default location of the extra button is not ideal. Thanks!
Hi, not that directly but you can disable the extra button and just add a normal Button module in any position at the product page via the Journal > Product Extras > Extra Modules.

I’m using Journal 3 theme for my OC (www.pro-detailing.ro). When I access the website for the first time, firstly it shows the old font (for 1 sec) and then it loads the correct font. The version is Journal 3.0.40. Please advise!

Hi, those are based on generic sizes and are triggered when some elements might be close together on mobile.
You can add more spacing between menu items or buttons. But the site is working perfectly fine, all elements are actually clickable so that is just a suggestion.
We will look into this as well in the near future, to add some more spacing between certain links.

If we remove the these modules on product pages and homepage, all is ok for Google.

Yes, the carousel bullets may be too small or to close together.
Again, this is not an error, it’s just a suggestion those might be hard to click on mobile. The bullets aren’t meant to be clicked on, they’re just there to indicate there additional carousel slides.
So all you have to do is go in the carousel style in Journal > Styles > Carousel > [Active Style] > Bullets and make them bigger and/or increase spacing between them.

Hello, My Support has already expired. But I hope you will be able to give a solution for the problem. I have launched the website, everything works fine (mostly).
MY Journal version is: 3.0.33 I know that its not the newest version, but I am afraid to update it since many custom things are done already and don’t want to mess everything up.
1. I have figured it out, that SPECIALS page has no layout settings. I mean, I want to make SPECIALS page to be the same as category pages, add filters, etc, however I cannot do that. Is there any way to change the layout, visibility for mobile users and etc. of SPECIALS page? 2. Regarding to SPECIALS page. If I press to go to page 2, or 3, or 4 and so on. It works ok. If I press to go back from page 4 to page 3 – works fine. If I press to go back from page X (no matter what), BUT to page 1 – I get an error. The error is regarding that “This page is not found”. The URL structure changes if I press to go back to first page. This problem only applies to SPECIAL page.
So in general – how can I change the SPECIALS page, since I cannot found anything related to that page in admin panel (design -> layout) or Journal settings.

Forgot to mention that, somehow “Add to cart” button is missing and text string is somewhere else hanging. Problem is only in catalog menu.

There are more than 1000 products on my site. among these products, there are out of stock products. The products that are out of stock now appear on random pages. I want to move the products that are out of stock to the end of the list.
This is not possible unfortunately, we don’t have options to manipulate the sorting of certain products within a list. Please consult with a developer to see if this may be possible with custom code modifications.

How can I make the page’s Title to align with content in desktop screen when the content has padding? Because the Title’s padding is full width outside the layout’s maximum width area. I have tried many ways but still couldn’t fix it. Have no problem with iPad / iPhone screen, just problem in desktop.
Hi, we’ll have to see a use case for this in order to understand it. But usually the titles are styled in their corresponding styles in Journal > Styles > Title > [Active Style] > ... where there should be margin and padding options.

Hi, unless you plan to own another license to be used on a different domain in the future, go with the $35 support renewal package.
But many people choose another full license which is not much more expensive and provides the same 6 months of support anyway, plus the added benefit of a brand new license (in case you ever plan to create multiple stores).
