Hi
Clear cache maybe?
it works, thanks bro!
and how can i create candidate dashboard and employer dashboard, right now i have only employer dashboard for both
Have you followed http://www.docs.purethemes.net/workscout/knowledge-base/how-to-update-workscout-to-version-2-0/ ?
For support please contact us via Support Tab
yes i follow all the instruction, also job alert bookmarks, manage resumes and manage jobs links doesn not work, they just refresh the page.
Do you have the add-ons for that? Resume Manager etc? Again, if you need help contact us via Support Tab.
yes i have the add on, i spent 125$ for it and 59$ for the theme. It would be nice to know where all the tag candidate_dashboard, employer_dashboard, job_alert and bookmarks go after the 2.0 update since is not mention in the guide you wrote.
never mind, i got it!
It all is automatically added if you set those pages in Job Listings -> Settings -> Pages, and Resumes -> Settings -> Pages. In other words, if WPJM add-ons are set up correctly the WorkScout dashboard will be set correctly
and that’s explained here http://www.docs.purethemes.net/workscout/knowledge-base/how-to-update-workscout-to-version-2-0/ in Setting Up-Dashboard section
Presale question – Is it possible to create automatic alerts for all candidates?
Let’s say there are 5 job categories and each job posted belongs to one or more of them. When candidates register they also get to choose one or more of those same categories (through a custom field or similar, but they must be the same categories as the jobs). This way, when a job is posted in “category_one”, every candidate also registered to “category_one” will automatically receive an email alert saying there’s a new job available.
Is this possible?
Hi
there’s Job Alerts add-on for that https://wpjobmanager.com/add-ons/job-alerts/ but it’s not while user registers, he can create alerts based on search queries
Thank you for your reply. This looks like the setup we have right now but it’s not quite what we are looking for, all we’ve seen are individual job alerts (each user creates their own) and we are looking for an automated job alert for all users. I’ll keep this in mind either way in case we can come up with something. Thanks again!
Hi, I really love the half map layout, but it only shows the jobs visible in the left sidebar.
As I click “show more jobs” they eventually appear, but I would prefer that it simply showed all the jobs on the map right away.
Is there a solution for this?
Url: https://mothertonguejobs.com/browse-jobs-half-map/
Before I click “show more jobs”: https://scontent-lht6-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.15752-9/87018621_419628915500270_3739057412452122624_n.png?_nc_cat=106&_nc_ohc=Jh5Mkl8hexYAX8QwN8J&_nc_ht=scontent-lht6-1.xx&oh=a82c25cd01110a2b2bb89870cb5a7337&oe=5EB7621D After I click “show more jobs” https://scontent-lht6-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.15752-9/86728423_276049103370521_6835867577491652608_n.png?_nc_cat=105&_nc_ohc=p1k3ydZUTW8AX9KrFPJ&_nc_ht=scontent-lht6-1.xx&oh=96615f93ee8f36afb0dd052a4b4c4e43&oe=5EC1909CHi
it should refresh the map after loading more jobs, I’ll check it and get back to you with a fix, thanks for feedback
It does also show more jobs after I have clicked show more jobs, but I don’t really see the point with the map if the map doesn’t show all the jobs I have.
I thought the map would be an easy overview of all the jobs on my site. Now I think when people see the map and they can only see 10 or so jobs there, they will just assume it’s all the jobs I have.
Hi
you can enable in Customize -> Map Options to show All jobs map, that way the map won’t be dynamic but will always show all jobs.
Hi again,
But then the filter function don’t work.
It’s cool that is dynamic, but I’m sure most people would not assume they have to click “show more jobs” for all the jobs to show on the map.
There are two options, either have “dynamic” map that reacts to jobs that are displayed on the page, or to have static map that shows all jobs always.
Is there a fix planned? I must say I’m very disappointed about this. First I pay and wait for several months for the new update to come due to a problem with job tags not showing correctly, so I can launch my site, and now this problem.
The problem with the tags not showing correctly hasn’t been solved 100 % btw. See this screenshot:
https://scontent-lht6-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.15752-9/86728932_2324925534273672_1091292516365369344_n.png?_nc_cat=107&_nc_ohc=EVrGPILdSIIAX-qotqo&_nc_ht=scontent-lht6-1.xx&oh=215aa2342b35cfb7377f9a6c43a725dd&oe=5EBE12ACPlus it zooms way too much on job locations…
https://mothertonguejobs.com/jobs/?search_keywords=&search_location=Kraków%2C+PolandIn fact it zooms so much one the map that it looks like a grey box
And furthermore the search doesn’t work very well either… Here I for instance search for Dublin, but nothing comes up, despite the fact I have plenty of jobs in Dublin:
https://mothertonguejobs.com/jobs/?search_keywords=&search_location=Dublin%2C+IrelandBut I already explained I’ll fix the issue with markers not updating after clicking “load more jobs”, I’ll try to push update today, if not, then tomorrow
for job tags, in your case when you have such long titles and a text below it indeed doesn’t look good, try to add to Additional CSS this
.listing-types-list {
position: static;
right: 0px;
top: 0px;
transform: translateY(0%);
text-align: left;
max-width: 700px;
}
it will move tags below title like this https://www.dropbox.com/s/b5kdo91od3a4lbf/Screenshot%202020-02-17%20at%2011.29.36.png?dl=0
Regarding, map, it adjust itself to show all jobs on map, usually there are not all at exactly same place, in that case you linked you have 10 jobs in the same point. I can add option to limit the maxZoom on the map to avoid that, but it will also apply for whole map
Regarding search results, are you using radius search correctly? Is it properly configured and API key is not restricted for that? (WorkScout Core -> Map Settings)
If you’re still disappointed I can offer you a refund
Hi Again,
Thanks for offering the refund option. I will give it some thought,
In regards to the points on the map, is it correctly understood that there is not going to be a function that shows all the jobs on the map where you can still use the filter function?
To clarify you can use filters but the map won’t reflect this and that’s not going to be changed
Hi
I was just testing it again, and the maps is correctly updated if you load more jobs on latest version 2.0.6, so I’d need to check your site again for that. Please contact me via support tab if possible
Hi. Is there a reason why do we shortly see all job listings on e.g. company page (https://workscout.in/company/Cubico/ ) before the actual loading happens with company filter (via ajax I assume and loader animation)? This also happens on job-region page e.g. https://workscout.in/job-region/los-angeles/ Thanks.
Hi
That’s how it works for those elements because it’s not possible to pre-select them in shortcode so we have to refresh it via ajax on page load
Ok thanks for the answer. However, is there a way to not show all the listings while loading? E.g. even empty div would be ok with the loader.
Unfortunately no
Hi Themeforest,
I seem to have some problems with jobs not appearing on the map. It happens both when I have added an exact address or a city name as location.
- Job Types field on Jobs page is enabled under Job listtings settings.
- Problem both happens with OpenStreetmap and Google Maps
- Enable map on Jobs page is on
I have tried to reinstall both the theme (now it runs 2.0.6, but happened also on the version prior), workscout core (now runs 1.0.6), and WP Job Manager (runs 1.34.1)
Hi
your jobs are not geocoded, they don’t have latitude and longitude data, so there’s nothing to show on map
to have them geocoded you need to have properly configured Google Maps API key, this key can’t be domain restricted, and need to be put in Job Listings -> Settings
Thanks, it worked!
Hi, In Job Listings > Job Fields, the “rate_min” field has a label value of “Minimum rate/h ($)”, but as I need this in £ I have tried editing this to remove the ”$” but it does not allow me to do this after saving. All other fields work as I expect and have changed those, except for this one. Can you replicate this issue or is it a common bug?? As a footnote, I cannot even delete that field, it is as if that field is readonly. I have also re-installed theme numerous times but with the same result.
Please contact us there and verify your purchase https://themeforest.net/item/workscout-job-board-wordpress-theme/13591801/support/contact
Hello,
Presale question please.
I have checked your theme. I like the look it’s like professional. Is it possible to publish the work, somebody to accepted and pay after the job is done and admin can take the percentage? Like a Freelancer, Upwork or Fiverr?
Thank you for your time!
Hi
no, it’s just classic job board theme.
Thank you!
Ive tried editing single.php but the sidebar keeps appearing on the left is this something to do with the, template-parts/content’, ‘single’ as would like the sidebar on right as it was before upgrade regards
greg
Hi
sidebar side for jobs is set in Customize -> Jobs Options – Single Job -> Single Job Layout, it works with left and right
I am not able to click on the menu icon on mobile, the menu doesn’t open on mobile I found some jquery errors on console: jquery.min.js?ver=5.3.2:2 Uncaught TypeError: $(...).superfish is not a function at menumobile (custom.js?ver=1581100080:58) at HTMLDocument.<anonymous> (custom.js?ver=1581100080:83) at e (jquery.min.js?ver=5.3.2:2) at t (jquery.min.js?ver=5.3.2:2)
Can you send me link to your page so I could check it?
Hi
looks like Resume Upload Form plugin you are using on your site is loading it’s own jQuery version, which is very bad practice, and it’s causing conflict with the rest of JS code. It should work after disabling that plugin.
Resume plugin is themes own plugin and I don’t know how to disable that from loading
It’s this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/resume-upload-form/ and it’s not included or recommended in WorkScout. The one we use is https://wpjobmanager.com/document/resume-manager/
I didn’t install resume-upload-form, the theme itself installed it rather than resume-manager
your theme is using chosen jquery rather than simple jquery, is that correct?
Hi
trust me we don’t use and never did use that plugin with WorkScout, and it won’t install it on its own.
You’re theme version is 1.5.1.3 and it uses chosen.js, current latest version of WorkScout is 2.0.4 (and I’m releasing 2.0.5 in a moment) and that uses select2 as it was changed in WP Job Manager – but it’s not the cause of your problem.
If you’d like to update, please first check http://www.docs.purethemes.net/workscout/knowledge-base/how-to-update-workscout-to-version-2-0/
(“Your theme” not “you’re”)
Also search jobs map page is still using google maps even though I set it up to use open maps. regards greg
Yes I found a problem with it, it will be fixed in Mondays update, sorry about that.
Great also there’s an issue with the WPJM widget losing the images the fix appleid on 1.5 does not work on 2.2
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) { body ul.job_listings li.job_listing a img.company_logo, body ul.job_listings li.no_job_listings_found a img.company_logo { visibility: visible; }
One other thing I noticed with the new menu bar the when uploading the logo what ever size or resolution it always looks blurred I tried SVG as well is there reason for this. Thanks again regards greg

Hi after upgrading there is some strange behaviour with the posts page it cannot be altered either through customiser or wordpress place advise regards greg
Single posts page that is
Do you have any child theme active that could overwrite single template?
Will do that thanks
I need to ask a question. I must make a website that is similar to what a job recruitment theme offers but with certain differences.
It is to make calls for fund contests. I need to know if this template can serve me for these purposes.
The user should be able to log in, fill out forms (with specific data for each fund – such as pdf, jpf, descriptions and costs) to which it is submitted and apply for the call.
The jury should have a dashboard to evaluate the candidates and the proposals submitted to each call. Two calls are made in each semester.
It is important that the user can fill out different information, depending on the call to which it is presented.
Can you use this template with the features it offers?
I appreciate response. Regards
Hi
I think it would require a lot of custom modifications to fit your needs.
But is possible? How much could it cost approximately? Regadrs
Technically everything is possible, but I can’t give a quote, we’re not doing customisations like that
Is there a way to change the registration form so that it is only for candidates and doesn’t show the employer tab?
Thanks
It will be on Mondays update, thanks
Theme Pre-sale questions: My apologies in advance for the number of questions.
Please can confirmed of the plugins and cost for each one required to make the theme function like the demo.
1. Does your theme include an admin frontend dashboard for recruiters to manage candidates, employers and companies (edit profile, approve, enable/disable)
2. Does your theme allow candidates and employers to send messages between themselves
2a. Can the admin see the messages sent between the candidate and the employer?
2b. Are notifications sent to the candidate or employers email when an internal message is sent. If not how can this be done?
3. Can we add and remove fields in the apply for job. example we don’t want email addresses to be shared on the form
4. Can we add a custom field that includes logos of software languages, ie a field called Stack?
5. Can we hide fields from the public and from logged in users? example we have the candidates email stored but it is not visible to other users?
6. Can we make the site that you can see the candidates profile in the search but before you see more details you have to register?
7. Can we have all registrations (candidates and employers) require admin approval?
8. Does the system have a skills/job/profile match? for example if a candidate creates a profile and his skills match a JD it automatically recommends jobs based of his/her profile match and vis-versa, if the company uploads a job and it matches the skills of a candidate the system then recommends matched candidates?
9. We do an internal assessment of our candidates. Is it possible for us to upload the assessment score and upload the assessment PDF report for companies to see? basically, we will manually add the assessment score (a percentage e.g The candidates score 80% in PHP assessment) and upload a pdf assessment report for employers to see (this will be on the candidates profile. only the administrator can upload the pdf report. it is used for us to confirm the candidates assessment results.
10. Is it possible to allow the candidate to self evaluate some skills, but we (super admin) decide what is visible to employers?
11. Is the home page customizable so we can change the design completely?
12. Has the theme been fully tested on mobile?
13. Can employers/candidates view applied jobs (candidates) and applicants (employers)?
14. Can candidates and employers set up alerts on candidate/job/company?
15. Can Company have different team members associated with the company account? for example the Head of HR may be a team member, then he can add other team member such as a recruitment manager, a technical lead etc. The y will all be able to see the applied candidates for the company jobs etc..
16. Can companies view invoices for recruitment service. Eg if they fave successfully hired a candidate, an invoice can be sent to them with the recruitment fee (10% of annual salary). And can they pay this online?
17. Can companies manage applications ie, reject, shortlist, hire?
18. Can we charge a company based on hires and not upfront. So if the annual salary is $50,000, we charge a 10% fee which is automatically invoiced to the client and they have to pay through the platform. If possible what payment provider is compatible with your system?
19. Can the user see their recent activity and notifications of job applications or internal messages?
20. Can we prevent CV’s from being uploaded? We only want the candidates profile to be available. We do not want them uploading CV when applying for jobs or updating their profile?
21. Does your theme have a profile completion progress score. e.g. “Your profile is 50% complete, please add an image for 20%” etc..

Yes there is
hello, I want to edit the signup form, it shows a drop down for candidate and employer however I was the option to “select an option” and not default to any of the above
Hi
not sure what version you have now, but it’s not a dropdown anymore https://www.dropbox.com/s/tr01nuu1gpp7aoh/screenshot%202020-02-05%20at%2012.31.30.png?dl=0
Hi, is there a way in the backend of wordpress with your theme without using CSS to change the fonts used in the theme?
Thanks
Hi
There’s simple Typography panel in Customize, and you could use one of many plugins for that also,
Thanks – can you also change things like the header background colour etc? Text Colour in the header etc?
No, that would require CSS changes
So link colours etc have to remain green etc?
There’s a main color picker, so you can change color of all green elements to whatever you need, but there’s no option ot pick a color separately for each element on site. You can use plugins like https://codecanyon.net/item/yellow-pencil-visual-css-style-editor/11322180 for things like that if you don’t want to write your custom CSS
Hi,
Some important pre-sale questions:
1. Where can I see how the admin back end is organized (demo or at least screenshots)? 2. Are all of the job post fields configurable without coding (drag and drop, add/remove fields, order fields, apply formatting)? 3. Are all of the resume post fields configurable without coding (drag and drop, add/remove fields, order fields, apply formatting)? 4. Are the employer profile fields configurable without coding (drag and drop, add/remove fields, order fields, apply formatting)? 5. Are the candidate profile fields configurable without coding (drag and drop, add/remove fields, order fields, apply formatting)? 6. Are the login form fields configurable without coding (drag and drop, add/remove fields, order fields, apply formatting)? 7. Are the register form fields configurable without coding (drag and drop, add/remove fields, order fields, apply formatting)? 8. Is the employer dashboard page configurable without coding (drag and drop, add/remove filters, order filters, apply formatting)? 9. Is the candidate dashboard page configurable without coding (drag and drop, add/remove filters, order filters, apply formatting)? 10. Is the job listing configurable without coding (drag and drop, add/remove filters, order filters, apply formatting)? 11. Is the content of the system emails (templates) configurable without coding (HTML formatting, add/remove fields)? 12. Is the content of the portal notifications (messages) configurable without coding (change content, apply formatting)? 13. What payment gateways are supported by default? 14. Is there any need for extra paid plugins to receive payments?
Best regards,
Hi
ad1. We don’t have admin demo access, this is WP Job Manager based theme.
ad2-10. No, all that would require coding
ad11. Some of them yes, but most require coding or additional plugins
ad12. No
ad13. WooCommerce is used for payments, so all
ad14. Yes, WC Paid Listings add-on.
After updating and following the docs all the new pages are missing css and are squashed to the left hand side please advise.

Hi
can you send a link to your page? Do you have any child theme active with some customizations made?
