is there a way to see and play around with the wordpress backend of the theme before purchasing?

Hey there,

In relation to your question here, We only have a frontend demo and not a backend demo at the moment. If you want to test the plugin used in this theme you can do that here: http://demo.wpjobmanager.com/.

I hope this helps.

Hi there, is facet search available ?

Hey there,

At this time the Jobify theme does not provide support for the FacetWP plugin.

You can read more here: Can I use Facet WP with Jobify?

Hope this helps!

If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!

Hey looking at buying your plugin. Are you able to charge Employers/ Job posters a monthly subscription fee to search for talent and to post jobs and also Job seekers a monthly subscription fee to have their resume online and to search for Jobs?

Hey there,

With respect to your question here, this relates to the Wc Paid Listings plugin of which is a plugin from Wp Job Manager. The plugin however does not have features to charge employers or job seekers for searches. I would however recommend reaching out to the plugins support team here for more details on this.

I hope this helps.

Hi, I bought your theme and I wanted to send you a ticket, but it was not possible. So my question is: how could job posting have the category and also the tag displayed on the job postings header area? At the moment I don’t see the tag displayed at all anywhere. Also I would like the tag to be positioned visible: at the header/title area.

Hey there,

I’m sorry to hear that you are encountering issues with ticket submission.

Hi, I have questions regarding this theme. I’m setting up a graphic designing firm. I have hired some designers. Is it possible to with this theme to have

1) No option for signing up as freelancer 2) Only services listed and clients can purchase those services. 3) Same one to one chats on each order that can be done by admin 4) Order delivery/Modification requested/Complete Status system 5) Order completion and reviews system on the services

Let me know if it is possible to achieve all this with this theme?

Hey there,

With respect to the outlined questions, unfortunately these implementations would not be possible by default using Jobify. It would entail custom work to have them integrated.

Please feel free to reach out once again in case of any questions.

Hi Astoundify,

Great looking theme!

I can’t make the search work though. When I click search nothing happens. The site just refreshes. Any settings I have overlooked?

Pre-Purchase Question: After reading other comments and your replies I’ve realized that you are the same developer for both Jobify and WP Job Manager. However, this theme hasn’t been updated since August of last year and doesn’t make mention of the Alerts plugin for WP Job Manager.

Does Jobify work with Alerts plugin well?

Also is there a way to allow for remote job postings? (i.e. those not requiring a city)

Hey there,

In relation to the outlined questions:

1. Sorry, we do not develop the Wp Job Manager plugin.

2. As for the theme update, we will be updating the theme.

3. Yes the theme is compatible with the Job alerts plugin.

4. Yes you can also create remote job listings. The location field is actually optional.

I hope this information helps. Please feel free to reach out once again in case of any questions.

Oh, it sounded like you were one and the same.

On the remote jobs, we’re hoping to simply show a tag if a job is remote or not on the job listing. Does that happen in your theme / WP Job Manager when a location isn’t entered?

Hey there,

The theme does not provide this feature by default. You can however use the Job Tags plugin to integrate this feature.

I hope this helps. Should you have any questions, please let me know.

Hello,

Presale question please.

I have checked your theme. I like the look it’s like professional. Is it possible to publish the work, somebody to accepted and pay after the job is done and admin can take the percentage? Like a Freelancer, Upwork or Fiverr?

Thank you for your time!

Hey there,

In relation to your question here, unfortunately all these features would not be possible by default. To build something like Upwork or Freelancer, you will need to customize the theme further to get exactly what you are after. These sites have a lot of custom features that you would need to customize.

Long time since the last update… Are you guys still maintaining this theme? Your plugins for this theme on wordpress.org is also very old and outdated. Will you update please?

Any update on this issue please, regarding the now very old core plugins for the Jobify theme? Kind regards

Alright, thank you. That sounds promising and good news then.

Hi, I reported this to WP JM but they’ve referred me to you regarding a php error when clicking Search within the hero section. Doesn’t matter what’s entered in it, even nothing at all, it throws this on the following page and doesn’t show the map, only the jobs below it. Here’s the thread I created with them. It’s apparently since PW 5.3.1 came out that this happens. I had rolled back to 5.3.0 and it wasn’t there.

https://wordpress.org/support/topic/php-error-when-clicking-on-job-search-in-hero/#post-12410848

just noticed this error when clicking within the hero section where the regions/category, etc. are. When I click on search (whether or not anything is in those fields), I get this error and the job list shows below it:

Warning: preg_match() expects parameter 2 to be string, array given in /home/<retracted>/public_html/test/wp-includes/class-wp-block-parser.php on line 417

Warning: strlen() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/<retracted>/public_html/test/wp-includes/class-wp-block-parser.php on line 489

Warning: preg_match() expects parameter 2 to be string, array given in /home/<retracted>/public_html/test/wp-includes/class-wp-block-parser.php on line 417

Warning: strlen() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/<retracted>/public_html/test/wp-includes/class-wp-block-parser.php on line 489

I have suppressed the php error, and oddly it shows the google map above it with the number of jobs in the area. I’m not even sure where it’s grabbing that from. I removed the google maps key but don’t think that matters. I have either rolled back or disabled any recent plugins and that didn’t make a difference. I’m using Jobify theme so not sure if this is you guys or them. Any enlightenment would be appreciated. I’ve googled this error and editing php is beyond me…none of it had anything to do with Jobify or WP Job manager.

In looking at more search results on this, it appears something changed in WordPress 5.3.1. I rolled back to 5.3.0 and the error went away. This was happening on multiple plugins and the plugin authors had to fix it. Would this be the case for you guys or do you think this is a Jobify issue? Thanks!

Is this something you’ll be fixing? Thanks.

Hey there,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

This is actually an issue from the Ninja forms plugin. Please email us at support@ astoundify.com so that we can provide a fix to this.

I look forward to assisting you.

Hi, a couple of questions before purchasing.

1. In the company listing profile, it shows the number and excerpt of “jobs” posted by the company. For companies that post a large number of job vacancies, can we set a functionality where people can view/browse the full list of jobs posted that will take them to the job listing pages? See what I mean via this wordpress theme link: https://apusthemes.com/wp-demo/workup/employer/redesign-co/

2. Does your theme have the functionality to rename the “company”, “job” and “resume” functions. For example, I would like to rename “company” to employer, “resume” to candidates, and “jobs” to careers, and when we do this rename, it would change it for all parts of the wordpress theme.

3. Can all candidate resumes be made private instead of public? And they only share their resume with companies that they apply to.

4. Can you also set that candidate resumes are private but candidate can share their resume to a friend via URL link or via a friend candidate account (and the download resume option is only valid for authorized shares)

5. Can backend wordpress admin edit user resumes and profile details?

6. Does your theme support integration with LearnDash plugin?

7. We want to integrate an e-learning option in this theme via the LearnDash plugin. As part of your “My Account” tabs, can we add/edit a tab to allow display of this LearnDash courses shortcode? https://www.learndash.com/creating-a-learndash-user-profile-page/

Hey there,

In relation to the outlined questions:

1. It’s actually possible to have company pages display jobs associated to the company. Here is a sample form the demo: https://jobify-demos.astoundify.com/classic/company/Disney/

2. Yes the renaming is possible but you would need to alter it in quite a number of areas as some of these names are provided by Wp Job Manager related plugins.

3. It is possible to restrict resumes viewing. Here is an article on how to go about this: https://wpjobmanager.com/document/tutorial-require-an-active-job-package-to-view-resumes/.

4. Unfortunately this feature is not provided by default. It would entail some custom work to have this implemented.

5. Yes this is possible.

6 & 7. Unfortunately there are no official compatibility tests of the theme with that plugin.

Please feel free to reach out once again in case of any questions.

Hi Two day ago,I wrote to Envato requesting a refund . Now i’m waiting your answer to finish this. Thanks!

hello ! it seems that there is a bug with widget jobify: button action. in job main page, this is generating some strong/u code arround the job-overview-content div. if I remove it from 3rd column offer job, job overview is ok, no strong / u anymore. I desactivated all third plugins else than jobify and no change. How can we fix it ?

unfortunatly, my licence just expired 1 week ago and I cannot open any ticket. to fix this bug. how can we solve this then ?

Pre sale question: about cities list, I’ll to insert by hand? How it works?

Hey there,

With respect to your question here, if you intend to use locations, users will just need to fill in the location field that will be used to determine a job listings’ location. You can find the field within the form here: https://jobify-demos.astoundify.com/classic/post-a-job/ as an example.

If you intend users to specify regions, then you (the site admin) will need to add regions from the backend, that you would wish users to select during the job listing submission. These regions will be rendered on the front-end of the job submission form. Here is a sample on regions: https://jobify-demos.astoundify.com/extended/post-a-job/

I hope this information helps. Should you have any questions on this, please let me know.

Hi, while I can see you’d like for me to pay to create this question, this is a matter for everyone, not just me. I just need to know if you plan on replacing the testimonial section on the homepage with some other plugin. I’m not asking for help with something obscure. In your doco, you suggest using WooThemes ‘Testimonial’ so it will work on the homepage. With it being discontinued, I just want to know if something else is in the works to replace it or not. Otherwise, I’ll do something off the homepage. Thanks.

so if u purchase plugin bundle from WPJobManager this theme will cost € 200 ??

and other job themes on envato cost €70 with all plugins (all incl.)

Hey there,

In relation to your question here, you don’t necessarily need to purchase third-party plugins to use the theme. This depends on your site requirements.

The classic demo illustrates the default functionalities of the theme, wheres the extended demo illustrates additional functionalities which are provided with the help of third-party plugins purchased separately from the theme.

I would recommend checking out these two articles on the plugins used within each of the demos:

https://jobify.astoundify.com/article/992-what-plugins-are-used-by-the-jobify-classic-demo

https://jobify.astoundify.com/article/734-what-paid-plugins-are-used-on-the-jobify-extended-demo

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions or if I can be of any further help, please let me know!
