Hi, I am trying install the theme, but every-time i do that, it says the link has been expired. what does it mean, i just brought the theme.

First, make sure you have extracted the theme package locally on your computer. If you are trying to upload the complete package, it will fail in every case. You need to use the musiclfex.zip file.

If you are using the correct file, It is possible the resources of your hosting environment are not sufficient. In particular, the maximum upload file size might be too small. That’s why WordPress never ends the upload and returns the message. You need to allow at least 64Mb to upload in order to complete the transfer.

To review the current status of the upload maximum filesize, check the Site Health of WordPress. If it’s too small, then you need to upgrade it. If you are not sure how to perform this action, send a request to your hosting provider and they will do that for you.

To change the upload_max_size you need to access the php.ini file and change the corresponding values. Another way is by editing the .htaccess file that is created while installing WordPress and adding a few lines like:

upload_max_filesize = 64M post_max_size = 64M memory_limit = 256M

A much simpler solution is to upload the theme file via FTP or via the file manager of your hosting account. Simply add the file directly to wp-content/themes/ directory and then go back to WordPress Dashboard > Appearance to activate it. We strongly recommend also adding and activating the theme child instead.

Hello, it would be great if in your next update you add support for sensei lms, since until now I haven’t been able to make it work. With other themes I have had no problem. Woocommerce also warns me of outdated templates and that I should contact the theme creator for an update. The theme is great and with, I love it, only not being able to use sensei lms makes me a little sad.

We appreciate your kind words. However, we haven’t tested the particular plugin with Musicflex and we don’t officially support it. We mark down your request, and we’ll consider testing it for a future release. For the time being, we cannot guarantee it will work nor we can exclude the case you can make it work with a few modifications. Some small theme customization may be required, but still, we can’t advise as we haven’t used the plugin. Regarding the templates notification, you can ignore it until we ship a new version of the theme. Update is not pushing the update for WP Bakery or any other plugins associated with the theme.

Ended up having to delete the theme, and associated plugins, then reinstall all of it for it to work.

Not impressed – I submitted a ticket and applied for a refund also! It says it is compatible with Elementor (as at 22.04.2021) but after purchase I installed it and it only supports WP Bakery. We can see your point and we have already pushed your request. However, we’d like to note that the theme is compatible with elementer. What happened is, you tried to use Elementor with the imported content which is original created with WPBakery Page builder. In this case, you run into the shortcodes in simple text format, practically unreadable and certainely not usable for Elementor. Still, anyone who needs to use our theme with Elementor plugin, can do that but they have to create their own design elements.

To change or turn off the page loader log in to the Dashboard and go to Theme Options > General > Page Loader. All the options are self explained.

Is there a way to get the Archive View Posts: to show iframe content that is at the top of a post? For some reason Archive View is erasing iframe content from a post, but shows just fine in a Single View.

This is the way it was originally designed. In particular, the blog listing is designed for the post summary to appear in a limited area, defined by the featured image, in which an iframe wouldn’t fit or the preview would be very poor.

I love the way this theme looks! I have a quick question. How do i shrink the space between rows on page content… there is way too much padding or something!

First, make sure you don’t have added any custom CSS, that might result in this kind of effect. Check Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS or Dashboard > Theme Options > Advanced > Scripts & Styles > Custom CSS. If you have any rules added, remove them and review the site.

Otherwise, you can remove the padding using the Page Builder Row settings. You can edit the settings by clicking on the pencil icon that’s on the top right of each row.

In particular, on each Row settings look for the Extended* tab and on the tab look for Padding Top and Padding Bottom options.Just select No padding and click on Save changes, then update the page .

If you need to remove even more space between the rows, try adding a negative value on the Margins (top and bottom). You can do that on the Design tab of the Row settings.

In general, we don’t recommend removing all the space between rows. Leave some space so the page can “breath”.

Will you guys be updating the code to take advantage of srcset for images? It seems that no matter what size the theme is rendered at, it’s always serving the large image for any element on the website that has an image.

I went changed out the images to “lighter weight” images because it wasn’t switching them out automatically like it was supposed to. I put the full sized version of “A Perfect Man” back up. It is not switching out the sizes appropriate to the container. The container is showing 360×360 but is serving 1024×1024 instead of either 300 or 500. Same thing for featured images for blog posts – it’s serving 1024×1024 when the container is at 500 (i.e. Jan 2020 post – that I did not change the featured image out, shows this issue). It should be serving the smaller file. It is not. Hence the reason for me asking about this in the first place.

To activate the plugins, repeat the process but this time select Activate from the Bulk actions drop down menu

Musicflex includes WPBakery Page Builder by default, The updates for this plugin are included with the theme updates. You only need to login your Envato account, download the package and install the latest version of Musicflex on the site; then, the options we described earlier will become available. The latest version of the theme includes WPBakery Page Builder 6.4.1

Why has the latest update suddenly added a strange per menu item background and how do I get rid of it? I can’t find a setting for it. But it’s added a pink background to the highlighted page the menu is on.

The plugin in question is called: Text Sliders by Bravenest.

I was looking for a means to do some rotating quotes and unfortunately your Theme which does have an image slider, does not have the ability to do text.

I’ve figured out their CSS code and turned it off. Which is a current workaround.

What would be more ideal is if MusicFlex had the ability to do a text slider too. Great for quotes from press and fans kind of thing.

We can imagine lots of reasons why that might be happening, but we can assure you that this has nothing to do with MusicFlex itself.

Please review our installation guide ( https://plethorathemes.com/kb/theme-installation/?kb_product=musicflex ) to ensure that you followed all the correct steps and used the correct files included in the theme package.

Also, you should consider that sometimes, any download might be corrupted, so you should try re-downloading the package via your Envato account to ensure that this is not the case.

Instagram widget doesn’t appear to be working under single artist profile. Can you fix this on demo? I’m showing clients that are interested but it’s hard to convince them when things on demo isn’t functioning.

When I click on the shopping cart icon, it doesn’t do anything. It’s misleading when it shows item is in cart but does nothing when clicked. Are you able to fix this? If so i’ll buy this theme. I just don’t feel like fixing it myself.

A hint: try saving Theme Options. Just go to Dashboard > Theme Options > General and on any tab click on Save changes. In some cases, this action helped resolve a similar issue.

I like this theme so far, but I am having a problem. with http the site loads fine, with https it does not. I’ve never experienced this kind of thing before. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. I have this error in the DIRECTORY PERMISSION ISSUES “File Permissions: 755 Users Group: 100 File Owner: 19096201 Permissions are not according to WordPress guidlines. You should update to 644.” I tried to change the permissions via ftp but with tje 644 perimissions the web site return a “500 error”.

This issue is typically not related to our theme. We are not sure what is the configuration of the hosting service. Additionally, we are not sure what method you’ve used for installing WordPress. In most hosting services, uploading and extracting wordpress.zip on the public directory is enough and no extra steps are required. However, you may have non-standard settings.

If you have just started deploying we recommend installing WordPress from scratch. This way you will ensure the correct permissions will apply to all files and folders. Most hosting services provide CMS installers. Please, review your hosting plan and the hosting panel for automated WordPress installing. This method is typically recommended for avoiding this kind of issue.

If the issue persists you may need to contact the hosting provider and explaining the problem you are facing; they should be able to help you out with that if the issue is on their side.
