I try to upload Download and import plexx.wordpress file and it gives me error :File is empty. Please upload something more substantial. This error could also be caused by uploads being disabled in your php.ini or by post_max_size being defined as smaller than upload_max_filesize in php.ini. Could you please help me to solve this? You can reorder filters with some trick in Portfolio > Filters, click there quick edit and change slug to “ablue” for Blue, “bred” and “cgreen” for others for example, because they are ordered alphabetically.
About hiding “All” button it’s not possible at the moment but I will add it in the future, you can send me admin access and URL to support email and I will do it for you.

Current version of the theme doesn’t support different Light/Dark style for specific pages, but I think it’s a good idea and I will try to add this option to the next updatae.

Hi Im a filmmaker and I’m considering your template. In your “Portfolio 3 Masonry” example you have the option to select “all, Industrial or Photo” which displays specific images. Can you do the same thing with the 3 column video layout? If I wanted to have a “music, Cinema, commercial or all option could I do the same thing with the video portfolio template?

Unfortunately in Wordpress portfolio section is assigned with slug and you can’t change it for current set, after changing slug your portfolio items still stay in data base but can’t be shown.
The only way to show your portfolio items for different slug is change in database: “wp_posts” > “post_type” from “portfolio-item” to “your-slug”
Hi there, i am looking for a very simple theme, it only needs to do two things:
1. accept a submission of video URL (tiktok video link from the app) and automatically generate the embedded code from it so that the video appear in the gallery. Same thing that you are able to do with youtube and vimeo.
2. video should play within the frame, without opening up an additional page.
3. on desktop must autoplay each video whenever the mouse is over that specific video, and on mobile must autoplay when the video is visible on the screen.
4. must have the infinite scrolling
5. videos should not be uploaded on the site, but just played remotely.
6. the size of the card where the video will be embedded should be customizable by admin.
Can your theme do all the above? Thanks.

1. The theme supports only Vimeo and Youtube embed code, can’t guarantee with Tiktok
2. If you set “Open in lightbox” option video plays in popup window – https://plexx.mallinidesign.com/portfolio/video-light/
3. Autoplay by deafult but some browsers in some cases can block this function.
4. Available in the theme.
5. Remotely only from Youtube and Vimeo
6. Thumbnail size (aspect ratio) can be set in Wordpress image editor.

I have a question about your Vimeo portfolio shortcode, does it fetch all videos on my account automatically and show them as my portfolio or it just gets an URL of a Vimeo video and then it shows only that video in the page? Thanks

No it doesn’t fetch them automatically, you need to add them one by one to portfolio page (add URL, featured image, GIF animation for “Youtube style”).
We really like the theme and the design of the portfolio. We have a web with themeforest Bridge multipurpose theme and we want to go to PLEXX, both have Visual Composer. Is it easy to change templates? There will be many modifications to the structure we already have in bridge ?. thanks!

I’m not the author of Bridge theme so I can’t tell you how to migrate to Plexx and what modifications you need to do. But Plexx template has its own portfolio plugin so your previous projects will be unavailable in new theme.
Hi, is it not possible to automatomatically show the vimeo/youtube starting screen as the image in the portfolio? It is very troublesome to create images of every new video that is added in those services. Normally these are show automatically when adding a video to Wordpress. Hello, thank you for your question. No, there is no such option because Themeforest donesn’t allow add these functions in a theme, but you can use some third-party Wordpress plugins to get screenshot of the moment you need from video.
Would you know such a plugin? Can you direct me to the right direction… not sure what such plugins are called.

“Options function” is ability to change colors, fonts and many more but it can’t replace rows/columns in page builder, almost all examples of the theme you can see in Demo website.
You can organize text and some pictures with Wordpress editor and also you can use some free Page Builder (visual composer).

Free page builder is not included, but the page you sent me was made only with theme options – Video portfolio 3 columns + minimal blog, also About me section. There is also possible to add some text with Wordpress editor (before or after Video portfolio block) which supports paragraphs, headings and etc.

2. It depends on your location, server is located in Netherlands so it takes less than second to load all items for me.
3. Yes you have to create them by yourself (wordpress supports only GIF animation) with some app or service, I used free online service for Youtube/Vimeo videos to GIF – https://giphy.com/
Hi, I really love your theme but there is one doubt that´s keeping me from buying it. If i use it strictly as a video portfolio site – can I sort (filter) the videos by category, i.e. music video, animation etc… They will all be videos as video lightboxes – I just need them to have the possibility of filtering (like you have for photos here: https://plexx.mallinidesign.com/portfolio/portfolio-3-masonry/.
