This theme is extremely problematic. First problem is I still am covered by “Support” however, when I log in to the Trendy Themes support site, it says I don’t have any active subscriptions and am unable to submit a ticket. The main problem, is that I used this theme to run a political candidate website and now the theme seems to have crashed after the latest theme update, which was suppose to address WP 5.5 compatibility issues. Unfortunately, until the vendor fixes these issues, I would absolutely not recommend this theme to anyone. Please advise!

We are sorry about your trouble. The theme was compatibility issue of WordPress 5.5 but we have release an update with fixed that issue. In this case you need to update only TrendyTheme Core(tt-plugin) plugin no need to update the theme. You must update that plugin and must clear the site cache. Hello – I just purchased this theme and though I know there are demo’s to copy and paste, I can’t find the “default demo” files. I would basically like my site to start off exactly like the “default main demo” version. Would the “multipage” demo file get me where I’d need to be?

[PURCHASER] I opened a support ticket 2 weeks ago. Followed up every few days. Got a response to fix soon five (5) days ago.. still no response. I have a main menu problem (language switching down down text) alignment bug. Is this 2 weeks+ the normal time for support on this product? I wasn’t expecting it to take so long for item support.

After many failed message, when I visit page, there are just a few blogs in the home page. There is not any thing else.
Note I have not set DNS of web site yet. I use local computer to update the DNS. Does this matter the import?

1. It looks like you did not install and activate all required plugin. You can be found Appearance >> Plugins.
2. Before you import all content you must fulfill the those PHP requirements on your server:max_execution_time=300 max_input_time=600 max_input_vars = 5000 memory_limit=256M post_max_size 48M upload_max_filesize 48M
3. Local server doesn’t matter but it takes more time than live server. That’s why you need to fulfill option 2.

This theme uses wpbakery which requires update, but we can’t update it because it requires a WP Bakery license, which puts our WP install at risk due to possible security concerns, how can we get this updated without paying wpbakery and still use the theme fully? This was never warned when we first bought Nominee theme

WPbakery is external plugin which is included into theme because for each product we purchase “Extended license” and that’s why we are able to include it into them.
You can get the latest plugin version by sending us a request about it via contact form on our profile’s page http://themeforest.net/user/trendytheme (it is in the right bottom corner) and we’ll send you current version.
Remember, that we update WPbakery plugin with theme updates time to time so with each next theme update, WPbakery will be also updated.
You don’t need to register this product because it is not required but if you want to get license, then you need to purchase this plugin directly from author.
This is how it works for all themes on Themeforest and not only in our case.

Hi, when trying to import city-gov/contents.xml, it looks like it’s stuck for at least 15 minutes now. I’m on the latest wordpress (also there’s a social counter) install issue that says “Something went wrong with the plugin API.”

You have to increase those limits to a minimum as follows: max_execution_time=300, max_input_time=600, max_input_vars=5000, memory_limit=256M, post_max_size=48M, upload_max_filesize=48M.

You have “Landing Page 1” and “Landing Page 2” as demos… why are they not available on the import demo page?
Hello there, Landing pages and some other pages comes with default demo as a Template. Which you can use as your homepage.
Just click on “Add Template” button when you create a new page from the back-end editor.
