Hi, there isn’t a feature like that available in the theme, nor in Opencart by default, unfortunately.

Hello, I did not see the “Disable Add to Cart Button” plugin for Journal 3.0.46. Out of stock products, a useful module. Skin-> Product Listing-> Hide Price if Zero and Hide Add to Cart if Zero. I am not using the modules. Do you have any advice?
Hi, for out of stock add to cart visibility, look inside the product grid or list styles in Journal > Styles > Product Grid > [Active Style] > Button Group > Stock Visibility.

Hi, one recommendation for an update, since you cannot simply overwrite to get the default style for scrollbars, the only way to do it is to remove all ::-webkit-scrollbar rules from the code.. Please put the styling under body so we can have the standard scrollbar look (for the main window) in supported browsers on desktop..

Hello, I imported the demo 01 and some erros showed and I don’t know how to fix it.
1. The pop-up show fixed in the top of homepage, this literally don’t “pop-up”

Its a brand new server, I used journal for a long time and this never happened before, and the homepage takes about 14 seconds to show….. this only happens with journal, with default theme nothing this happen.. maybe its something I need to enable on the server ?
Hi, that issue is most likely encountered because you have php 7.4 and Opencart twig engine does not support that version, downgrade php to 7.3 and your issue will be solved after.

I’m using Journal 3 with OpenCart 3.0.3.2.. I’m testing my contact forms before going live with my website. When an enquiry comes through, it is not like a regular email but shows up in a form. Can this be changed so it looks like a regular email? The subject line is my website and not “enquiry” like it was when using OpenCart 2.xx and Journal 2. I really need the subject line to read “Enquiry” so I can have it go into a certain folder. Where do I find that to change it? Also, how do I disable the logo in the contact form email? It is huge and I really don’t want my logo in the emails. Thanks.
Hi, you can change the subject by editing catalog/controller/journal3/form.php and you can edit the email template from catalog/view/theme/journal3/template/journal3/module/form_email.twig

Thanks, I appreciate the quick response. I’m not familiar with coding but I tried to change the subject line and delete the logo where you told me. The subject did not change and the linked logo is still in the contact email. Since my support is expired, I’m going to try to make my own contact module.
To clarify what I changed for the subject line: ‘subject’ => $this->config->get(‘config_name’) change to ‘subject’ => $this->config->get(‘Enquiry’). Since I’m not familiar with coding, I’m probably doing something wrong.
Hi, change the line to something like ‘subject’ => ‘Enquiry’, and always refresh Opencart modifications and clear Opencart template cache from the blue right button in Opencart admin dashboard: http://take.ms/0I6T3 whenever making changes to files in order to see the changes in frontend.

In the journal Template, if there is a non-existent product in stock, the shopping cart will be displayed. Do you have a module that does not display this shopping cart option if the product is no longer available? And replace it with the desired text (such as: to be informed in case of inventory or non-existent, etc.). and if there is a way, please help us to do it

Product Grid. “Add to cart” button. The link leads to the cart. I want the link to go to the product page, not to the cart.
Hi, that goes to the product page whenever you have required options to pick, otherwise it adds the product to cart. We don’t have option to change the default behaviour of the add to cart button.

Hello, I use OC 2.3.0.2. and am considering to upgrade my default theme with Journal 3, but would rather only use some modules included in the theme like banners for the start. Is this possible?
So in other words to keep the original default OC theme and only use some of the modules you include in Jounal 3?

Hi, that would not be possible since Journal will become the actual active theme in its entirety.
However, since Journal is so customizable you can probably recreate the same default theme look and only decorate your page with the modules you need.

It depends on what 3rd party modules you use. If you’re using custom frontend modules they may not be compatible out of the box, please ask their developers if they support custom themes like Journal 3.
Custom admin modules (which only work in the admin) should not have any interference with Journal.

Hi, we don’t understand what you mean by “different subdomains”, if both domain and subdomain are both managed by the same Opencart installation you can use the theme on both of them. As for floating cart, there is no such option and we don’t have plans to add it in the near future.

Basically what I need is to use the page builder with the multi store feature. For each subdomain I will set up a different store, that’s it.
Regarding topic 2, what I would like to know is if I can edit the totals column style in the cart page, leaving it fixed on the right side?
Opencart has multistore feature, you can create multiple stores and use Journal with different options/modules for each store. As for totals in cart page, there is no such option to add them in column area.

Hi, updating Journal 3 from a previous Journal 3 version, it’s simply a matter of reuploading the theme files to your server, like the first time you’ve installed it. You can see the installation video, it’s pretty much the same in terms of uploading the theme.

[Active Style] means whatever style you use, as there can be more styles than one.

Hi, that’s a matter of button display on smaller screens, look in Journal > Styles > Product Page > [Active Style] > Buttons > Add to Cart > Display. There may be breakpoint options where the button is displayed as icon only on smaller screens.

Although we see the logo in smaller displayes on sticky header , Why can’t we see a logo on the sticky header in desktop view of website? Can we enable it?
