Hi Guys, Did you receive my email? I was thinking on using your theme in a non profit project that connects people in need (elderly and inmunocompomised) with people willing to help. Please let me know if I can get a discount or an special license for this. I will give you the credit on the website.

Thank you.

Hi

sorry we don’t have any option for discounts or special licenses

Hi Team,

We have active support for the theme.

In WorkScout 1.x, we previous utilised WooCommerce as the Registration Engine.

This was a selectable option in the Appearance/Login & Registration Options.

We were using additional plug-ins to provide Double Opt-In/Account Activation Email, which integrated with the WooCommerce Registration.

We want to maintain WooCommerce as the registration provider, as it provides more extensible log-in options, for example Multi-Factor authentication in the future

WorkScout 2.x, whilst improving the built-in WS Registration Provider, does not now provide an option to use WooCommerce as the Registration Provider.

Can WooCommerce as the Registration Engine be enabled, and can this be integrated with the WorkScout Registration Form?

There does not appear to be any documentation setting out the migration path for those using WorkScout 1.x w/ WooCommerce Registration engine.

Please advise

Kind Regards

James

Hi James

we removed those options as they were generating more trouble than it’s worth it, but generally if you won’t be using popup login/registration you can easily link the buttons to your WooCommerce page to register users by that page instead of the default WorkScout page

Thank you- We shall attempt to do so. If we need any further assistance, I shall let you know.

Is there an option to completely hide the LOGIN/REGISTER buttons from header on mobile devices only?

You could do that with CSS and media queries

Presale question. Can an applicant submit his resume (pdf or docx file) without registering and without using additional premium plugin ?

There’s just a setting for that

Thanks for your response. Is the theme translatable and which plugin do you recommend to Fully translate it into French ?

Is there a widget for displaying jobs in an automatic slider ?

It’s fully translatable and we recommend Loco Translate http://www.docs.purethemes.net/workscout/knowledge-base/theme-translation/ There’s job spotlight widget with carousel whcih can be seen on homepage

Hi, i have some pre-sales questions.

1. Can i use Ultimate-Member private messages addon instead of your plugin?

2. Can i use UM register page by default?

3. Does your theme compatible with FacetWP plugin? Because it can make many custom filters and mobile friendly ( since they have off-canvas filter menu)

4. Does this theme comaptible with WPJM-fields editor, WPJM-pakages, WPJM-visiblity which is 3rd party addon.

5. Can i use default woocommerce shop page? I want to make employer to write a review on woocommerce reviews page.

Hi

ad1. Haven’t tested yet but I guess you could

ad2. Yes, but it won’t work with our popup login/registrations

ad3. No

ad4. Haven’t checked it with Fields editor but the other should work

ad5. There is a shop page available.

Hi, how will “home-based” jobs show up on Google searches? They won’t have a location because they are remote jobs. Thanks

Hi

jobLocation is not required in schema markup, but how exactly it will be displayed I’m not sure, I don’t have any example to test it.

Hi, is it possible for the website to detect location of the website user and charge them in their local currency? e.g. the website would detect the user is in New York because they have a New York IP Address?

e.g. If a New York company wants to list a job, they would have to pay in USD $99 and a London company would need to pay in GBP £99

If not, would this be possible with customisation?

Thanks

Looks like this could work? Geolocation WooCommerce pricing: https://www.pricebasedcountry.com/ What do you think?

I can’t guarantee it would

Fair point – thanks for coming back to me – I’ll contact them to check

Hi, is it possible for to list jobs under different currencies? e.g. A New York Job would be set to $USD and a London job would be set to £GBP

Or maybe use ACF or Pods?

Technically yes, and not that complicated to add by dev, but we don’t have such option out of the box and we don’t do any customization jobs

Thanks – appreciate your reply – just needed to know if it’s possible.

Hi guys! We’re very excited to get the new update. Is the ETA still this week?

Awesome!!! Totally looking forward to getting it installed.

Hi,

I wanna add some fields in jobs overview cause i added some fields with wp job manager fields editor. There are some “select” and others types.

I’m in single-job_listing.php page but i don’t know how to do, i tried to copy the others ones but it didn’t work.

Could you help me with that please ?

Kind regards.

Hi

Please contact me via Support Tab about this. Thank you.

Hi hope you’re well. The theme looks amazing. Can you tell me is it possible to run this like a recruitment agency? e.g. I will not have any employers. It will only be me posting jobs as the Admin.

If I am posting all jobs on the site, it doesn’t make sense to keep repeating my logo on every job so I need to remove the Employer logo from the website and remove the Employer registration option etc.

Please see this example mockup I made showing what I mean ( I would like to remove all Employer images and registration etc: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/16bRj2Cwsmbv7GjWitJSkE7sgxPZrvJZX?usp=sharing

Thanks

Hi

yes of course, you can disable role option in Theme settings, and logos part can be easily hidden with CSS, I can help with that.

Think I found a bug…. I installed google api keys, had problems but I did manage to get the Address Suggestion one working. I decided to go back to openstreet maps for it but the City, Postcode box does not show the hit enter text in the placeholder. It shows the google maps pin still..?

Thanks. For some reason when typing in the city postcode for the top job listed the search function does not find it. What am I doing wrong as it’s listed the same way the ones below are but it finds them. using open street

Can you help?

Can i customized the following on the theme:

1. Add checkbox on each resume on the listing and add columns. 2. Add buttons on the job listing. 3. Add dashboard elements

Tnx

Hi

you don’t have purchased badge on your comment. We provide support only to verified buyers. If your webdev says theme has limitation, it’s your dev who has them ;) this is just bunch of PHP code, nothing limits that

Hi tnx for the reply. I agree. Anyway, how can i have that…i just paid the webdev to purchase the theme for me before. How can i have the badge then.?

You can’t, it’s only for users who have bought theme. Ask your webdev for purchase (license) key and confirmation, if you will contact us via Support Tab with that info we will verify you.

Hi, first of all congratulations for your theme.

I have a pre sale question. I would like to set a maximum number of applications that candidates can send to the jobs. is it possible?

Example: Package free: candidate can send application to only 1 job. Package 4,95$: candidate can send 5 applications to 5 jobs.

And last question, are you available for a fee to customize this theme?

Thanks

Hi

there are no packages for applications so that wouldn't be possible. We currently don't offer customisation services

thanks

How can I add additional items to the dropdown menu?

Screenshot here https://ibb.co/56VrkC8

Hi

currently it’s editable in file wp-content/plugins/workscout-core/templates/account/logged_section.php

I always experience the following “Publishing failed. Could not update the meta value of _job_expires in database.” It happens whether i have put the or not.

_job_expires is value added by WP Job Manager, to make sure try to change WordPress to default theme, and test it again, but in my opinion it’s issue with WPJM so please contact them https://wpjobmanager.com/support/

Hi purethemes, I see you guys are great at providing support and responding to inquiries which is awesome!! However none of our questions have been answered. We purchased the theme a while back and haven’t deployed it yet (however our initial support period has lapsed and we are trying to make a decision whether to deploy it for one of our sites) – but just wondering do we have to renew our support before we are able to have our general functionality comments/questions answered? Thank you!

Hi

users with active support have of course priority, I’ll answer your questions in a moment, you asked those during weekend and on Monday we usually have a lot of tickets to go through after weekend so we are not able to reply immediately. Our response time is up to 48hours

Excellent thank you! That makes complete sense. Appreciate the quick reply

I want to remove the price adding feature. Do you have this feature? I will buy it if any.

Hi, I got several presale questions.

1) Do the theme follow the guideline of google job posting and add job posting structured data on the theme?

2) Is it possible to set a trial package. Meaning the 1st post are free for new user?

3) Can I add or delete a field in the post a job form?

4) Is it possible if registered company being put on hold first and admin have to approve them manually

Thats all for now, Thank you

Hi

ad1. Yes it does, but that’s hanlded by WP Job Manager https://wpjobmanager.com/document/fixing-structured-data-issues/

ad2. There are free packages but no built-in option to limit purchase times

ad3. Yes https://wpjobmanager.com/document/editing-job-submission-fields/

ad4. not out of the box, but should be possible with https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-approve-user/

Thank you for your reply. Too bad you dont have the free trial function..

Hi there, we purchased WorkScout a while back and haven’t deployed it yet but like some of the new features in version 2.0. Just a couple questions before we renew our support plan;

1. Does the theme support using “email addresses” as a username for login?

2. Currently when a user registers and the site emails the user a system generated password, it directs them to the main wp-login.php page for login – is it possible to easily change this so they are directed the to site/popup login page? (keeping the branding of the website and not showing the WP login).

3. Is it possible to edit the Registration form fields for Employers to require them to enter a “Company Name” and “Telephone number” which would be associated to their account?

4. When a user logs in for the first time with their system generated password, is it possible to prompt the user to change their password before they can continue? Or would this require some customization?

5. Do you offer any paid customization services for making minor tweaks?

Thank you

Hi

ad1. Sort of, but we will be changing that in this week update

ad2. “Enable Forced Front End Login” in WorkScout Core -> Registration

ad3. Currently no, I mean only via code

ad4. We don’t have such option

ad5. Unfortunately no, but we can recommend someone

Thank you so much. It looks like there will be an update coming this week which we are excited about. If you have any developers that offer paid services for your theme that would be excellent. Thank you so much for the reply
