first and foremost big kudos to you for providing such an amazing product and support! I really appreciate your talent and dedication.
I am writing you since I have noticed that, correct me if I am wrong, it is virtually impossible to edit product page content and layout via Elementor on a per-product basis.
The store I am setting up needs basically any product to have customised layout since all have different settings, I can’t provide an example but think about books or movies where you would like to create visually captivating content with parallax backgrounds, videoes or else Elementor offers.
Elementor now allows to edit just the area below “Description” but that is just a column, not the full width of the page.
I understand there is the option to pick a global template to place below Reviews section, but I do not find it useful since it show the same content for all products. It would be awesome to be able to edit the area below “Description, Inspirations and Specifications” on each product page freely. Is there any way to do that?

I totally understand what you mean and it’s a top level task i want to add.
The thing is Rey’s product page layouts cannot be replicated easily with EPRO because i wrapped many blocks with hooks (which are not available in the theme builder) so exact replicas of them, cannot be made easily at this moment.
Also since Elementor Pro is paid, besides adding compatibility, i wanted to make Rey’s own page template solution for those not using EPRO, so this is my main reason why i’m not yet adding this feature, because it takes a while and i want to take my time to make it right.
For the moment, as you said, only Global generic sections can be appended, either on all pages in Customizer settings, or per page, in the Global sections tab eg: https://d.pr/i/5aWMtM (not sure if you spotted this one).
Anyway, this is just a workaround and i know it’s quite hard to maintain it. I’ll try to prioritize this feature higher up and at least try to make a better compatibility with EPRO’s theme builder.

I see, that’s totally understandable. I am not the only one to think Rey is already one of the best if not THE BEST WooCommerce theme out there, such feature will make it even better and very flexible. Thank you very much for taking into consideration prioritizing such feature, that’s great!

To be honest i can’t wait to start working on it, because i already have a bunch of ideas for some product page layouts and for sure it’ll bring a lot more uniqueness to Rey, which is one of the things i value the most.

I confirm the issue happening in Customizer options, and just fixed this locally. I’m releasing a new update in a few days.
At the moment, if you want an alternative and use a Header global section, you could change the color in the Header Nav. element eg: https://d.pr/i/MPnstM .

Hello, you have a mobile safari bug. When you click the search icon to bring up the text box, upon clicking the text area to type, search box disappears and you have to click the search icon once again to open the search text area. What a beautiful theme! I just have a question in regards to a project we are creating. We need to showcase products and prices, but the cart and “add to cart” buttons should be removed. Instead there should be another button at the product that opens a chat to get a quote. Would that be possible?

The first part is as easy as enabling an option to disable Add to cart functionalities (Catalog mode), however adding a button to open a live chat is a bit different and depends a lot on the live chatting plugin.
I could help adding a button instead of the add to cart one, however i would first need to know what live chat plugin you would be using.

where can I set related products number and the image size?

To change related products number you can copy the code from here https://d.pr/n/EX4nfP and paste it into the child theme’s functions.php . Be sure to edit post_per_page and columns as you want.
I noted to eventually make an option for this, to be more comfortable through options in the Customizer.
Onto image size, there isn’t a specific option to set the image sizes on the Related products and instead the sizes are inherited from Customizer > WooCommerce > Product images > Thumbnail width, which is the global setting for images of loops.

I have a weird problem with Products Grid in Elementor. If I choose to display products based on an Attribute the products do not show at all.
If I use the filter in widgets though based on that attribute, the filter is working fine so I know that the attributes are correctly used.
My only problem is the product grid not showing anything with the attributes chosen. No matter what attribute and what value I select, it happens for all of them.
Any ideas what might be happening here?

Yes, in the latest version i added a Max Height adjustment for the logo eg: https://d.pr/i/sym5Xa . This will force a maximum height while keeping the aspect ratio of the logo.

Have you tried using the Products Grid element in Mini Grid skin mode? It should display the products with the image on the left and text on the right. Please let me know if this is what you were looking for, and if not, if you have some examples.

In Customizing>Woocommerce>Product Catalog-Layout i haven’t found such an option. I have tried to create a new elementor page and used a Rey product grid but i haven’t found mini grid skin mode. In Layout settings>Skin There are only Carousel and Carousel Section
Indeed, in Customizing>Woocommerce>Product Catalog-Layout you won’t find it because i haven’t added it there, that being the global setting for the products grid.
On the Product grid however it exist eg: https://d.pr/i/CBGKJd . Maybe you’re not running the latest version?

This option is OK to have it to display in a small grid the latest products for example but it not usable to display a whole category
Yes, it’s mostly for page blocks only, not archives or taxonomies. So i understand what you mean now.
In the customizer settings there are multiple grid layouts (masonry, metro, scattered etc.) but they’re all for multi-columns view. I’m guessing you want a single product per row right? Picture on the left and product content on the right.
I could create this, but i would need a bit more details, even some examples would be great.

To be honest i never used AMP before and i’m totally inexperienced, however i saw there are plugins that add this functionality.
As far as i can think of, there shouldn’t be issues, however if there are, i can def. try solving them, so if you’re planning on using it and notice anything wrong, please let me know.
PS: Just released the update yesterday for both Rey Core and Rey theme. They should be visible in WP Dashboard > Updates section.

Hi Marius, with regards to AMP, it won’t work from the plugins. It would need theme integration otherwise it will be just a standard AMP theme, but this isn’t a big must have for me. I also think I updated to the newest one? 1.6.2? I don’t recall updating to this. The code I’m afraid sill is not working.

In case you’re using Loco Translate, try scanning the Rey Core plugin. Most strings are contained in there, while the theme itself is mostly a skeleton for the core plugin.

Hey Marius! Just a quick bug report after my first hours with he theme: Under Rey Theme > Elements Manager, there seems to be an issue with the switch labels. It shows either “disable” or “enable”, but the labels won’t change depending on what option has been selected. It’s not that bad at all, but I just wanted to let you know
I’ll get back to you within the next days with a little list of possible improvements or “nice to haves”! So far I totally fell in love with Rey
