Hi, I’ve seen this Estimated delivery date feature on several Shopify themes and yet not many Opencart themes feature such a feature – neither are there are extensions available for Opencart which do this. Is this something Journal may consider to elevate things?

Hi, That’s disappointing. With something like this Journal ahs the chance to stand out from the crowd even more. Almost every Shopify theme has this feature because it hugley helps generate sales. No opencart themese or extensions offer it. It’s a feature that almost no extension developers will want to do I think because of the highly customised nature of Journal.

Is Journal 3 with the function of bundle sale at discounted price? eg. on the product page of item A, if you buy item A + item B + item C together, bundle special price $ XXX (either a discounted price or discount in %)
Another function I am looking for:
E.g.: If you buy item A , create an option to add $5 for a packaging box , add $5 for an additional gift card , etc
Could you advise how to set up these two functions if journal 3 supports? Many thanks.

very sad to see that you cannot support svg logos which are tiny file size and scale properly. I understand opencart does not support but istalling the ocmod file is easy and then opencart supports svg, but journal does not and gives errors : catalog\model\journal3\image.php on line 55 svg is invalid. My logo appears, but i get this error in the header, the error is in a journal file not opencart

that phrase isnt in any of tyhe files in that folder. I found it in lang/gb/product/product.php $_[‘text_success’] var is it the theme calling it or opencart, because it cannot be right and cant chnage it because review will then be wrong ?
its got to be journal, as when i swtich to opencart theme, it doesnt do it

i have checked and those lines are already commented out.
I disagree that its not theme related, default theme doesnt show any message at all, journal theme show the review message, how can that not be a theme issue ?

no i cant, your demos all show the correct wording. I have fresh install of OC 3.0.3.2. no other addons, an import of demo1 and thats it. i cant find a page called logout to look at, the link in the top menu points to opencrat page >logout.
Totally confused.

If you cannot replicate the issue on our demos then it seems it’s isolated on your store and valid support is required as per Envato policies.

It would be great if there was only one screen or file where we could do the menu and language translations. we wouldn’t have to go through the menu and translate the menu
Hi, unfortunately that’s not possible as Journal is fully dynamic in this regard and any module can be created as many times as you want and placed in different places, so it’s fully flexible in this way, it doesn’t have a fixed menu modules.

is it possible to add ask question form to product tab, i checked product block option but their is no option in “Content Type” to set form or module.
Hi, not in the tab module but you can use Journal > Product Extras > Extra Modules. These are builders into which you can add other modules, like the Contact Form. https://docs.journal-theme.com/docs/product-extras/extra-modules/

Hi, I added a payment gateway extension (Instamojo). Everything worked well, but when going to checkout page it shows this error: Notice: Undefined property: Proxy::getMethod in /home/ctifshqwmaep/public_html/ocart/catalog/model/journal3/checkout.php on line 257

Hi, not all payment / shipping extensions work with one page checkouts because they are developed for the default Opencart checkout, consult with its developers for more information or use the default Opencart checkout in order to avoid such issues.

Hi, I just did a successful test order with quick checkout and PayPal standard – Journal 3 with Opencart 3.0.3.2. Where can I change the success page message so it’s more detailed than just saying “success”? Is it possible to create a custom page? Also, I noticed the email order confirmation has the logo link in it. Where I can I remove that? Thanks so much!
