hi I just got an email that “We’d like to let you know that an update to your item Arlo | Portfolio WordPress Theme by Frenify is now available in your Downloads page.” So do I have to hit download and reinstall it in my wordpress account? Or do I save over? Or how does an “update” work? Do I have to pay for it? Is there a video on how to update Arlo over existing? thanks

On a fresh and clean WP install. I followed the instructions, installed the theme, but the demo homepages never work. They are always broken like missing CSS.
The import always fails:

PHP Configuration limits Issues you may encounter, such as demo content fails when importing and similar issues, are generally related to excessively low PHP configuration limit settings. You can either increase these limits on your own, or contact your web host and ask to have the limits increased to the following minimums:
memory_limit – 96M
max_input_vars – 3000
max_execution_time – 600
post_max_size – 32M
upload_max_filesize – 32M
allow_url_fopen – ON
Fix these limitations and try again

Hi, everytime when I try to import the demo content I get a server time-out. This is not really the problem, but when I try to follow the tutorial on youtube they end up with a different end result than I am.

I did what you told me to and I still got the same message that the server took to long to respond. After selecting the home modern as homepage it still didn’t get the right layout. The picture of the guy isn’t showing in the middle of the screen when you first land on the homepage and many elements are jumped… It looks like there isn’t any styling done

love your theme! the global aesthetics is really slick, and especially the creative portfolio presentations are all elegant in fine detail.
my questions:
1 – as some people have also noted, the otherwise great rendering of the interactive and presentational portfolio pages somehow has different problems when looked at on mobile (in my case ios safari). will this be adressed? (I do not list the different issues, as people have mentioned them here on different commentaries)
2 – are there more examples of the ordinary (‘non-representational’) portfolio list pages and how they look? I can find 2 different styles looking through the demos, but nowhere get a feeling of which variations are included / possible (– and personally I do not find the one example of the portfolio here http://frenify.com/envato/frenify/wp/arlo/1/portfolio/ up on par with the other looks… – so, I´d be happy to learn about alternatives and where to see them)
3 – is it feasible to have keyboard navigation enabled for the sliders + presentational pages?
4 – the search results are rather ‘sober’ w/o images given this is a visual/portfolio theme; is / will there be a way to change the search result renderings?
5 – I understand your theme is based on Elementor; is it still possible to use Gutenberg?
overall I think, if esp. (1 + 4) is taken care of the theme is really ‘a treat’ (read: underpriced) for what it does and for how awesome it looks…!

2. We just have only one layout for portfolio page (but you can add new default or full width page with portfolio shortcodes). We will add another portfolio page layouts in the next updates.
3. Unfortunately, it’s impossible.

5. All our shortcodes was made only for Elementor Free Page Builder. Elementor is free, has unlimited options and is very ease to use.

on 1: turns out after correcting some security settings in my browser 2 problems remain for me in ios/Safari: 1 ‘Split Slider’ misaligns text/titles and 2) ‘Creative Portfolio’ simply doesn´t work beyond showing one image. (otherwise I assume the missing thumbs / interactivity of interactive demos #2-5 is by design on mobie) – sending you screenshot of 1; issue 2 is not helped by screenshot…)

I have just bought your theme, but every demo page looks broken. When i try edit it via Elementor all items are saved as giant text editor. They are not separate sections. I installed it on fresh wordpress and set up php as described in documentation.

Guys, you’ve got a few great views (Creative Portfolio and Interactive Demos), but these views don’t work on my iPhone. I can’t scroll them and/or they crash and don’t look good on mobile. Hope you fix it, maybe I’ll buy it then. Also, where are some project views? I mean, I want to show my portfolio, click on the case study and show details. Don’t you have such view? I hope you add it, because these demos look cool.
