Hi there, I have completed my site using your theme but I have just noticed the menu or the footer doesn’t show at all on the iPhone. Can you help? Thanks
For the footer, can you go the theme option panel Footer -> General and change Footer position to Absolute.
For the header, can you try adding the following custom CSS at the theme options panel at Advanced -> Custom CSS

position: relative;
z-index: 20;
}Unfortunately, the iPhone browse is not supported by the theme because we do not have any devices to test on. We are planning to by some devices soon for testing and then we’ll make it compatible. In the mean time you may need to attempt to fix it yourself.

Thank you for your reply, I have tried doing what you have suggested with no luck. So I checked your Theme preview site on the iPhone and all works great so it must be a something I have done. Can I ask… Does it not show on all of your 3 pages? Does it work if the footer is set to fixed position?

Assume this theme allows users to incorporate their own background photos versus the ones shown in the demo site? If so, what is the recommended size/resolution of photos used?

Yes, of course. These images are for example purposes.
Images:Upload your background image(s). We recommended 1920px wide by 1080px high with a file size of under 500kB.
Video: Videos will be scaled to fit full screen, just like watching in full screen mode in YouTube etc. The larger the video resolution the better the quality, but loading time will increase of course. We have also given an example of a SD (standard definition) video and an HD (High definition) video on the preview site. There is no definitive answer really, both Vimeo and YouTube are optimized for web anyway.

Last question before I purchase, for the portfolio, is it possible to have the portfolio picture in the grid click through to a portfolio page with an actual text description, maybe more pictures, etc???
Yes, when creating the portfolio items, in the metabox settings, choose Type: Portfolio instead of Image and they’ll link to the portfolio item single page view.

What a beautiful theme. You mentioned that the video backgrounds won’t play on iPhone/iPad because it’s flash. What happens if I set the background to be a video and the site gets viewed on an iPad? Is the background just blank/black or can the browser detect the viewer’s platform and then re-direct the user to another site where there is a photo background instead? Or even smarter changes the background to a photo instead? I hope my question makes sense.
It would take a minor code change to the JavaScript to detect an iPhone/iPad and load background images instead, let me know if you purchase and I’ll send you the code.

Will purchase, just one question… for the portfolio items, can you have a portfolio item that is an mp3 instead of video???
It’s not possible to have it an mp3 file itself, but if you have a Flash .swf file that can play mp3 files you can set the Video URL in the portfolio as the path to the .swf

If you go to the theme options panel, Contact -> General and at the bottom choose the contact form for the “Contact page template form”, it will then display this form on the left hand side of the page.

I’m planning on buying this theme and use it as a project portfolio but I need these questions answered please:
1) Is there a way to create an “ABOUT” similar to the one in the previous STORM TEMPLATE ??
2) Can all that “BLOG” features on every page be taken out? And look like a normal page?
3) Can you develop different galleries for individual projects??And can the images in the different types of galleries have captions

1. Yes, just create a page in WordPress and set the layout to “Full Width” in the page metabox options.
2. Yes, you can remove anything you don’t need.
3. Yes there is a portfolio category system, so you can categorize each portfolio item for different projects. Then when displaying the portfolio items with the shortcode you can choose to display only items in a chosen category. Captions are possible on all images.

There is no Portfolio – Colorbox Portfolio – Pretty photo
Yes, they all pretty much do the same thing, so we decided to stick with just one. It is a luxury you can afford with an HTML template because it’s simple to include different scripts on different pages. It becomes a lot more complicated in WordPress, especially if you want to achieve good page loading times.

If you mean does it show the photo information like the gallery on that site? No, you need to manually type the caption for each image.

1 – What is the difference between the Gallery and the Portfolio?
2 – I have read your guide “Setting up a portfolio” and I could not set a Portfolio. How do you set up a portfolio?
3 – Can you make a video guide to fit into your YouTube page?
1. The portfolio system uses posts that you create by going to Portfolio -> Add Item, you can set it to show images or videos and have text content. The gallery (I assume you are referring to Galleria) displays images in a gallery, you add the list of images when adding the shortcode.
2. I can’t write here a better description that what is contained in the documentation. What part are you struggling with?

1. It probably doesn’t work flawlessly, the Vimeo player uses Flash so that wouldn’t work at all. Unfortunately I don’t have a device to test on. It’s not going to be easy to make all parts of the theme work perfectly on all devices due to it’s nature, but we will definitely try hard to make it compatible going forward.
2. Yes you can set these in the page metabox options.
3. Yes, I don’t see why not, although not tested.
4. Yes it is widget enabled.
