Hi @ infotechgr , Just to be clear, it’s the policy directly from Google but not something that we control. Google have changed its policies about Google maps and location Autocomplete Feature. You need to create a Google billing account to pay to utilize google maps and Autocomplete features.. You may check your own from here : get started :https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key
Make sure to enable these API’s to run Google Maps and Autocomplete Suggestions:Directions API Geocoding API Maps Javascript API Places API
After that add Google API key in : Dashboard / Foodbakery settings / API settings / Google / Add Google API key

This is pre-purchase question.
For the Foodbakery(Single Restaurant) page, It is all good in desktop version, perfect.
But for the mobile layout is there an anyway to make food category on top whether I scrolling or not?(or make sticker header so customer can always see and select category on the top?
Also is there an anyway to make a sticky order box at footer?(or at least show total price at sticky bottom?)

Hi @ dokdousa , Auto print order feature is not available. By default A4 page size invoice can be printed on relative printers that supports that format. Order’s receipt can be printed manually whenever restaurant user needs via his own dashboard. You can enlist developer’s help for custom work further.

I have several questions. 1. How can I import an excel listing in a specific restaurant or insert into the database for mass import? There are restaurants that have more than 1000 dishes. 2. is this plugin really ready to index dishes and products? It seems like when you have 400 dishes the system slows down a lot and it stays very slow when I want to add. I am using a very good quality hosting, so it is not a problem of resources, I blame it on how you insert the products to the restaurant.
Hi @ aristidesdpr , Well, Foodbakery theme has no limitations of data since its using WordPress default database tables to store all data, it all depend upon how much server resources do you have to handle records. Ask your hosting provider to upgrade these configs to avoid any trouble while saving and updating records.

Ok thanks I have hired an amazon server for the theme and it has improved a lot although I think it lacks optimization when there are many dishes. A query. I need to know how I import the dishes from a file to a restaurant, if you guide me in the structure of internal tables I can develop it or if you tell me it would be a step forward to import all the dishes of the clients from a csv or excel file
Import option is not given in theme. You can enlist developer’s help to create a new importer for such purpose.

hi, I have 3 problems:
1 – I can’t translate the Foodbakery Framework , when I create the template, Loco Translate plugin sand me the message “Invalid POT file: cs-frame.pot”
2 – Is it possible to receive booking even if the restaurant is closed?
3 – Is it possible to switch from the US time system (10:00 am – 10:00 pm) to the european one (10:00 – 22:00)?

1. This is due to the non-compatibility issue with latest version of Wordpress. This will be coming set in upcoming theme version update : Version 1.9
2. No user will have to login before placing booking.
3. By default Time zone is set to UTC+0 and you can modify it as per your requirements via code customization.

can you some light on it how did you added ? We dont recommend any option and third party json some where from theme to import.
Since as per developer update once php.ini configs will be set and menu items will be added from foodbakery theme it will cause no trouble.

We have carried out infinite insertion tests 1 to 1 almost 2 days to put the client’s letter, in the end we have made an insert decoding the json but with the same result it is not the import although the goals directly passes the same subject. I still believe that the problem is that you encode and decode each item and here comes the slowness, the system is not prepared, much less
you already have the php ini settings and still have the same result . This is a big problem for us since we cannot support the client with this system, in the end we will have to develop a menu front constructor that allows us to do a simple and quick insertion of products without having to serialize and deserialize the dom causing tiresome returns. We have detected that your plugin does not run server services, but renders the items on the clients’ PCs, causing long delays in displaying a letter with products already entered. Also, each time you insert a letter, it slows down, causing the browser to become overloaded and it is practically unfeasible to modify a letter with many items, since it deserializes each one, reloading all the parameters. This in a letter with 50 products is not a problem but as you are getting the system is lethal! . However, the process of displaying the letter from the client side is fully operational and without delay. as it should be. So you have the problem in the insert from the administrator panel of each restaurant. in addition to many other errors, the system for example does not admit characters () if you use them in categories or subcategories, it remains hung with an internal error and without attending to the requests of the server.
As per direct developer update now, There is no restriction at theme end since theme is directly using WordPress database tables to store its data and options.
So its advised to remove all items that are imported via some third party method and start adding from the custom post type as given in theme. You will not face any trouble. Thanks
We are good beta testers, I think it would be beneficial for both of us to solve this problem since it is a good system but we have found a thousand errors that we can share with you to make this plugin a wonderful system.
we have already done that as I have told you with the same result we have put 1500 items and it does not work correctly inserted by hand one by one
we have provided the data create a profile and check it directly
I appreciate your findings but when you tried your configs in php.ini was poor. Now i advise to check and add to test it all again and let me know if still any trouble remains i will be glad to get this checked. Thanks

Hello to see that we did not receive any improvement from you, we have put ourselves to work and we have discovered countless bugs in the system. The most important one that causes slowness is that you do the foreich of the allergen products one by one and call the function from the other, with which the collapse system only works with 200 products. We have even seen a comment there saying that it is deactivated that causes a malfunction. We have already solved it as well as almost 25 major bugs in the system. I think that for 1 restaurant well but as a directory it leaves a lot to be desired the concept is very good but really when you load a menu with 500 items it is unstable also a fatal error you cannot reassign a product to another category it is automatically deleted. We have put a thousand improvements as just a button to save since many times if you did not give both you kept all the lost work. The truth is that I have not felt correctly with the support even though it is expired. Truly inexplicable. Good luck with everything. 18 Days AGO!
As far as improvements are concerned our team already prepared a huge update that will be released soon with many new features and improvements.
No importer option is given in theme for menu builder, so you can contact any developer to create an importer on your request so that it could work fine. Adding menu items via any third party import with out making it compatible will cause issues and not supported as well.
