Seems like it does work, but it take a long time to load the change. It loads first on your other pages, not the homepage.
Also, is there anyway we can centre the logo in the header?

I have a few requests for next version: - more background Patterns. - can you please add on social couter widget the users instead or beside the feedburner counts?? Im talking about the users roles… lets say that I have 2000 user under the role of suscribers… to display them… and also the admins, or others roles on the system… - jetpack compatible - maybe an integration with bbpress and buddypress in the future will be nice…. that is for now… beside this is an excellent theme…

Problem is resolved after removing the social media widget and wp_pagenavi pluggins from the wp-content folder.

I was able to install the them, but when I try to do a live preview or activate it, I get the following error:

I’m having no luck at all with this theme. Your installation instructions are incorrect, but I figured that out (you have to install the zip file within the other folders). I set my cache folder to 777, even though that’s an insecure practice that is making me very uncomfortable.
Then I followed to the letter your instructions for uploading a new logo and favicon, and it just ignores them. I have the latest Wordpress and all that, and a lot of experience working with themes. This shouldn’t be difficult.
I’m also unhappy that the Social Counter widget won’t work for me, as it was one of the things that most attracted me to the theme.
I’m sorry this is so critical. I would have contacted you privately, but I can’t find a way to do that.
When I install the theme I get this error – Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_theme() in /home/*/public_html/**.com/wp-content/themes/sahifa/panel/notifier/update-notifier.php on line 19
It only shows up when I am logged into the site. If I am not logged in, no error shows, but when I am logged in I can’t do anything, the login page shows that error and the error is also shown on the homepage at the footer.

I use feedblitz, but the actual address is essentially the same as the MyBrand for Feedblitz. Like, http://feeds.mydomain.com/mydomain.

- You can upload logo with any size but the max width recommended is 220px or less . - to enable top banner .. from Tiepanel click on Banners Settings then in the ‘Top Banner Area’ block just enable it and upload your image and set other options as you want
No, still need help. I put up the sahia .zip file only, not the whole zip file I got now it does not work. I can’t activate it or preview it. I really need help.

download Sahifa.zip file from themeforest then unzip it you will folder containing some folder and ‘sahifa.zip’ .. then go to your wp dashboard click on ‘install themes’ then click on upload and upload ‘sahifa.zip’ file .. if it doesn’t work try to upload it by your cpanel and extract it in wp-content folder then activate the theme from wp dashboard

Thank you again. I figured out the menus. First I need to add the pages, then the menus…thaaaaa! I like figuring out simple things alone, that way I keep my brain thinking the way it should. Really nice theme.

I did not check to see if my folder had chmood 777, but my hosting company says that is not secure. Is it absolutely necessary, that makes me nervous?

- you need cache folder only when you active resizing image by timthumb script .. or use built in functionality of Wordpress and that is recommended - I cam’t understand your second question .
by the way great theme. needs some more styling options but other then that its the best theme i have had the honor of hacking to fit my needs…Thanks

Issued appears to be resolved. I am a newby at this and needed a little coaching.
OK, I put in a support ticket. Found out I needed to unzip the zip first and just upload the sahifa foldere with the right stuff. DONE . I will now try to activate it to see what it looks like.
I do love this theme, I think it is great. Just need to get it uploaded. I am trying to upload it from the desktop of my computer. But, cannot.
I purchased this theme. When I tried to upload it in dashboard, using install, upload .zip, I get,
Unpacking the package… Installing the theme… The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet. Theme install failed. Questions—-could it be my admin panel doing this? I bought this theme and I want my moneys worth. I want to use the them, any other suggestions.

First of all, congratulations on the amazing theme. I’m really loving it! However, I have a request for a future update that might be useful to others as well.
As an admin, I often upload other authors’ posts. This doesn’t seem to be possible with the current version of Sahifa. I used to use a theme that allowed me to change a post’s author through a dropdown list. Some themes allow this on the sidebar while editing the post, while others allow it in the “Quick Edit” section under “All Posts.” I hope this is possible. Let me know. Thank you!

this feature built in Wordpress itself not theme .. to activate it .. in post edit page click on ’ Screen options ’ on the top then check author .. and it will appear in your page
Thanks for your reply, but it’s actually not what I meant.
What I am looking for is to change an author. Let’s say I log in as admin. Then I publish a post, but this post was written by John. I want to be able to change to post author to John, or Robert, or Sam or anyone else that wrote the post but does not have access to my website.
The way it is now, only if John logs in and publishes a post, then the post author will be John. Otherwise, it will be admin.
Let me know if I’m not being clear.

My bad, I just realized I had several users signed up as subscribers, that’s why I wasn’t getting the option to change authors. Once they are signed as authors, that does the trick.
Sometimes the most obvious solutions are right in front of our eyes.
Also, I use an Android phone and I can’t get the dropdown menus (in the live preview) to work at all in either Chrome for Android or the stock Android browser.
Please send me a screenshot for problem to check it and solve it in the next version

- How do the slides in the slider get picked? Category, tag, or manual?
- Does this theme work well with WP Super Cache?
