On the first problem with the slider transition times I got it figured out (it was a cache problem).

hello, I bought your theme and installed this morning. For the most part everything has went very well.

I have a couple of bugs to report.

First in Safari (at least version 6.0) the slider does not obey the set time and animation rules set in the TiePanel. You can see what I’m talking about at my site http://t3kd.com . The slide duration is set to 7000 but some slides advance faster than others. Seems to only happen in safari.

second, for some very odd reason ever time the slider changes to a new slide the text under the recent posts module (the titles of the posts) blinks. It dims and then goes back to normal once the slide has transitioned. This happens at least in both Safari and Chrome on the Mac. Haven’t tested it elsewhere. (again you can see this on my site)

Also, when in portrait mode on an iPad, the menu should go to the dropdown if there are too many menu items. Otherwise it looks like this: http://cl.ly/image/3e3P0s1I1G31

Theme does not function well with Livefyre comments. Works fine with Disqus though, so not a big deal.

According you, is possible improve the SEO functions of theme? It seems, that there isn’t H1 on the Homepage, it is very useful for the indexed on search engines.

And, don’t you believe that is better assign H4 (instead H3) on Widget Title’s?

I saw that post-titles in the news block, has already the h3. In this way, when an user write a post, can use in the text H2 or H3 for paragraph.

In the Homepage, perhaps, a good idea, can be that to assign the H1 at the Category-Titles; What do you think?

As I’m doing this migration, I also installed All-in-One Event Calendar (by Timely). I realize that there is some kind of conflict as at the moment you activate the plugin, all Sahida widgets doesn’t work anymore on other page than the homepage. Don’t yet know why, bu it was worthy to share it

Hello great themes, with some adjustments have already implemented and running on our site http://www.fanaticosdelrally.com On this I wanted to comment that when you insert youtube videos as url, these are very large and outside the framework of the column. http://www.fanaticosdelrally.com/2012/08/22/martin-prokop-se-prepara-para-alemania-video/ . Another thing is how to center the ads inserted with the module on the homepage. Also the buttons on twitter, facebook, etc at the end of the post does not show complete totals shared. And finally after installing the themes when searching content in the Gallery, the result is always nothing now. Thanks!

I can’t get a feed for Feedburner. Every time I try to set one up, it says

The URL does not appear to reference a valid XML file. We encountered the following problem: Unknown feed format encountered (The root element is [Element: <html [Namespace: http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml]/>])

No, the images upload just fine – they’re visible in the media library, but your Tie panel isn’t attaching them to anything. Your attitude toward a paying customer is inexcusable.

That said, I really like the theme otherwise so I’ve decided to work around it by replacing your images with my own via FTP .

I’ve encountered another problem. In the Typography section, you have two slots for changing the H3 header fonts, but no h2. I want to change H2, and I tried both the H3 slots in case one of them was actually coded to H2 and it was just a typo in the panel. Neither of them change H2. I assume that’s something you’ll need to fix in an update, but in the meantime, do you know of a workaround? I added a class to the custom CSS box, but it didn’t help.

Where should I add my own custom functions?

...and more than 100 very similar themes have worked just fine for me over the years. There is definitely something wrong, and you made no offer of support. Maybe if you had, you would have discovered the problem and fixed it, and we’d all have been happy. But you just ignored my problem. I made sure to mention that in my ticket to Envato.

ETA : I spent 4 HOURS trying to get your theme to work yesterday. It’s not like I didn’t make an effort.

ETA2 : I just tested it in another hosting environment. It still won’t accept the custom logo. I’ve followed the instructions exactly, and also tried other things, and it just does not work. Maybe the other 100 people just used the text option, or gave up and replaced the file it DOES accept with their logo.

This theme does NOT work, everyone. It will not accept a new header image or favicon. It also requires a folder to be set to CHMOD 777 , which is an insecure practice that’s inviting hackers to harm your site.

However, I tried installing it and got a blank page only.. Firebug tells me the following:

“The character encoding of the HTML document was not declared. The document will render with garbled text in some browser configurations if the document contains characters from outside the US-ASCII range. The character encoding of the page must to be declared in the document or in the transfer protocol.”

I’m not a code wizard, what went wrong?
