Hi there,
Firstly I love this theme and really want to use it but I was just curious if there was any way of putting a “quick contact form” in the top section of the homepage and also potentially in the footer? This is fairly crucial as it’s a proven way of converting gym leads.

Hi,
In live preview page on the home page you can see 3 boxes (white & 2 green). They are placed in widget area, so you can place there any other widget such as contact form. The same solution is implemented in the footer (you can use there 2 widget areas).

Is it possible to add 2 or more trainers to a single class? (for example Classes -> Boxing -> trainers, and add 3 trainers there??? )

Yes, it’s possible. Just hold ‘ctrl’ keyboard key when selecting trainers from ‘Trainers’ list under ‘Options’ box on class add/edit page.

I activated your theme and attempted to customize it but it seems to be not be working properly for me. When activated, nothing came up except a blank screen, I added my logo and that appeared but nothing else—I had to manually select what I wanted in the menu, etc. Is there a “how to” guide available?

Another question about using the template. I’m setting up a site for a client who has four gyms. In order to keep the timetable readable I’m making a timetable for every gym. So far so good.
However, the classes in each timetable refer back to a particular class but I can only make one ‘classes’: when I make different classes for every gym, they link back to a classes page where ALL classes from every gym are listed. I just want the link to refer back to the classes of that particular gym.
Is that possible?

It’s not possible. I can prepare for as a custom job you categories for classes, so you’ll be able to display on the page just classes from certain categories. Let me know if you’re interested.

I can’t seem to find the breadcrumb text ‘You are here ->’ in the default.po file…?
Sorry, that’s a bug. Please change it in page.php file.
Okay, changed it in page.php but it affects the ‘you are here’ text on the classes page.
Also, I changed the default.po file, translated certain entries, saved as ‘nl_NL.po’ and uploaded it to the site. Changed the wp-config.php to ‘nl_NL’ but nothing happens.
That will affect all pages with ‘Default template’. As classes page using default template it’s affected too.
About languages seems like you did everything right and that should work. It’s hard to say what’s wrong. Please let me know if you find solution for that and tell me what causes the issue.

You’ll also need to make that change in template-full-width.php file and template-blog.php file. I’ll add that phrase to .po file in next version.

Okay, tried editing the default.po file directly in Flow (ftp application for Mac), translated several ‘text in function’ entries into Dutch but no luck. Could it be that this also is dependant on ‘default template’, ‘full-width template’,...?
Please try to use Poedit application for that.
The result should be the same, no?
After you’ll save changes with that application, it’ll also generate .mo file. Please replace both .po and .mo then.

In languages/default.po file. You can also create another language file, please check documentation/index.html file to find out how to do that.

Firstly, GREAT template!! Thanks a lot!! I’ve been waiting for a project to work on where I can use it since I first saw it appear, and glad i’ve finally got one!
Just a question – with regards to the timetable – I am creating the website for a childrens activity club and they only have activities in the morning. Is there a way to change the timetable times so rather than it showing it in hourly sections on the main timetable (eg: 10:00 – 11:00) that maybe it shows it in 15min or 30 min sections (eg: 10:00 – 10:15 (OR) 10:00 – 10:30). At the moment it looks a bit squashed on my version as all the classes as fitting within just a few of the sections, whereas if I can change it to smaller gaps it can spread out more and look better. Does that make sense?

About timetable it not possible to have 15 min sections, it can only work in 1h sections way. If you’re interested I can make some modifications of that as a custom job.
Whats the best way to upgrade to v3.0?
You need to download theme again, remove previus version and install new one. As I can see v3.0 is still waiting to be approved.

Just a pre-sales question. Does your theme support 2nd level drop downs? That is, after the drop down the next level appears to the right of the drop down?
Also on the homepage slider is it possible to put in videos? Also is it possible to have a gallery that isn’t the full width of the page?

It’s possible to add 2nd level drop down menu, but there isn’t any styles for 2nd level.
For now you can’t put videos in slider. About gallery, you can use any width, you can simply change it in css styles.

1. I’m placing text on pages, however I’m not getting any regular WordPress pagination. I’m having to press the retum key a few times to separate paragraphs. How do I modify this using the custom.css?
2. Also, do you have any line Horizontal Rule or divider shortcodes?
3. You Tube and Vimeo videos widths are not resizing properly on iphone. Do you have a solution?

3. Works for me. Could you describe that more detailed? In what kind of situation?
When I click Upload/Insert on most pages (ie., the editor on Pages, Trainers, Gallery, etc.), nothing happens…so I can’t insert media on most pages. Also it goes to a new page when I click the Set Featured Image link. These should go to a popup I presume.
The popup frame works correctly in the Gymbase options for things like Logo url, slider images, etc.
Which version of theme do you have? Please update to the newest (v2.0).

We found a problem or just a wrong setting for wordpress.
When jou click in the timetable on a individual class the page is not found (404 error).
The url is classes/#cardio-fitness
Do we heave a special setting for permalinks?

Please try ‘Post name’ permalinks setting. If you’re using another structure, then you’ll need to change/set ‘classes_url’ attribute of [timetable] shortcode. Please put in it the url of your ‘Classes’ page.
