No, Elementor PRO is not a dependency for Rey, however it’s a really powerful and overall great piece of software, so if you’re thinking if you should purchase too, it is worth the money. But like i said, it’s not mandatory to use Rey with Elementor PRO.

This is possible but it’s a WooCommerce option rather than Rey. You can try accessing WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory > and check Hide out of stock items from the catalog eg: https://d.pr/i/qQGKBW .

Thanks, however this will hide all the empty ones on the whole site. I need to still show the sold ones on the shop pages. (I have already got the shop setup to use the in stock only filter on the links) The site sells antique items and likes to show the sold ones. I only need to hide the out-of-stock ones for the homepage.

I do have noted to make a new Checkout layout with lots of customisation options, but it might take a while.
For the moment i suggest building and publishing a Generic Global section there. Please use this code here https://d.pr/n/Ipfp4b and paste it into the child theme’s functions.php and make sure to replace the ID with the one you created. You can basically publish everything you want.
Onto the description text, please use the code here https://d.pr/n/NxmdCN . I will also add a custom text input in the Customizer options to override the title.

Kudos to the author its a really really great theme but we NEED to fix how the review block looks on the theme, it looks a bit too bulky and outdated. Is there anyway to get it looking like the amazon reviews? It needs to look modern and readable. For starters how can I shrink the width of the review section and remove the borders around the comments?

Ok great! I have already tried some plugins which are great such as Yith Advance reviews, i’m currently using it, but it doesn’t show as it should , you can check it out maybe you can do some quick fixes to have it shown properly. Its a good start.

I hope this is the last question. I translated the theme from English into another language. when I update my Rey Core plugin some translations also change to Search Cart panel and from My account. I have installed Child theme
So if i understood correctly, the translations were lost after the update? Do you remember how were the translations saved in Loco Translate?
The idea is not to store the translation into the plugin or theme, but instead in the wp-content/languages/ folder or to choose System location eg: https://d.pr/i/334x2w.

This way I want to inform you of a ‘bug’ in the Rey theme. Everytime I do the Rey plugin update, some translation fields are back in the original language (being English). All these labels are in the shopping bag and during the checkout.

This doesn’t seem like a bug, and instead seems more like the translation file was added inside Rey Core plugin folder, which was overwritten on the update.
How was the translation made? With Loco translate? If so, make sure in the translation settings, you choose to place the files in /wp-content/languages/ folder, not elsewhere.

On the checkout page, the product area takes up almost 3/4 of the space, is there anyway i can change it so its only about 1/4th of the space?

Also on the wishlist area, none of the products are actually clickable? how are they meant to click back into the products?

Onto the wishlist, just looked through the TI Wishlist plugin code and found that there’s a check for `$product->is_visible()` which returns false even though it is. Seems to me like it’s a bug. I posted a new thread here https://wordpress.org/support/topic/product-thumbnail-and-title-not-wrapped-in-links/ and they’ll take a look as soon as possible.

The color variation swatches in catalog is an existing feature (visit https://demos.reytheme.com/london/shop/ eg: https://d.pr/i/UmLVTd ), however there isn’t any way of showing sizes too. I intentionally didn’t made it because showing variation attributes in the catalog is a performance consumer, and in my opinion, there’s no benefit in actual presentation, and instead a “buying” utility.
So instead i added another feature option called “Ajax show variations”, which upon clicking on “Select options” button, it’ll open a small popup eg: https://d.pr/v/m8rGfm , and shows all variation options instead.

If you’re running the latest Rey version, you can find an option in Customizer > WooCommerce > Product page – Tabs panel , called Spec. position eg: https://d.pr/i/S4lcPD and you can move it in the summary.

Hey, grats on the great theme. It honestly is a fantastic theme, quick question, how do we change the checkout page logo in distraction-free mode? We have a white logo and as you can imagine a white on white logo doesnt work haha.

Not sure what you mean by product summary. You mean the product short description in products eg: https://d.pr/i/kOWyGc . If so, you can access Customizer > WooCommerce > Product catalog – Components and look for Short description and disable it.

Maybe this article helps https://support.reytheme.com/kb/how-to-add-mega-menu-panels/ . You can build the mega menu content with Elementor elements, and amongst them, images too. Also, you should be able to assign the mega menu panel to any 1st level menu item within the main menu, regardless of demo.
