Dear Diabolique, I sent an email a few days ago regarding issues with ssl certificate. The ssl certificate works fine on opencart default template, but when I switch to Gecco Shop template the lock does not show. I had spent hours trying to figure out the issue. The lock does not show because some pages are not secured, please visit my website and see it for yourself. You can see unsecured page on Google chrome Ctrl+Shift+J you will see that many pages are unsecured.(For example: [blocked] The page at https://www.xxxxx.co/index.php?route=account/login ran insecure content from http://s7.addthis.com/js/250/addthis_widget.js. The page at https://www.xxxxx.co/index.php?route=account/login displayed insecure content from http://www.xxxxx.co/image/data/main.png.

The main background link, it is not secured too. and others. These links are causing the issue with ssl certificate lock.
Administration section works fine. Please get my website from the email I sent you, a couple of days ago and take a look.Please fix the security issues.

Most buyers and me don’t have SSL certificate so when I replace http for https then background image won’t be visible. I can’t include image to purchased pack so each buyer has to replace http to https self.

I am also having the same problem of states not showing in register pages only shows in guest checkout. running 1.5.3.1 and using v1.0.1 of template.
There is a newer version of theme for opencart 1.5.3.1 in the folder called: “Theme for the latest OpenCart v1.5.3-v1.5.3.1”
So you should download again purchased file and reupload all theme files.

One more question. Got some problem with localisation. Website in question is at http://193.106.107.64. I’ve installed translation, currencies, changed the font Geosans itp. Make sure that saved all files in UTF8 but cant see polish glyphs as desired. When inspecting with firebug it even show as it should be using Georgia font. Therefore I don’t understand why this is happening – any idea?

I’ve used HTML for now, but it will be trouble to use this method permanently.
I’m talking about UTF -8 entities, not files. You can find automatic on-line UTF -8 encoders.

Hello Diabolique, I’m needing some help from you about your theme. When I go into a category there’s 6 lines showing 3 products each, but on the third line it shows only 2 products and on the sixth line, it shows only 1 products. What could it be?
Hello, It was fixed months ago. Probably you are using old version of this theme.
There should be increased width to 638px for 1 selector in the stylesheet.css:
#products-listing { width:638px; }
Hum, in fact it’s already set to 638px in the stylesheet.css #products-listing { width:638px; }
Try to increase width, if it won’t help then you would like to see HTML code.

Can you just confirm the following before we purchase: - The theme is fully multi-language (we will want to offer content and products in German and English) without the need to purchase add-ons to OpenCart. All content can be replicated and navigated in the three languages through manual translations. - Multiple currencies are supported – $, £ and Euro?

This theme has graphic buttons, so you have to add additional css class for buttons and when user will click on German flag then web browser will load different button in German language.
You can have many different currencies.
You don’t need any external add-ons.

You have removed “header-background” div but you didn’t remove closing div for “header-background”. Check w3c validator.

Hello Diabolique, I’m having other issue here, because I plan to use a multi-language store and when I change from english to french some letters do not appear or appear with strange symbols. I’ve read the section “VII. Do not see some font glyphs?” on Help file and I did what you recommended, but gave no results on both themes, this one and the Aight theme. Could you give some help with this? Thank you!

Installation instructions state: Upload/replace “catalog” folder into main folder of your OpenCart installation, do not remove anything on your server.
So could you clarify whether we are: a) deleting and replacing entire default catalog folder with Gecco copy or b) Going into default catalog folder, then only replacing controller & view sub-folders and leaving the other 2 sub-folders (language & model) intact.
I ask because after trying to install Gecco, my storefront view went blank. Working on a MacBook using Fetch FTP client. Thanks!

If you are uploading files using Mac then you have to replace each single file manually (except ‘geccoshop’ folder).
Also upload whole “catalog” folder from opencart folder first if your storefront is blank.
