Podcast demo import keeps failing even know PHP Time Limit is high enough and all Server Environment data is in the green. Also, Keeps installing double of everything after I try to import again after the fail.

To avoid duplicate content, you must uninstall a demo (even partially imported one) before you install it again.
If the regular demo import method fails for you, you can try the alternate demo import method instead.

Would be happy to submit support ticket but it’s expired. I tried alternate method as well and it imports to 100% using All in One Import plugin and it just freezes at 100% and does not import… Basically the Podcast demo is doomed. Other demos worked fine.

If you are having issue with the alternate import method then please check your console for error (right click and inspect element). If you see ajax errors, the try disabling third party plugins (except the one needed for the demo import) and increasing the WP memory. If the issue persists, please contact your host above the error. The all in one migration import, if affected would be due to the issues with site (as this is not a plugin authored by Avada)

If you need to add external URLs then you can use the default WordPress Audio Shortcode in a text block. For details, please see: https://wordpress.org/support/article/audio-shortcode/
To offer external download links, I’m afraid our Audio element doesn’t offer such an option. For this, you can add add a button/link manually after the audio element or use a 3rd party audio embed plugin for WordPress instead.

Please try uploading Avada again and also re-install our two fusion plugins to see if it helps. If you still see the 500 error, it might be a server configuration issue or perhaps a conflict with some other module like a 3rd party plugin. You can ask the hosting company to ensure the PHP memory limit is at least 128MB and also test with just our two fusion plugins to see if that helps.

I am having an issue with the tabs and Slider Revolution. I have two tabs, tab 1 – titled “Tour our Amenities” and tab 2 titled, “Tour Our Model Homes” on each tab I have a Revolution Slider on each one. When I go to the page tab 1 “Tour Our Amenities shows up but when I click on tab 2 “Tour our Model Homes” I don’t see the images load. I reached out to Slider Revolution first and they looked at it and now they are saying its the theme not rendering the images. Hello, i am using AVADA theme, and i cannot fully install “creative” DEMO. once i click install, theme installing without menus. I Could not make a tick on section “all” Afterwards i am trying to remove DEMO, it only shows that process is running, but nothing happens..

Goodmorning, I have 4 columns, they all contain different elements and 1 button. The buttons are on different heights now. Is it possible to get them in 1 line? They are in 4 different columns so I can’t use nested columns. They are all suppose to be in the bottom of their column. Thanks, Irene

self hosted videos don’t support .mov?? Nobody has ever even heard of .webm…not sure why that is even an option.

The .mov format container is primary used on Apple devices and isn’t used widely by many browsers. Apple itself now uses .MP4 primarily. You can use .mp4 and that should work on majority of the browsers without issues.
Webm has been around for 10 years and is supported by all 4 major browsers, including Safari so that’s a safe web friendly format to use as well.

I’ve used used a camera or software that formats webm…maybe it’s a European thing. Anywho, I found an online converter that can make .mov into .mp4. You guys should consider adding .mov as an option in the list for self hosted videos. They’re larger in file size but you get better quality audio and HD from them.

The images there are inserted as our Image Element with the ‘lift up’ hover effect enabled in the Image Element settings. You can create an Image Element on a test page – then right click on it, select ‘copy’ and then paste it into a text widget for one of your megamenus. If I change the height of the main menu the drop down menu is not close to the main menu anymore but it appears a lot lower. Can I change this distance between main menu and drop down menu?

I’m running WP 5.4.2 on an old server where PHP is at max 7.1.11. Can I use Avada on it? Maybe even without the builder? I mean, is there any solution?!

we recommend PHP Version 7.3 or higher and same goes for WordPress in general, however you should be able to run Avada on 7.1.1 as well but we recommend you to update for future compatibility

1) There is no native option to add a Catpcha to the blog posts (comment section). However we can use a plugin for this
2) If you mean this for the contact form 7 plugin, then the plugin does offer an option to integrate reCAPTCHA into the form submission

I am planning to purchase Avada to revamp my existing wordpress website. I have a couple of pre-sales questions and I was hoping if you could assist me with that.
1: I read a few comments from your side that Avada comes bundled with an AMP plugin however I couldn’t find any official documentation or reference or mention about AMP in the sales page or on your website. Can you please confirm does it come bundled with it? Can we have separate designs and layouts configured for AMP pages?
2: Does Avada support Ultimate Membership Pro?
3: Does Avada support Learndash or any other wordpress LMS?
4: Does Avada have any built in Rest-API system to connect with Zapier etc or is it compatible with any third-party plugin that does this function?
5: Can I use the same license on my staging site and Live/Production site at the same time or should I be de-registering one site, register on the other one and keep alternating with both the environment that I am working on?

1- Avada doesn’t come with an AMP plugin. You can use any popular AMP plugin for WordPress and they should work without issues.
2 & 3 – We haven’t officially tested those plugins so we cannot confirm compatibility with those plugins. I’ve seen some of our users use LearnDash though. You can give both of those plugins a shot as most plugins should work without issues. If there are issues though, I’d recommend talking to the plugin developers.
4- You can use WP-CLI for auto updates (although that doesn’t work with our patcher-sytem). Other than that we haven’t tested any other system like Zapier officially.
5- Yes, you can keep the same copy of Avada on your staging/dev site as you’re working on the site. Once you’re done with your development, you can then remove Avada from the development/staging site.
You need additional licenses though if you need to run Avada on more than one live/production site.
