Hi, you store isn’t running Journal 3, that’s an older version of Journal 2 and it’s working fine in our testing.

Hi, that’s not something theme related, check your ftp client, server, internet connection, there could be a lot of reasons but none of them are theme related. If you want, file a ticket on our support page and we’ll help you update Journal to the latest version.

I uploaded the new update to a development site yesterday. Today I’m getting a 500 server error with the following being generated in my error logs every few mins (despite no activity on the site)...

I tried increasing memory limits. It didn’t help.

Hi, consider disabling Image Compress in Journal > System > Settings > Performance, maybe php memory_limit is not enough to handle cwebp compression.

Hi, you can try creating a Blocks module in Journal > Modules > Blocks, with the content set to Product Review (Auto Layout).
You then add this module into an extra module, Journal > Product Extras > Extra Modules… This module can be positioned in the Quickview Details (or Quickview Bottom).

No, I mean not in quickview. But in the product page only. Where clicking on a button or link would open the reviews in a popup. Is this possible?
Don’t think so, but you can try to add that Blocks module in a Popup, then have that triggered from a button in the product page.
These “Auto Layout” content types only appear on product pages (or quickviews).

That is not editable unfortunately, it’s a default Opencart setting, might need core code changes, please refer to the official forum.

Hi, please consult with your hosting provider and ask them to enable escapeshellarg function in php, otherwise disable webp support from Journal > System > Settings > Performance in order to not see the error anymore. Hi, i contacted admin server to solve the problem, they said i needed enable CageFS to enable the escapeshellarg function, but i am disabling CageFS to use OptiPNG and jpegoptim, if enable CageFS then OptiPNG and jpegoptim will not work.
I have refreshed all the links on the site by manually and no more errors, but I don’t know this error will again???

Hi, as we’ve explained above, this is not something theme related, that’s a hosting related compatibility issue, some hostings have restrictions, either way, consider disabling Image Compress in Journal > System > Settings > Performance if you still have issues.

I noticed the main menu now has a lag when you hover over it, it will take about 2 seconds for the sub menu to appear, is this a bug or a new feature, if so how do I get instant reaction?

Product option extras, when turning push button off, and having select checkbox, it shows a thumbnail image, however there is no spacing with these image on the below, how do I add spacing?
Hi, we’re not familiar with any new delay, there has always been a slight hover intent delay but nothing new, check out our demos.

I have checking it and active style tab is dissapear on mobile menu, only hover exist, but hovering cannot be used. Please don’t delete active style and make it working therefore user know which menu has selected.
The active tab was never meant for that sort of behaviour, that is only for the menus in the accordion module, when it is added on the category layout and the category page you’re on would be highlighted in the side menu.
As for the tap feedback on a link, there should be something in the works, please file a ticket on our support page and consult with our developers about this.

The update killed my cart page.

Also your new update blocks php 7.4. brings up error message. the J3.0.46 doesn’t.
Ignore these message, I stupidly installed the new OPencart before….. which caused no end of trouble, instead of deleting the files, I just overwrite them with the backup, leaving some “new files” from the new opencart behind, which were playing havok with the cart.
Although I do think, your your update shows error for the new PHP, where as it didn’t on the old.
Hi, Opencart does not support PHP 7.4, that’s why we’ve added that message, it’s strongly recommended to not use PHP 7.4 because it will break Opencart.

In that case it is not configurable with available options, unfortunately.
I found several comments that request the cart page to be more mobile friendly and every time the answer was that is not possible without side scrolling. However, this was possible in Journal 2. Hi, it wasn’t possible there either, what you see there are columns hidden so that the overall table is not wide and just fits on that small screen.
You can hide columns with custom code, or limit the product name width and force it to multiple lines, but this is just a subjective approach.
The underlying mechanism is the same. And it’s actually Opencart that uses tables on the cart page, we’re not modifying this underlying code structure, works the same on their official demo too.
