Pre-purchase question – again, sorry! But you have a great theme! Before I migrate across, is it possible (I’m looking at your ‘Category Assignment’ feature) to have the following set up:
1. A listing website for ‘Sports Centres’ across the country (I am giving this as an example) so ‘sports centres’ is the main listing category and focus of the website. But…
2. The website to also have a different set of categories for companies to have profiles but not ‘listed’ on the website itself for the public to search. For example, for sports coaching companies, sports equipment manufacturers, and caterers to sign up and pay monthly fee. Their listings will be hidden and not ‘searchable’ by the public. But, but setting up a profile/listing…
3. These companies can then set up ads and events to appear on certain ‘Sports Centre’ listings
4. But they choose which Sports Centre listings their ads / events appear on, or which search regions they appear in
5. This enables, for example, a sports camp company to market a sports camp at a Sports Centre listing, or
6. A catering company to advertise their services at Sports Centres in a particular region.
If this is not possible ‘out of the box’ with your theme (fingers crossed it might be) – would it be possible to have contact with someone who might be able to help?

1. Such a nice idea!
2. Yes, this could be possible with theme. We have an option in theme which allows you to control the “listing published” on site.
3,4.If their listing is published then they can add Events and Ads for their listings. Then their listing the ads of their listing will be displayed on the ads places. Also the events will be displayed in their listings. And wherever you use the events element.
5. For this you can create coupons for the sports company. Or you can create an announcement for them. On a listing.
6. Nope we are sorry but it’s not possible to advertise in a particular region. For this you have to write custom code in theme files.

Can you please clarify what you mean by “Not listed”? If the listing is not listed or not published then it cannot be searched. There is no MEMBERS ONLY ACCESS feature if that’s what you looking for.
Hi. Thanks for getting back to me. So in the website I stated above, one that is to be a listing for al the Sports Centres across the country, i want people to just be able to search for sports centres, nothing else. But I would like associated businesses (for example, catering companies, holiday camp companies, etc) to be able to advertise their services on a listing or group of listings, but these associated companies are not to be searchable companies on the website.
For example A, if I run a catering company, let’s say ‘Sports Catering Ltd’, and I do a lot of business providing catering for events and sports matches, and I would like to advertise my services on a number of Sports Centres in a particular area in the country. My adverts show up on the listings of these Sports Centres. But my company ‘Sports Catering Ltd’ is not a company that is on the website as a separate listing itself as the website is a listing directory of Sports Centres.
For example B, I might run a holiday camps company called ‘Kids Camps Ltd’, and I run kids holiday camps at some Sports Centres. I would like to be able to have register on the website and have my adverts for my camps at the Sports Centres that I have camps in the holidays. However, my adverts appear on the Sports Centre listings, but my company is not a listing in itself as I am only an associated company (ie I associate with some of the Sports Centre but not a listing – I just want to advertise my camps on the Sports Centre listings).
So when I say ‘not listed’ I mean that I would like companies to be able to advertise on listings but not be a listing on the directory itself. As there is no need for Sports Centres to advertise or promote events or their services on other Sports Centre listing pages – this would not make sense.
Is this possible?

You can have just banners ads for any business to appear in the sidebar of listings and archive page but this will be global not specific listings or category.
But if you want business listing then it will be searchable and then you as admin or business owners can promote their listings by running ad campaigns and they will also appear on top of organic listings or in the sidebar.
For example A & For example B Not exactly possible. only way to is to use banner ads and that also will be global like mentioned above.
So you just want these advertised listing to redirect to an external website and not to a listing details page?
Hi, This is a pre-purchase question, as I am currently with another listing theme but want to migrate over to listingpro. Hello I’m having a problem with the social login that comes integrated with the theme. I debuted in contact with the developers of the plugin and this was the answer they gave me:
The problem on your site happens because your theme, ListingsPro does a custom integration with Nextend Social Login. They’re using fix URLs which normally wouldn’t be a problem, but they’re using the old URLs which Nextend Social Login does not support since 3.0.15, which was released on 2019.01.23, more than a year ago:
https://nextendweb.com/nextend-social-login-docs/changelog/The old URLs like /?loginFacebook=1 were related to the old Nextend Facebook Connect, but Nextend Social Login uses /?loginSocial=facebook.
So the problem on your site is that the legacy parameters which are hardcoded into your theme are no longer supported.
If you’re using the latest version of your theme, you should contact your theme developers and ask them to update their integration, because the legacy code support was removed more than a year ago.
In the meantime, we have a documentation that can help you replace the theme’s buttons with our own:

Nice theme and includes an increadible amount of features, too build a listical. Really a one in all solution!
But one question: Is it possible to filter search results based on what I am viewing on the map? I only can filter and do searches for locations. But when I’m in location a) and location b) is nearby, I only see if i search for a) or b) not, when navigating on the map. This should really be implemented!

Hello I would like to correct some details in the listing:
1.disable the map of the search results pages of the listing
2. enable the location map (via openstreetmap) only on the company page.
3. I sent some test listings, but their location is not appearing on the site’s search engines: I enabled the openstreetmap and selected the search type as auto location by google
4. I would like the customer to register his listing to define his location and category and thus be found in the search engines of the site through both. Is this possible through the default theme settings or is it necessary to make changes to the code?

It looks like listingpro creates 30 copies of same image in the wp-content folder with different images sizes. Also it creates multiple .csv and multiple .xml files for every uploaded file that is used in a blog. It is causing huge issue as server is now running out of space and inodes. Can you let me know why are so many files being created and which are the ones we need so we can delete rest of the unwanted files? What is the easiest way to clean up and to make sure this doesnt happen again? Thanks

Pre-purchase questions:
The website that I am looking to create is for service providers in a particular field. I want to display those service providers in a directory style website. Once a service provider has a listing on the website, i want the visitors to be able to ‘request’ quotes from them. The catch here is that the pricing is always different. The pricing model is similar to getting a quote for Truck Load Transportation from point A to point B.
Can I achieve the following with your theme:
1. Can we have custom buttons/fields in the listings? For example “request a Quote” that way the customer enter their information (from point 2 below) and get a price quote.
2. Is it possible to use API to get price quotes from companies and post the pricing result based on what their API returns. The variables that the customer will enter in the listing page are pickup location, delivery location and type of load. Based on that the company that owns the listing will return a price quote for that load.
3. is it possible to include an iframe in the listing page?
