Hi Pagick, I’ve found a really severe bug unfortunately.
When user A deletes his profile. His messages will stay in the table “wp_datebook_private_messages” with his rcpid / senderid which are his user-id.
When a new user B registers, he might get the user-id of A and therefore he sees also the messages of the deleted user A in his own messages section.
This is because the user-id of A is deleted and can be given to a new user after registration.
The error could be fixed when all messages of the deleted user will also be deleted completely.
Can you help here please?
Just for your info regarding the bug: I deleted a profile via “Administration Dashboard”, then registered with a new user. Then the bug described above occured.
The bug refers also to Views (wp_datebook_profile_views), Favorites (wp_usermeta) and Blacklist (wp_usermeta).
So the new user will also take over the Views, Favorites and Blacklist of the deleted user. Seems that the delete function is not deleting all activities of the removed user in the tables.
Hi Bobby-s. Interesting discovery. Profiles and users have unique IDs. Even if they were deleted their ID must not be used for new users. MySQL database will not allow to give this ID to a new registered user. Because an ID column in database is incremental. But of course, what you described will be checked and fixed. Hi Pagick, sorry for the confusion. You are right with user_id due to Auto_Increment in the table
I was testing an existing user by mistake.
But apart from that, it would be great if the messages of the deleted user would also be deleted in the database. Thus, you can keep the database lightweight and also due to data protection rules (GDPR).
By the way, it’s not a crucial issue but…if a user has favorited the deleted user, the number will still show next to favorites, although the user doesn’t exist any more. It might be the same with number of blacklisted users as well. It’s only the number that is still showing.

Hi Bobby-s. Messages of deleted users must be kept for a second chat user until this second chat user deletes this chat correspondence completely. Otherwise, when the second user tries to read the correspondence he would see a chat with only his messages. It would look like a broken chat. But, I will add a new option for administrator to decide to delete messages right after a profile deleted or not.

Hi exoticnasemena. You can import pages here: WordPress – Tools – Import – WordPress Importer. Select both demo Brizy files in the demo content folder. No, nothing will be lost.

I corrected it. This is not DateBook issue. All page builders work such way.
I changed link on Logo to this ”../../”. Please, go here: WordPress -> Brizy -> Templates -> open a page for edit with Brizy. Click on Logo and change a link to this

This is patterns for featured profiles. They are located here: wp-content/plugins/datebook/assets/images/patterns. Just remove them or replace with your ones. In the next updates this feature will be improved

New update seems stable. Please see if you could add the following fixes and update on next release. Thank you very much.
1. When user edit profile – User should see pending for approval instead of suspended. Suspended feature also not working in this release when user edit his data after profile has been approved.
2. Option to disable users to visit same-gender profiles. Females should be able to visit only male profiles and vise versa. Currently, male profiles are appearing on male member page.
3. Notification bar when the profile is approved or someone visits the profile when user is online. This is to increase the user retention when he or she browsing the site.
4. Separate Chat & Message window and show online chat icon on profile image if user is online.
5. Option to edit email notifications sent to members.

It has been fixed. Bank details were displayed on both WooCommerce and DateBook subscription page. But if you say, then I need some time to check it again.
Could you tell me how you tested the payment by bank? Were you logged in as administrator? Please, note, when you are logged in as administrator then payments are not done by user. Try to login as an ordinary user ad make payment by bank gateway. It must work and display bank details on Subscription page..

Suspend a profile after a user edited it, – this feature seems not working in the new update. Users are able to edit and save the profile without admin approval.
I will check it and improve it in the next update very soon. This time new features were added and I had to fix bugs in them first urgently.

Regarding the flags on the front page! 1. There is no link included. 2. You’re not able to remove the flags. Unless you use (display:none;) 3. The flags are of very poor quality. Especially if you try to enlarge them. Why, because they are really too small. 4. But I already found a solution, before your update. I found some high quality flags. Which I replaced with the country text. So now it only shows the flags on the front-page. 5. What I need now, is a tool-tip. When someone:hover’s the flags. It that something you can help me with?

Thanks for the reply. I’m sure the resolution is very high. But I’m referring, to the details in the picture itself. Let’s just take an example. On the Chinese flag, the stars are centered, on your picture. But on the real Chinese flag. The stars are placed in the upper left corner.
Regarding the tool-tip. When you hover a flag. The flags name should show. But I really want to learn how to insert a tool-tip, using CSS!

I also found a more stable way, to hide the admin bar and you can also hide it, for users by role. Click the link to download – https://wordpress.org/plugins/hide-admin-bar-from-front-end/
But you have to disable the function in – DateBook Options > Common > Hide Administrator Top Bar… By unchecking – yes!

This time I added only favorite notification by email. Because, several functions were changed to ajax. Now, countries, favorite, like, block works on ajax. Later, Like + notification will be added.

Yes, right now I am fixing these bugs with login and redirect functions. Please, install the previous version of the theme. The new update with fixes will be available very soon today. I tested this version on 2 servers and there were no errors. Strange.

This time too many changes (improvements) were added. But 1-2 bugs were missed. Yes, the login function was changed. New redirect function has been added but as it turned out it does not work properly. But no worries! Right now it is being fixed.
Hi Pagick, unfortunately I’ve found 3 issues with the new update 4.4.2
1. Deleting messages is not possible. After clicking on Delete button nothing happens.
2. Removing profile from Blacklist is not possible. It seems only be possible when unblocking the user from the corresponding profile directly.
3. Still….when a user fills in his profile for the very first time and forgets an obligatory field (e.g. languages spoken), then the profile won’t be updated and all fields will be reset. The user has to fill out all fields again.
Would you please fix these issues and please would you please test everything on the Frontend with test users in detail before uploading the next update. Take your time but just to be sure that we don’t have the same bugs in the next version again please!

Hi samausbiotech. No. You do not need to uninstall the plugin. It is better to deactivate and delete the current theme (just activate any other theme temporarily). After the theme deleted, you see the message in the admin panel, it offers to update the plugin. Click the button “Begin updating plugin”. That’s it.

Hi samausbiotech. There are 3 ways to update the theme and plugin.
1) By FTP. Unpack all the theme files you download from ThemeForest. Connect to the hosting server by FileZilla and upload all of the files.
2) Uploading the theme in the WordPress administration area. a) Deactivate (just activate any other theme) and b) delete the current theme. c) Upload the archive file you downloaded from ThemeForest. d) Activate the theme, e) After it, you see the message in the admin panel, it offers to update the plugin. Click the button “Begin updating plugin”. That’s it.
3) Install the plugin “Envato Market”. This plugin helps update the theme and plugin.
If some errors, issues arises because of some plugins, for example security one, then you should deactivate them before installing the theme. Do not worry! DateBook does not break or delete any data from database. Thank you for your kind words.
