Hi. The date is displayed in backwards US format. In Casper when I change the locale to say de, fr, or en_gb it is normal for the dates to display in international format, but it doesn’t do it in this theme, it’s always US. How do I set it so dates are shown in international format? Thanks.
{{date}} helper. And the format is as follows.
{{date format="MMMM DD, YYYY"}}
Changing the language does not change this format. If you want to change the date format, you can find all the instances of the above code in the entire theme and then replace with the format you want. Or you can entirely remove the format and use only the {{date}} helper. It will then format the date as locale.

Changing the locale does change this format in Casper. If you don’t support international date format you should probably update the product brochure, to say you only support US date format. To be very clear, I would not have bought your theme if I had known about this limitation. I recommend to anyone reading this who does not want USA date formats to avoid GBJ and look at someone like Fueko. Thanks for the technical info on helpers, I will look into it.
In Casper theme the the default {{date}} is being used without any specific format. That’s why it automatically changes on locale change.
All themes does not works as same, that’s why each and every theme is different. I respect your opinion and recommendation. It’s been 2 months of your previous comment, but if you need any help I am still open for it. You can always send a message using the support form.
Just for your information, I asked for sending message through contact form just because it’s more convenient to directly communicate over emails for any support related to theme. Back then if you just sent me a message, I could have help you easily, within few hours as per your requirements.

I did message 2 months ago, which you didn’t reply to, or at least I did not get a notification or email if you did. I can’t believe you’ve hard coded US date formats all throughout the theme, overriding the default automatic locale changes which seem to work perfectly with just {{date}}. No further actions for me other than regretting I spent the money.
I think I have explained elaborately enough, you did not sent me message. You leave a comment here, and I did replied to it within the same day. Anyways, if you think my theme is lacking something, I can’t and don’t want to change your opinion. I have tried my best to provide answers to your questions, I was also willing to make few changes then if you need.

You write as if I have a personal, individual problem. Let’s all be clear that the issue is that your theme only supports US date format, which is hard coded. You should say that you only support US date format in the product brochure. Otherwise you mislead buyers.
Hi, the theme looks great. I would like to run without calls to third party sites. Does it run nicely without calls to Google fonts? Also the Search – is the Search running on the server or making third party calls? Thanks for your help! B.
Hello, This theme uses Google Font. If you want to remove Google font and want to use your hosted font, or if you want it to fall back to system fonts, then you have to customize the code.
The search calls to your same site content API to get the data and then filter/search on that data. The search is implemented using a this plugin https://github.com/gmfmi/searchinGhost.

Search looks good, I had a read of Github, I don’t mind Unpkg so much. Would you support customising to revert to local fonts or custom install fonts? I think it’s good to not send tracking to Google, my Ghost servers are in the EU.
The EU is cracking down on storing tracking info on USA servers, that sort of thing. Did you follow this news, they ruled GA illegal. (https://tutanota.com/blog/posts/google-analytics/ ).
As per support policy, custom work does not included in support. I can provide custom work for additional cost.
Search script is not being loaded from CDN, it’s included in the theme and served locally.

why would people have to sign up first and become a member to have access to the subscribe page, isn’t that a barrier to entry… why not have a subscribe button accessible to non members to directly subscribe and skip being a free member?
Hi, the theme is made such way. You can always enable the portal what is inbuilt in the ghost. The portal have options you are looking for.

Hi, i’m interested in your theme. I have a question about the repsonsiveness of the ad placements on mobile.
For example, the header ad says that it is 728×90 fixed. I think this may appear to small on mobile. Can I put a repsonvie ad there or is there anyway to make that bigger?
Hello, If you use static image ad then the image will be smaller in mobile device. Otherwise if you use responsive ad code then the size of the ad will be determined by your ad provider depending on the screen size.

Hello, I don’t have any team member. If you use the theme your site will look similar as the demo. You have to decide yourself. BTW, the search may be slower if your site have a very large amount of posts.

Hello, this theme already have the membership support. Also you can use the new portal feature of ghost with this theme.
I apparently meant its not pre-included in the theme. Besides the floating ‘subscribe’ I don’t see any post paywall and pre-constructed membership pages incorporated as i’ve seen on other themes. Thanks for your response.
The floating “Subscribe” button is directly built in Ghost and it was released in ghost 3.37.0. The feature is called portal, which makes every theme compatible with membership. BTW, I think you are asking about the pricing table ( custom made in each theme before ghost version 3.37.0). This theme has the pricing table also but those are only visible after the sign up. The the process here is.. 1. User sign ups using their mail address. 2. At this point user can read the posts which are members only but free. 3. Pricing table can be visible to free members ( who signed up but not a paid member) 4. At this point user can go with the paid plan and read the posts which are marked as paid members only.
If you want, you can use a temporary mail address on the live demo site. Also you can test the payment using test card details which you can find here https://stripe.com/docs/testing#cards

Hello, Please unzip the downloaded zip. You will see a folder named documentation. In that folder you will see an HTML file. Open that file in your browser and you will find the documentation.
There is another folder for demo data. There is instruction in documentation, how to import demo data. Please note, demo data do not import images.

Finally a magazine-style theme! Well done! This is the first theme that has my interest. How much customization can one do? 1 Can the logo be moved to the center? What about the colours changed? I also I suggest you post this in the ghost community forum so people can see and discuss -
Hi, Thank you very much. Any customization can be done because the development version of the theme also included. To center the logo a small edit required in the code. All color can be changed as per your preference. Tag’s color are handled from the code injection which makes changing the existing color or adding more color as you use more tag in your site. Other Global color can be changed in development version of the theme or overriding CSS variables via code injection.
