Thanks for taking an interest! You can link videos from YouTube or Vimeo, or alternatively, host your own videos. If you decide to self-host your video files, you need to upload the video files via the Media section (or you could upload a video directly to your server), and then enter the path to your video files in the corresponding fields. We recommend uploading videos in MP4 format in order to ensure compatibility with all modern browsers. You can also find a list of all supported formats here.

Hey, I’m a filmmaker and very interested in the portfolio. Had a few design questions before I pulled the trigger.
1) Is there a way to do the “Parallax Showcase” with autoplaying videos instead of stills, like in”Interactive Title Showcase”?
2) Can I customize the font type and size on “Info Follow” and disable category (ie so it doesn’t say “Video”?
3) Can I use a category filter on a masonry portfolio?

1. These are 2 different widgets, one is a video button and the other one is Interactive link carousel. The video button has an vimeo URL added so you could try to edit it in vimeo or youtube if you wish to have auto play. You can read more about it here
2. The fonts styles will be inhereted from our theme options, so title and text which you can set to your needs. If you need a specific font only for the portfolio list you can also add a small piece of CSS code. Also you can disable the “video” category by removing it with CSS.
3. Yes you can enable the filter on the masonry portfolio.

Gotcha! I do have a few more questions actually… 
I’m actually referring to the project images BEHIND each video button in “Parallax Showcase”. I’d like to make each of those images a looping video. If I understand correctly, this homepage option is a slider a Slider Revolution revolution template, right? Because if so, then I’d assume I can simply replace each image element with a video. Is that the case?
Also, heads up—it seems that the parallax video is broken.. It won’t load correctly on any of my devices.

You can choose to add a video button and a background image for it. You can not add a video in the Image field however you could consider achieving the similar effect by using Rev Slider and add your video over there, or embed your video on the page.

We have not included this within our theme options and you could possibly consider using a 3rd party plugin or a Rev Slider add on perhaps. Do note that if you are going to use the Rev Slider addon you will need to have a regular license of the plugin, you could not use templates in the bundled version that comes included within our theme. Please note that we did not test 3rd party plugins with our theme and cannot guaranty theme compatibility, however you can always test this on your end.

Oh ok, thanks for the clarification. If you have created the video and have a youtube url then it should not be a problem as you only add the URL of the video through our options into our video shortcode.

I’m interested in the theme, specifically “Direction Home”, but I have a few questions:
1. My screen is 2560×1440 px and in that size there is a white space between the videos. Is this easy to solve? And that brings me to the second question:
2. When I import the demo, will all sections be fully editable by Elementor?
3. Is it possible to exchange the “Direction Home” background photo for a video? And will this video work on mobile versions?

1. Please note that we do test our themes on HD and if you intend to make the theme responsive for 4K you can always try to upload bigger images (in a higher resolution) as the images are optimised for standard desktop layouts.
2. Once you import the demo content you will get access to all the pages and settings which you will be able to edit to your needs. Some of our portfolio pages do come with specific layout however you can always create your own custom portfolio item if you wish that.
3. The first section on Director Home is a Slider and you will be able to add a video for sure.
