After updating to to Wordpress 5.5 my website has crashed.
I reverted back to 5.4.2 and it didn’t help still same issue.

Indeed, in my WP 5.5 instance locally, i spotted some minor bugs but nothing that would’ve break the site. Anyway i was planning an update tomorrow with the fixes.
Could you please create a temporary admin account for me so i can take a closer look? Please use my profile page’s contact form. Also please tell me the steps i need to do to replicate the issue.

Yes, an update is coming in about 2 days. I tested with WP5.5 but there were minor issues that i’ve fixed. I heard though there are issues with other plugins so maybe it’s advisable to wait for a bit? Or backup first and try to update.

Hi, I like this theme and I am thinking of purchasing this already but I wanted to ask first because I want my website to be a clothing, accessories and bags rental website where people can rent and I also have lender where they can list their items to my website, is this theme in any way compatible with Woocommerce Easy Booking plugin and Dokan?

A lot of customers used Dokan and haven’t had any reports of it not working with Rey.
Woocommerce Easy Booking plugin on the other hand, i haven’t tested nor did i know of any Rey’s customers that might have used it. From what i’m thinking, it should work fine, but if not i could surely fix incompatibilities.

I love the Paris theme and it has work beautifully. One issue we have is the slider on the homepage. It looks great on desktop but the photo gets overlayed by the type on the mobile version….we know we can eliminate the section from showing on the mobile version, but we would like to show the section either correctly or possibly be eliminating the photo only on the mobile version….Is this possible? Can I add a vertical menu in this template? Will the product page be three columns? For example, did he add a custom sidebar? rtl suported? dokan suported?

Not sure what you mean by vertical menu. I mean i know, but i’m not sure. Iff you can send me an example it would be great. There is an element called just Menu which supports the items to be displayed vertically, but i’m thinking you maybe mean that type of vertical menu that has a top “trigger” that toggles it either on click or hover.
No, the product page doesn’t support 3 column product page neither a sidebar. I’m working on this ffeature but i’m not sure when it’ll be available.
As for Dokan, had a lot of customers using it and haven’t had any reports so i’m assuming it works fine.

Pre Purchase Question – On single product page Can I display INFORMATIONS and SPECIFICATIONS tabs underneath DESCRIPTIONS ? The problem is on our current woocommerce website we have very large product descriptions build in elementor. A lot of text and images to display. We dont want it to be squeezed. We need descriptions to be displayed in full-width . Is it possible with this theme ?

Sure, please try accessing Customizer > WooCommerce > Product tabs/blocks and most of the options you’ll be able to find here.
Either display as tabs or as blocks.
If you’re using blocks, you can enable the “Stretch description block” eg: https://d.pr/i/MHBbxt .
If you want to reorder them, use the priority fields, the lowest starts first.

Yes, you can make your store secure. Make sure you keep plugins updated and i highly suggest WordFence plugin.
You can enable social sharing icons in product pages, and also you can create the social icons block in Elementor and publish for example in the site footer.
As for FB Pixel, snapchat, etc. the generated codes must be manually added with a plugin such as Code Snippets, or by code in the child theme’s functions.php eg: https://support.reytheme.com/kb/how-to-add-custom-javascript/ .

Not to worry, WordPress 5.5 is coming in a few days/a week and it’ll update the jQuery library version.
I also ran a few tests with this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-jquery-update-test/ to make sure it’s all ok, and everything seemed to work fine.

Thank you already for the theme the grip was super cool !! And we just put the site online !! We are super happy !!! We have a small issue, the HTTPS cannot be displayed on the home page. There is a “Mixed Content” error on the home page with the following message “A file with an insecure url of” http://demos.reytheme.com/london/wp-content/uploads/sites/8/2019/03/home_bg_rgba.svg". I am self-taught.
How to solve this please?

I see, it seems that the background image is pulled from Rey’s demos. Please try to edit the homepage with Elementor, access Page settings (bottom left gear icon) and then access Styles tab, and remove the background image there eg: https://d.pr/v/Hp1SK9 . If you want to keep the background image, please download it http://demos.reytheme.com/london/wp-content/uploads/sites/8/2019/03/home_bg_rgba.svg and upload it to your site.

Two quick questions
I know one licens just works for one domain, but how about subdomains? Usually I like to run a subdomain for testing etc. So the question, could I run the theme on the main domain as well as a subdomain on the same licens?
Another question that might be hard for you to answer but anyway, Do you know if the plugin “Wp Cost Estimation & Payment Forms Builder” from author “loopus” works with your theme (for e-commerce). I need it for some more advanced calculations/options.
Got the recommendation for your theme from the Elementor group on FB, could be nice to know.

1) To be honest i’m not 100% sure but as far as i know it shouldn’t be a problem. The only issue is that the purchase code cannot be activated simultaneously on multiple WordPress instances. In this case i would recommend using a WordPress multisite instance, which is able to have subdomains.
2) Haven’t tested this plugin, nor do i know someone who used it, but i’d be happy to fix incompatibilities if there are any.

Hi there, This might sound like a random question but i was wondering what options we have to add elements to the mobile menu panel that slides out? We want to add in our social media icons but cant seem to find any options for this? Thanks!

There isn’t a direct way through options, however here’s a few steps on doing it yourself with a bit of coding, making use of Rey’s global sections.
1. Access admin Rey themes > Global sections, and here create a new global section, set it as generic and edit with Elementor. In here, add the Social icons eg: https://d.pr/i/gmkext . Save it and look into the URL and make sure to remember the post id eg: https://d.pr/i/h4jfxo .
2. Copy the php code from here https://d.pr/n/Z7comq and paste it into the child theme’s functions.php . Make sure to change the ID in there. Also,you can change the “10” priority to “0” if you want to move it at the top.
If you don’t know how to add the code here’s a quick article https://support.reytheme.com/kb/how-to-add-custom-code-in-child-themes-functions-php/ .
An alternative is to recreate the whole mobile panel into a totally separate and new one, making use of “Off-canvas” global sections. Here’s an article here with some screencasts https://support.reytheme.com/kb/off-canvas-global-sections/ .
