Hi. Just bought this theme and I can’t seem to find how to add/edit chapters for online reading. Going throgh the theme documentation I couldn’t find any instructions either. Would you mind guiding me on how to do it, please?

Nevermind. I just had to post the question to find it in the regular product edit page. Up until now I was always clicking on “Edit with Elementor”.

The theme requires Elementor, WooCommerce and Advanced Custom Fields PRO (which comes with it) and Leona Functionalities (custom theme specific plugin that comes with it) for its functionality. There are also some plugins that are recommended but not required like Mailchimp and Contact Form 7.
As for your other questions – yes, it is possible. The them utilizes WooCommerce for the products so it can be used to sell everything. Have in mind that the theme is designed to work for books so there might be some styling that you need to readjust if you want to display something different (for example the book cover animation on hover is quite specific for books)
How can add a header background on the shop page?

When you select to edit the Shop page, there are multiple options for the page header which you can adjust, Make sure you have also installed and activated all required plugins for the theme, most importantly the Advanced Custom Fields PRO plugin (it comes with the theme)
Does this theme includes sales through paypal?

Make sure you have added the Google API key in Appearance > Theme Settings. It is required in order for the map to work.

Yes, from the Theme Settings you can adjust the main and secondary colors (currently orange and cyan). We are interested to buy a theme but before buying we have some queries if you can please help us.
Basically we are planning to put up a website selling comics ( Action, Adventure, etc ) (E-book) online reading only, no physically shipping.
We need to upload files in JPEG, PDF formats. We need to know if these formats will be supported by the theme of our choice, in case of negative suggest us the themes which will support these formats.
Also we want to know if we will be able to integrate payment gateway. We will be using INR currency.
Also our query is when a visitor purchases a comic from our website, then will he be able to read it online or will he have to download the comic and read it subsequently on his device.

Yes, you can sell such digital products with the theme. The theme is uitilizing the WooCommerce plugin which allows you to do such a thing. You can read more here – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/digital-downloadable-product-handling/ . Also WooCommerce covers multiple payment gateways which you can use to sell your products.
Just have in mind that the book preview in the theme is added via WYSIWYG editor (similar to how you write a blog post) so you can add text there. As for the files that can be downloaded after a book is purchased, they can be of any format.

is it using pdf for online book reading? how will it handle the books of around 1000 pages? when is the next theme update expected? thanks

The online book preview is added in chapters and each chapter content is added by a WYSIWYG editor – similar to how you write a blog post. Such a large book might be a problem but it also depends how you divide it into chapters. We don’t have a specific date for the next update – if something has to be fixed or adjusted we make an update.
presale question . i am already using a membership plugin to restrict content for members. can i restrict the book preview to members just like paid post/page ? one more thing is that i was going to buy odrin today. let me know how is it different from this . i dont find any difference , and yeah i know both the theme is yours. please let me know soon. i m in a hurry
In Leona the book preview works similarly to the one in odrin so the same things apply. As for the themes difference, Leona uses the Elementor page builder for its pages and Odrin uses Unyson. Also the design direction is different in both themes.
Hi. I got odrin and using it. As I am not comfortable with forum theme ( as it’s menu is is different and not mega menu , also shop pages don’t have left side bar and I think I can’t add left side bar. ) I want to buy this one.
My concern is I don’t want to use elementor rather Gutenberg. I only need book preview feature of flipping pages ( as it’s there in both themes). Rest I will design with Gutenberg

Yes, you will have the book preview on each product (book) page. On the other side, if you want the element with the book thumbnails hover (the one on the home page), that is an Elementor widget.

Leona provides a lot more customizations than Odrin because it uses the Elementor page builder.
Please have in mind that when viewing sites different from our demos, it’s possible that the user has added additional customizations that are not originally found in the theme.
Hi subsolar, FYI… the theme demo link is loading so slow I cannot even review the theme to see if I want to buy this theme. Please restart your servers or do something about the theme demo so I can review this theme and see if I want to purchase it.

Hi, I recently bought the Leona template and would like to install the theme demo. After an hour of clicking the start button, nothing was loaded. I also read, in case of problems with the installation, the following message “If demo import freezes for more than 5 minutes, there could be problems with your server not being able to download the demo images. Please contact your hosting provider in that case . ” How can I resolve this problem?

Hello, it is part of the theme. When you upload an image for the cover of the book, it will automatically have this 3D rotating effect.
You have an excellent “Meet the Characters” slider in your Novela theme. Does Leona have a similar slider?

There isn’t any custom functionality so that you can protect pages so that only registered users can see them. You can use the core WordPress functionality of protected pages for that – https://wordpress.org/support/article/using-password-protection/ but this isn’t connected with users registering. There might be some plugin for that but we haven’t tested such and cannot say if it will work 100% with the theme.
