Hi, I’ve purchased this theme and I really like the portfolio layout and the page transitions, but I also like the page layout blocks from ‘colega’ (e.g. full width slider). Is it possible import those into the Bauman theme / add new page layout blocks?
Hi there, it’s actually quite complex to move a featured layout from one theme to the other since although they may look easy to replicate, it involves different html+css+js structure(s). Thanks
How do you change the primary background colour? From what I can tell the ‘light’ and ‘dark’ theme is applied as inline style. I want to change the colour for the homepage.
Yes, as you know, the background comes in two flavors in Bauman: light or dark (or dark content vs light content). You can change the actual hex codes of the colors in /js/scripts.js lines 264 (for light content) and lines 280, 282 (for dark content). Thanks

Hi, Yes, but this will affect the smoothness of ajax page transitions since the titles have the same alignment with slide’s captions

Hi! Awesome theme so I bought it. And now installed at my website, along with the demo-data. Looking really great. The documentation is easy to follow. However, the theme is failing to display the Map of the contact page with my Google Maps API key. The API key is working on my old theme. Could you kindly offer more documentation on how to make this work with your Map Settings? I placed it at Customize>Map Settings and still not showing.Thanks.

Hi, we are very glad that you like it! the fullscreen slider is meant and has been designed as such that will display only the portfolio slider – no additional content after it. you can add extra information in the hero caption(s). thanks

Thanks for your answer. We got some people to look at the layout … and they all gave the same feedback: they didn’t know what to do.
From our point of view, it is therefore imperative to include an alternative to navigation under the slider.

Hi Guys, im adding Bauman Collage. And all works fine, except one thing… where can I add image captions? There is no option for adding this captions in Bauman Collage – but on page, when I have “created gallery, there is description shown on each image “Caption Text”.

Morning! Your theme is amazing but I am missing one very important User Experience; I like the Startpage a lot and when I select a project I can only check “next project below”. Is it possible for a better UX navigation? Like back and next concept plus back to the Startpage/Homepage?
Good morning! the prev-next project can be implemented only with custom work. The way it works right now is a circular ‘next’ navigation in forward or reverse chronological order. Back to Home page -> you have the logo link. Thanks

Hi Great Template and I’m new at it. Can you add this Icon? fafa-map-o and Fafa-Map. It looks like a Brochure or Map. I see it in the font list on line somewhere, but i type it in as Map or Map-o and it wont work on your tempalte. Also where am I supposed to find the fa-fa font characters you put into the template? Sorry. I’m new at this, like I had said. I’m not sure where the font that shows the icon comes from in your template. Is there a page in your help files that tells us where the code is to translate the font into the icon in the first place? I had to look up the Font on line to see the list avail here: https://fontawesome.com/v4.7.0/icons/ . You have a page inside your WP bundle that has text and icons next to it. Can I send you a snapshot of it?

Yes, this the icons list. It’s fontawesome. It;s the class you are interested in for example, ‘fa fa-pie-chart’ https://fontawesome.com/v4.7.0/icon/pie-chart You can group the portfolio items into categories and the assign a category filter to each of the showcase, portfolio grid or carousel. it’s me again! I’m actually almost finished it, just checking everything worked, but I noticed two of my pages which I turned White on the desktop version and not crossing over to mobile, instead they are grey background with white wording, I’d like to sync them so its White background and Black text like the desktop version. (but its not working)
looking on my mobile, I’ve cleared interest cache etc on it, but still showing grey/white. any advice?
