I currently have an older version of Javo 4.1.6. What is the best way to update to the latest version. 1. I tried the links on the backend, none of them work. 2. I emailed you at javothemes@gmail.com I got no response 3. I tried to submit a ticket on your support page, but it won’t allow me because current support has expired.

The purchase code that was provided after my purchase will not allow me to Activate the theme to be able to start customizing my site. How can I fix this?

I had to update the theme from a very old version years ago because nothing was working so decided to start from scratch instead – however uploading the demo content is a nightmare – I have tried several times and reinstalled the entire wordpress installation three times to start from scratch again, I tried different internet connections and my server is over all the recommended levels, I also didn’t select the image to be uploaded with it so it might be quicker but it stays stuck still on around just over half for over an hour? The other pages seem to be loaded fine but the home pages stay completely unaligned with all my upload attempts

Hey there, 1) I am wordering how to get the price range filter to work (in your demo available). I can add price, sale, price range (select box) but I cant select price range in the filters. 2) Is it possible to duplicate the price range filter to get sth like “style: cozy, luxury, farmers”?

Hello,

I am migrating a website that was created in version 1.3 of the theme and now we are recreating it from scratch for this latest version.

I have a problem with the migration because of the directory_meta field in the version 1.3 database, as it joins the values of several fields.

Is there any way to separate these values to upload in the new version?

NOTE: I am using the WP All Import / Export plugin to export the data.

Hello,

I created an additional field using ACF and I want to order the display the listing by that field. Is it possible to do that?

I’ve already managed to do this with the elementor list module, using the “query id” field.

But I did not find this field in the module created by you.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t support ACF. ACF has too many detail fields and it’s not simply possible to make them all work at this moment.

Hi, I have purchased this theme. However, there is one feature which I am specifically looking for. I am looking for an option where only paid users will be able to submit article/news depending upon the package they purchase. For example, a basic package allows “business listing” + 5 Article submissions. Do let me know if this is something which can be achieved in this directory ? If Not, Let me know if you can offer this custom functionality along with its costing.

Hi there, pre-sales question: is it possible to use just the directory plugin? Or is it better to use the theme as a whole? What if I just want the directory functionality, but want to use Divi builder instead?

We recommend you to use with one of our themes. There are some more features are with our theme.

You can still use only lava directory manager plugin. But some of addons are working with our theme only.

Hi,

I have Directory v4. I had installed a Demo site from Javo. When a visitor enters into a listing page and press de contact button, the contact form popup brings on, but the email to the listing author nevers send because the [_post_author_email] and the all special tags has empties values when the contact form tries to send the email.. so, the contact form show a red box telling about the error.. Is that a bug?? How fix it?

Hi, I had the old version (v3) of this theme and would like to upgrade to the new version. How do I get on with that? Do I need to renew support or do I have to buy the license again?

I’ve updated the new version and it was a total disaster. Elementor crashed everything.

I have the access to my hosting provider. It’s not an issue from that side by the way

the submit a listing page has an email and password field, but no username field? this makes their email the username, which makes it public info…. need to add the username field here….

I just activated and installed this theme. After installed all search and filter functions didn’t work. I have read all document but still cannot fix the issue. Kindly help provide any suggestion.

Hello, With your last update, you have introduced a new activation process. It does not work and I cannot access anymore to my theme settings. Your support is too long to answer this kind of things.

I have added the purchase code and it does not work. And I have opened a ticket. Otherwise I wouldn’t have written a message here. What I’m saying is that when you publish an update (which is not very often), you should be ready to support quickly your customers. Don’t publish an update at 11PM if you cannot support at 11PM. Now I have to wait for at least 12 hours to get an answer. In this answer, I guess you’ll explain to me that I need to deactivate all my plugins and try again. I’ll answer you that I already did it. Then I’ll have to wait for 24 hours to get a new answer… And, yes I’ll waste my time because during all this time I won’t be able to work on my website. Thank you for your understanding.

Then give the detail and wait until morning. You opened less 1hr and telling support is slow.

Don’t get us wrong that we release new version enough. You said you understand we don’t work 24 hrs. You are saying now that we should support this time at 11 pm. You have a wrong information that we didn’t publish at 11pm. It was yesterday and many people didn’t have this issue until now.

We understand there can be minor issues or unexpected issues. Then you should give us time to have a look at the details rather than posted a ticket 1 hour ago and saying support is slow. All of software can have minor issues and unexpected bugs to fix.

Please also use a staging server for a safe way to handle updates or your work. You said it breaks your site. It didn’t much matter with breaking site. That’s for the activation key. It doesn’t matter with other plugins deactivation.

1. Can listing fields and custom fields be accessed in Elementor? For example when I combine ACF with Elementor I am able to take a text block in Elementor and make its content dynamic based on the value of a field or custom field. This allows creation of more custom designs based off the data of a post/custom post type.

2. Do you use a standard Wordpress way to create custom fields? If I import a CSV file into this theme I want to know I will be able to map data to the custom fields I create.

1. Unfortunately, it’s not supported ACF. ACF has many multiple options. It’s hard to make them all work on front-end, backend for now.

2. If you use the WP standard custom fields to input data, it might be working. But you also need to work on out put. That’s required to customize the code.

So we have discovered a major bug with the directory and theme.. if a user updates their listing the FAQs section that was previously in the. listing gets deleted.. you literally have to manually enter all FAQs over again every time you update a listing. This can take hours of time if the FAQ section is extensive. This is a MAJOR issue and pretty much makes the use of this theme and plugins worthless for scalability of any kind.
