For those who can’t make WPBakery builder work at backend after update: Delete “Essential Grid” go to “Appearance > Install Plugin” and install & activate “Essential Grid”. This way i could update this plugin and make WPBakery builder work again at backend.

Please update the latest Construction theme with latest WPBakery Builder & Essential Grid plugin then the problem will be fixed.
There was no update for Essential Grid. Also for Slider Revolution. It stucks at first slider now. I will delete the plugin and install again. I hope the problem will be solved without loosing our sliders.

hey visual composer isn’t working in the backend after 5.5 update?
updated the theme to the new version to try and fix the issue but now my site looks different (no social or call now in header and the logo in text based not the image I had set, a few other stuff too with how pages are laid out and the main accent colors)
I also can see the theme options in the backend anymore

Sorry just noticed slider revolution on mobile isn’t working right and cant change slides. How would I update that too without losing the slider data/content.

You need to update the Slider Revolution such as the WPBakery Builder plugin.
So delete slider revolution and then installed the new one? Will that keep my old slides?

Sorry Just noticed that the slider revolution only works fully on computers. On mobile you cant see any text on the slider and also there is a white gap that appears under the slider on mobile? Any help?

But i got another serious problem. The backend editor for page / post is not working. e.g. unable to switch between text /visual editor, add media button is not response. Also, the Bakery Page builder is disappeared on editor.

Please update your theme with the last revolution slider (Update Slider Revolution to version 6.2.18). This is because there are some bugs with WP 5.5 and the older versions of Revolutions slider.

I resolved wordpress 5.5 problem with your theme by installing jQuery Migrate Helper plugin but please update quickly your theme because this is just a temporary solution

“Demo import failed. Please check for PHP limits in red on the Status page. Change those to the recommended value and try again.” Cant even open the theme past this point. Multiple people seem to have this issue even when php levels are fixed. Opened up a support ticket but still no help.
