What page builder was this page built on? I want to know before i make a purchase
Hi there
NC theme uses SiteOrigins page builder https://wordpress.org/plugins/siteorigin-panels/ along with support for multiple page templates.
Thanks
Hi, my site was updated latest wordpress version, php version 5.6, but the backend having issue like cant upload images , sermon etc. Editor also not function well. What can i do? Thanks in advance.
Hi there
Please make sure you have updated your NC theme to latest version i.e. v3.5.2 and have updated all the bundled plugins as well. If the problem persists then do clear your browser cache and do a hard refresh by pressing Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R keys on your keyboard.
For further assistance please open a support ticket here: https://support.imithemes.com/help/ticket/new
Thanks
Thanks for reply. btw, do you provide native theme error support and fix it directly if i am renew the support again?
Support team will always be happy to assist you. Since this problem must have been fixed after updating to the latest version of theme but there are chances which can be caused by some other plugin or hosting factors. This can be checked by the support team and should be fixed on your website. Thanks
Noted. Thanks.
I have used this wonderful pluigin for nearly five years now. Likely because of the last WP update (or perhaps another reason), the upload MP3 button for new sermons has disappeared. Nothing to click on to upload a sermon. Anyone seen this behavior before?
Hi there
The new version of WordPress have some javascript updates which needs changes in the theme as well. You should update your theme to the latest available version i.e. v3.5.2 to fix any such problem. Thanks
Thanks for your reply. Before posting this question, I did indeed update to the latest version of Native Church. I attempted every other update I could think of as well. I will post a support ticket. Thank you!
I guess I cannot post a support ticket as my support has run out on this product.
Make sure you have updated all the plugins at WP Dashboard => Native Church => Plugins page. Also try clearing your browser cache and do a hard refresh by pressing Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R keys on your keyboard on any page where the problem persists.
Thanks
Thank you for the thoughts. I have done all the updates as well as the hard refreshes. I have also tried this on multiple computers/devices and on several browsers. It appears to be the same thing wherever. No box to upload the MP3 for sermon audio…...
Then it must be checked for any other possible problem, which may included a plugin which is still not compatible with the new version of WP. You may extend your support to be able to open a ticket or email me at envato[at]imithemes.com so I can get this checked. Thanks
I tried to update through FTP from an older version of the theme. Now when I try to activate the theme I get a critical error. It seems to be unable to find the “includes.php” file that is called in the “functions.php” file. Looking via FTP there is no “includes.php” file in the folder. I tried to open a support ticket, but it would not confirm my purchase code. Thank you for your help!
Hi there
Please open a support ticket here: https://support.imithemes.com/help/ticket/new and my team would be happy to check your website. You don’t have to enter your purchase code manually in support site. You can login using your Envato Account https://support.imithemes.com/knowledgebase/how-to-register-for-ticket-system/ and it will pick your purchase by own.
Thanks
Hi, I just updated to the latest version of Native Church, and my home (front) page content has been wiped out. All I did was update the Native Church theme. I am using a Native Church child theme which I did not change. There is no content at now on my home page at all and I would need to build it all again. I don’t want to have buy a new support package due to something that happened due to a standard update. I have had to place my site in maintenance mode until I resolve this. Please advice?
Hi there
Sorry for the inconvenience, but there is nothing in any of the recent update of the NC theme which changes any of your settings or pages content. It depends on from which version you are updating from and other factors also. Make sure you have updated all the bundled and active plugins of your website. If you do not have an active support term then to check for any possible problem you can enable WP_DEBUG.
Thanks
Hi – everything has been updated (Plugins, Wordpress, etc) of course. I was on about 2 versions before – about 3.3 or so – is that the problem? Must I first update to 4 and then 5? If the above is not the issue I will try WP_DEBUG as suggested.
Then it must be checked by my support team. Please open a support ticket here: https://support.imithemes.com/help/ticket/new
Hi, I wanted to change the email to which the form sends from the inbuilt contact form that comes below every page. I cannot find how to do it. Can you please guide me. Thanks in advance.
Hi there
Are you using the form shortcode which theme provides or using “Contact” form page template? For contact form page template there is a field to enter the email for contact form https://a.cl.ly/Jru6KOJ9

In this case, the page needs to be checked. Please open a ticket here: https://support.imithemes.com/help/ticket/new and my team would be happy to assist you. Thanks
Hello there,
What does the error ‘Calling parse_str() without the result argument is deprecated in /NativeChurch/imic-framework/imic-theme-functions.php on line 2537’ mean?
Thanks!
Hi there
It seems like you are using a very old version of theme, you need to update it to latest version i.e. v3.5.2 to get over this error and other compatibilities with the new WordPress version.

Pre-sale question
Hello there, I’d like to know if it’s possible to have a location map for each event.
Thanks.
Hi there
You can easily add map on the event page by adding map embed code in the event posts content editor.
Thanks
Hey there, I updated to 3.5.1 and it’s asking me to install the Native Church plugin, But when I click activate, I get this message: “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”
Hi there
The latest version of theme is v3.5.2, the plugin will ask for installation only if you are currently on a very older version of theme. If you are not able to install the core plugin then there can be permission restriction on the hosting. You may install it manually, plugin zip can be found inside theme => framework => tgm => plugins folder.
For more questions and concerns please open a support ticket here: https://support.imithemes.com/help/ticket/new
Thanks
Thank you for the response! Previous version of the theme (3.1.3) did have the plugin. I may be installing the new one wrong? There are no useful instructions here: https://support.imithemes.com/documentation/theme-updates/ so I just guesssed and renamed the existing theme folder “NativeChurchOld” and uploaded the new zip file through WordPress. Maybe that created the permissions issue? Installing the plugin myself seemed to work though, thank you for the guidance.
After updating to WordPress 5.5 and updating the theme to 3.5.1 I have now lost functionality such as drop down menus and “quick edit” in posts. Please can you advise when this will be fixed. many thanks.
Hi there
Please update to the latest version of theme i.e. v3.5.2 and it will fix those things. If the problem persists then please do a hard refresh in your WP Dashboard pages by pressing Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + R keys on your keyboard.
Thanks
Thank you. I had first restored my website to an earlier version of both theme and WP and then it was actually 3.5.2 of the theme that I had updated to. I then installed WP 5.5.1 afterwards and it’s now working again. Many thanks for your help!
p.s one of the best themes I’ve worked with and excellent customer services. Thank you
Glad it’s fine now. Thanks for choosing the NativeChurch theme
I’m having all kinds of trouble with this theme since the last wordpress update. I may have been sooner I just didn’t notice. A lot of screens are blank. A lot of forms are missing fields like the password field from add user. Need help

Major conflict between Native Church theme and bundled Site Origin Page Builder since the latest update. Please address this critical bug!
Hi there
Please make sure you are using the very latest version of theme i.e. v3.5.2
Thanks
I love your theme and thank you so much for the recent update.
I am glad you are using the NativeChurch theme for your website and love it
Does the theme have the ability to download events to CSV to import back into Eventer plugin?
Hi there
The Eventer plugin comes with inbuilt data importer but to export the data from NC theme you will need to use this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-all-export/
Thanks
Yesterday, I suddenly lost access to the media library and theme customization. Additionally, the dropdowns stopped working (in widgets for instance), and many of the functions on the website stopped working. Through trial and error, I discovered that the NativeChurch Core plugin was causing issues – as soon as I deactivated it, I got access to media and customization again. Obviously, keeping that plugin deactivated is causing more issues. What can we do to solve this issue? I verified that it wasn’t a hosting problem (we use Bluehost). The website is https://annunciationrochester.org/. Thank you!

The Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin is showing that the following js files in the theme are deprecated. These will need to be updated in the theme asap as things are not working correctly in the theme.
/wp-content/themes/NativeChurch/assets/js/imic_admin.js:9:16: jQuery.fn.load() is deprecated /wp-content/themes/NativeChurch/assets/js/media-uploader.js: jQuery.fn.live() is deprecated /wp-content/themes/NativeChurch/assets/js/imic_admin.js:51:31): jQuery.fn.live() is deprecated
This error was also found on the theme too:
/wp-content/themes/NativeChurch/framework/meta-box/js/input-list.js: jQuery.fn.toggle(handler, handler…) is deprecated
Hi there
Please make sure you are using the latest version of theme i.e. v3.5.1 These errors were fixed in that.
Thanks
Thank you for the response. However, this is inaccurate and the issues are still not fixed. We updated to the new 3.5.1 version of the theme, updated the core as required, and the it does not allow you to click on certain items or see the homepage sliders.
Please advise.
Please take a look at the video link provided below to see the issues. We created this just a few minutes ago so you would see that the issues still persist even with the theme update and installation.

After updating WP to 5.5, and the theme to 3.5.1 and to the latest version of Yoast, the Yoast SEO plugin doesn’t seem to be working with the theme. When editing a page or post, the Yoast plugin only shows the tabs, not the content of the plugin.
I see the Jquery comment now, maybe this is related to that issue?
Hi there
Please try to clear your browser cache or do a hard refresh by pressing Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + R keys
Thanks
It looks like this theme has JQuery issues with WordPress 5.5. Will that be resolved soon?

/wp-content/themes/NativeChurch/assets/js/imic_admin.js:72:31: jQuery.fn.live() is deprecated
Hi there
We are already into it and will be releasing a quick update soon.
Thanks
Thank you!
The home page header slider still doesn’t work even with the updated theme. Please advise, thank you.
Can you please share your website URL here or email me at envato[at]imithemes.com
I have not updated the theme since we first purchased it. How can I get all the updates since? I currently have 2.7.3. If I update to the latest version from my current version, will anything crash?
Hi there
You can always update your old theme using the Envato Market plugin https://envato.com/market-plugin/ The new version comes with inbuilt updater. Make sure you keep a backup of your current website in case you break something. If I can tell you any major changes in the recent updates it’s that the widgets in the theme are now replaced with new widgets which you can find with the same name with (N)
Thanks
