Good day. You could use any free page builder: Elementor, Brizy. Soon, Elementor support will be added in the theme. In this case, I would recommend Elementor.

If I decide to use the PayPal Gateway through DateBook, do I have to setup a subscription product on the PayPal account we are collecting the money for subscriptions?
DateBook supports WooCommerce, no need for any additional add-on. PayPal gateway in DateBook is effective only if DateBook Subscription is used (here WordPress – DateBook – Dashboard – Subscription). But if you select WooCommerce subscription, then you should setup PayPal any other gateway in WooCommerce settings.

Promo code can be added/used only in WooCommerse. DateBook does not have it.
No, you do not need to create a subscription in PayPal. But your members will have to create a PayPal account when they pay to you. Also, if they want to cancel subscription then they will have to unsubscribe in their PayPal account, not on your website.

Once, I recommended ionos to one of our customers. That hosting did not work properly for him. But for me, it worked perfect and very fast.
If you live in USA then you should use US hostings. Otherwise, it is better to use european servers. They are very fast and not overloaded. But be aware, some of them set a limit in quantity of files allowed to upload onto server. This is very bad. Do not use such hosting.
DateBook is fast and even faster than any dating theme on the market among WordPress. So the theme will work on any server. Even shared.

I don’t know. I didn’t test the theme for such purposes. DateBook is a standard theme and uses WordPress functions. So if WordPress can work the way you described then DateBook can work the same way.

Friend request is sent to an email, also can be seen in the notification panel and menu (it is located in the user menu on top). 3. No, WooCommerce is not required for DateBook subscription. DateBook has only 2 gateways PayPal and Paystack, and directly connects to these gateways.

Try to resave permalinks here: WordPress – Settings – Permalinks (notice: do not select Plain format). Only countries and cityes were specially translated into German. Because the most difficult part in translation is to translate all cities. None of the theme offers such care about their customers

I am using the theme on a multisite installation, with different theme (sex,love,etc)datebook sites but when a user register with same mail on different “frontend/site”, the user isn’ t silently added to another site and the error mail already used is thrown. Probably this is a “feature” of wordpress multisite install, but i searched for some plugin to fix this, but are all deprecated… Maybe do you have an easy solution? Maybe for a next update? That could fix the theme multisite compatibility almost at 100% from my exp on it…

Pagick hey, so a couple of days ago i wrote you about an error on the subscriptions text, when you select some specific dates in the subscription tab is fine but when the users are going to select some it shows as 1 # # # # # 20extracted.pot (PACKAGE VERSIOM) # # #21 exctracted.pot (PACKAGE VERSION) # # # now the same thing happens with the last seen text, it’s like it can’t show some periods of time and instead it changes them with that text above, can you help me fixing that please?

Thank you for the screenshot. This is really strange. This is an online indicator. But Subscription and Online do not have anything affecting each other. Even this online function must not have such an error.
I just checked the Online function on my side. Everything is ok. I cannot find anything that could generate that error.
Perhaps, some error exists in the language file “datebook.pot” (wp-content/plugins/datebook/languages/datebook.pot). Could you reupload it?

1) You should select this option here WordPress – DateBook – Dashboard – Subscription tab – Force redirect to Subscription page. After that, all logged in members will be redirect to the subscription page and a warning message will be asking to select a plan.
2) In WooCommerce you should select DateBook Cart, Checkout and Subscription pages instead of WooCommerse Cart Checkout and My account pages.

How would I be able to set up 2 different domains targeting different audiences?
Now the theme requires one profile for one user. Two different domains would have 2 different profiles for 2 different users.
In the future versions, users would be able to register once on one domain and have profiles on all domains connected to the one same database.
Will this work on PHP version 5.6.36
Few functions were made on PHP 7.3. They are not critical. So the theme may work on php 5.6 but some functions would not be executed. It is better not to use the theme on the old php. The answer “NO”.
