Hello, since updating to WP5.5 (and updating the theme & related plugins), essential grid has stopped working on the front end. Grid previews in the plugin look fine but nothing resolves (not even a spinner) – so now have big white space on the home page – help!

Have you also updated the Essential Grid plugin itself? Can you check if you have installed version 3.0.6?

If so, can you navigate to Ess. Grid -> Global Settings and press the save button at the bottom of the page to see if that fixes the issue?

Also, if you have any caching plugin running please delete/clear the caches too.

Yup – running EssGrid 3.0.6 Cleared caches, deactivated caching plugin, cleared and switched off essential grid caching, re-saved Global Settings – and it didn’t help :(

After updating the theme to the latest version please make sure to update the Advanced Custom Fields PRO and Essential Grid bundled plugins as well.

To update the ACF PRO plugin to the latest version please deactivate and delete the current installed version from your website. Then you can re-install the latest version via Appearance -> Install Plugins

The Essential Grid plugin can be updated directly via Appearance -> Install Plugins

Please let me know if that fixes the issue.

First please check if the “Advanced Custom Fields PRO” plugin is still activated. If not you can install and activate this bundled plugin via Appearance -> Install Plugins.

Also, while editing the homepage make sure the “template” setting in the “Page Attribute” metabox is set to “Front Page Slider”.

Now the slider should be visible again.

That’s strange and should not happen. Unfortunately it’s hard to say what is exactly causing the issue.

After updating to WordPress 5.5 have you updated the theme and all plugins to the latest version as well?

If not, please try this first to see if that fixes the issue.

There is a bug in the latest version (2.3.1) and I tried opening a ticket to advise the dev of this bug, but my support has expired and therefore I can’t open a bug report. I had the same problem as @pedrocarj and @lukeskybaker with Theme Update to v2.3.1. Updating The Landscaper Toolkit plugin did not fix the code error either in the-landscaper/parts/jumbotron-fullwidth.php. (*using Child theme, so I had to update there.)

In your attached code the slide heading tag option will not work anymore because the H1 tag is now hardcoded. Also it will probably start giving issues when you update/save the frontpage because the first slide heading tag variable is still added before the hardcoded H1 so another heading tag will be added.

I’m not sure why updating the The Lanscaper Toolkit plugin doesn’t fix the issue for you but can you revert your changes to the jumbotron-fullwidth.php file and change line 75, 76 and 77 to this:

if ( get_sub_field( ‘slide_heading_tag’ ) ) {
$slide_heading_tag = get_sub_field( ‘slide_heading_tag’ );
} else {
$slide_heading_tag = ‘h1’;
}

Hello, is it possible to remove the word “Shop” that appears in small font in the page-header of woo product pages?

Can you first try to set the shop page setting via WooCommerce -> Settings -> Products to the correct shop/products page to see if that fix the issue.

If that doesn’t work I can provide you the following CSS fix to hide the text:

body.single-product .page-header { text-indent: -9999px; } body.single-product .main-title { text-indent: 0px; }

Hello, the recent theme update to 2.3 broke the text formatting on the homepage slider. I had to roll back to 2.2 and it resolved the issue. I have Additional CSS entered in the theme options customization, please see these screenshots below and let me know if you have any thoughts on how to fix, thank you! (Also, the Site Origins Builder plugin is up to date).

The code in the jumbotron PHP file should be fine. The “slide_heading_tag” is a new option added in the latest theme version which requires an update of the “The Landscaper Toolkit” plugin.

At the top of your WordPress admin dashboard there should be a notice about an update of the The Landscaper Toolkit plugin. You can install this update via the plugins tab.

That should fix the issue.

Another update and problem still persist. Slider shows this html code < class=”carousel-heading-tag”>, before “heading” text. https://prnt.sc/tn1l7u

Also, if you’re using a child theme that copied the jumbotron-fullwidth.php file to the child theme folder make sure to update the code from the parent theme.

I have news. I managed to update the plugin by installing the template on a local server manually and installing the demo version. I took the updated file from the directory and placed it on the official server. But now, the menu is not showing up and this plugin appears as suspicious code in my security check. I purchased the Landscaper theme 4 months ago and have had no problems with it until now. There Advanced Custom Fields PRO needs to be updated but the update is requiring me to subscribe to ACF for an additional fee. This is disappointing as the theme was included in the cost of the theme originally. How can I update the theme without have to pay a fee yet again….or it is possible to use the free version of the theme with the same results. If plug-ins that are included in the theme are going to late require a subscription, I believe you should let buyers know that ahead of time so they can include that in the costs for the client.

The Advanced Custom Fields PRO plugin comes for free with the theme, you don’t have to purchase this separately.

You can update the ACF PRO plugin by following these steps:

1. First make sure you have updated the theme to the latest version (see the update steps here)
2. De-activate and delete the current installed ACF PRO plugin from your WordPress installation
3. Go to “Appearance -> Install Plugins” and install the ACF PRO plugin
4. Activate the plugin

Hi, sorry, the theme is fantastic, but from today if I insert the images into the gallery of fancybox, even if they are 800×800 like the I had always done, now, fancybox cut all the icons making them rectangular. I also reset the media insertion of wordpress, it’s all square but now it continues to make them rectangular, please I need a help. Thanks!

1. There is no specific e-commerce plugin for agriculture. The WooCommerce plugin is by far the most popular and used plugin for e-commerce on WordPress. If you want to sell products on your website this is the plugin you’ll need.

2. There are plugins available for this you can find them in the plugin directory of WordPress

3. I’m sorry but I’m not familiar with plugins for restaurants. Please try above link to search the plugin directory.

4. I don’t think there is a specific plugin for agriculture maps. The only map plugins that are available are just Google Maps, Leaflet and other map service providers.

Hi there, I have used you theme a lot of times and I am trying to use it for a demo at the moment – I am having a lot of issues with it. Is this due to an update or are there new issues that are happening. Normally is goes very smooth for me. Mike

For the mo I have to renew support, thought I would not have an issue. Can PHP be a problem. I might go to a new clean set up I think, but will leave till start next week.
