Can you guide me on how to add the search link to the dashboard. I also figured that when the search page link is opened on another tab, it gives an error.
Link to the search page must be placed in the primary menu. Usually next to the logo. On our demo website, you can see the primary menu next to logo (Home, Search, Classifieds, Tours). The search page is not the item that has any attitude to the user account. That’s why it is not added to the dashboard. Hi, alright i addded the search to the primary menu and it shows but i noticed after a user is logged in, the menu is distorted; like i dont know if it is because the menus are more th=an the space. And for some reason i dont understand, the Primary menu disappears and reappear from time to time.

By default, the emoji were saved in the settings incorrectly in the previous versions. You should resave emojis. Please, copy the list of emojis above and paste them in the text area. You may paste your own emojis taken form other sources. See https://prnt.sc/vdb1ji

Hi, i have tried and tried but couldn’t get what i want…i actually want banner in the default homepage to slide so i can have 3 slides withou losing the seach form, login & Signup link above the search form, the logo and other things presently on the homepage but as soon i switch to Brizy page builder from wprdpress builder, all of the things pre-designed immediately disappears and i just couldnt recreate that design. I could create the slider(after clicking the black button by the top right like to asked me to) but just couldnt have the search form, login & signup link, logo, short description of the dating platform, fotter and other stuffs that come with the default design.
My second issue is after a message is sent from one account to the another account, the other account doesnt receive the email. I have just been battling with all this amongst other things on the dashboard that arent working.

Hi, First issue relates to Brizy page builder. I did not try a slider in that page builder yet.
Second issue is Email. The mail function is usually disabled on the most hosting servers. But they allow SMTP connection. So install the WP mail SMTP plugin. It always helps.

You can update the theme very easy. The latest WordPress allows to do it easily. Just upload the archive file you downloaded from ThemeForest.
1) Go here: WordPress -> Appearances -> Themes -> Add New.
2) After uploading the warning will ask if you like to replace the current theme folder. Say “Yes”. Confirm and continue.
3) After updating, another warning message will ask if you like to replace the plugin folder. Say “Yes”. Confirm.
That’s it. Do not worry! Nothing will be lost.

1) Yes, it is possible to display provinces only if you have profiles in 1 country only. Or you enabled only 1 country here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Countries and Cities. But if you enabled more countries and profiles have been added to 2 countries at least, then the search form and the front page will show countries first.
2) Are you talking about the User menu (Register and Login links)? I guess yes. It is right. If you are logged in then the register and login links will disappear, instead, you should see the user menu links (Messages, Photos, Notification and etc.)
3) Register (User menu) can be control here: WordPress -> DateBook -> Design and Style -> User menu -> User menu: align. At the same time, you should play with the Primary menu in combination with the User menu menu: WordPress -> DateBook -> Design and Style -> Primary menu -> Primary menu: align.

Hello after updating my wordpress to the latest version, the customizer shows blank. It only works when I disactivate the datebook plugin.

The verification link are not sent because nowadays, almost all servers disabled the direct mail function on their servers. They allow only smtp connection. In this case, you should install the WP mail SMTP plugin. It always helps.
I had to uninstall the site and reinstall again to the previous wordpress version before it works. At the moment i do not want to update the wordpress version because it will not work and i cant reverse the update. Unless you can assure me of rectifying it then i will update to the latest version and send you the screen now.
Also I am about to instal the WP mail SMTP plugin to see if it will solve the email issue.
I guess the home page was not selected here: WordPress -> Settings -> Reading. Please, check it.
The theme works on the latest WordPress 5.5.3. It is ok. No need to reinstall anything. Even if the installation was not fully, the theme can wait. Just complete the installation and correct settings. After that, the theme will work correctly.
Again after the update the site is too slow, gt mterix shows 19s, before update 2.9s.
What’s the problem?
try to disable these options:
1) WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Profile tab -> Send a notification again to a user about unverified email address.
2) WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Profile tab -> Delete Profiles who did not verify their email within. Set this to 0.
3) WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Simulation tab -> Enable Simulation of online presence.
4) WordPress -> DateBook -> Dashboard -> Simulation tab -> Enable simulation of profile views.
This is the only options that make heavy requests to database. If these all do not help then you could try to install the theme on another test server (absolutely different hosting server because the same server may have problem with performance, database, security, modules), on local server on your PC.
Perhaps, you already did these, but try to disable all plugins.
We run the theme on several different servers. It runs fast on all servers. If the theme ran slowly, of course, I tried to find the weak place of the theme.
I do not know what is the problem. I did that too but it’s the same.

I do not know what happens on your side. But it is better if you install the latest update 4.4.8, and latest WordPress 5.5.3. Everything must perfectly. The latest update has more improvements and all bugs fixed.

Your server, especially PHP settings has some limits. Please, try to find ALL possible limits and increase them, especially time. Increase any settings which has time. That’s why your website encounters errors.
