When using WordPress you would be able to create website using a user friendly interface connected to a database whereas in HTML you will have to make changes in the code using a text editor and no database is maintained in it. Hi, I was a customer of the HTML version of this Theme. I ended-up buying the Wordpress Version to speed-up things. The documentation seems great and I enjoy the getting started videos. It would be STELAR if instead of background music you could have a speaker explaining what happens in the video. I’ll get back to work now. Thanks for your work.

I understand that the theme has a built in event manager but I use The Events Manager instead? I have features that I need that require the use of that software.

Would there be any issues integrating it? I really like the countdown to the next event and would like to maintain that functionality.
Any third party plugin will works as per it’s own features and you won’t be able to use theme’s built in event manager’s features like the countdown you see on the home page of the demo. Thanks
None of the Gallery videos work when clicked on, even though the YouTube links are valid and working. For example, click any YouTube video portrayed here: https://meetmeunderthebridge.org/mmutb-gallery/
Additionally, the gallery collapses on itself unless we activate “Enable jQuery Migrate Helper” which means the Native Church theme’s jQuery has still not been updated to current standards. We have theme version 3.6 loaded and everything else is current and conflict-free. It appears the theme is not properly maintained.

As your website is using secure https and the Youtube URLs I see are still on http which is making the gallery to not open unsecured content. You need to update your YouTube URLs in the gallery posts to use https://
All problems with the jQuery conflicts are not fixed in the theme. Make sure you have cleared your browser cache. Also make sure you are using the latest version of theme i.e. v3.6.1

All internal and external links are assigned HTTPS. Your version history on the theme landing page fails to list version 3.6.1, which has been an ongoing oversight. However, we did update it and that version makes no difference. The gallery still collapses in Firefox Developers 85.0b7 if “Enable jQuery Migrate Helper” is not activated. The videos still open a popup box without content in Firefox Developers 85.0b7 and Google Chrome 87.0.4280.141 (tested with “Enable jQuery Migrate Helper” activated and not activated). It is clear the theme is still not properly updated and has real problems that are easy to identify.
For the videos try activating the “Magnific Popup” option from Theme Options => Lightbox Options.
For the galleries overlapping in the Firefox browser, I am reporting it to my development team.

So theme version 3.6.1 came out claiming the gallery is fixed in Firefox. It is NOT. The gallery images still cascade over each other in Firefox Developers version 85.0b9. Theme version 3.6.2 the same problem still exists. You might need to get a new developer.
Sorry but I didn’t experience the problem while working on the update. The firefox fix mentioned in the changelog is for some other problem where the filters were not working in the Windows PC. Please email me your website’s details at envato[at]imithemes.com so that I can check your website.

1. You can input any text or HTML to show at the right of header style 3 in place of search box. This can be added from Theme Options => Header https://a.cl.ly/NQuKJlZO
2. FYI Sticky post only works on the posts(blog) page of your website. This page is set at your WP Dashboard => Settings => Reading
3. Sorry, event views doesn’t show images except the grid view.

Hi imithmes, I have been running the Native Church theme and recently run into an issue with google events. The time for each event shown in the theme is behind by one hour than what is in google calendar. Assuming it has to do with Daylight Savings time. Can you plz indicate if there is a setting that needs to be enabled in the theme?
Hoping i don;t need to purchase support for this one question that is related to quick setting that i am missing in the theme somewhere.

Does syncing with Google calendar mean that I can create new events in Google and that they automatically appear on the site? Or does it mean I can sync events from the site to my Google calendar? Or both?

Google events works one way syncing events from Google to NC theme’s calendar. So yes, if you create events in your Google Calendar they will show on your website’s calendar.

I had the same error when I turned off cloudflare. I’ll bring it up with the host, they are usually very helpful and I’ll open a ticket with you guys as there are a few other issues.
