Updat or Not? WordPress 5.5.x, jQuery.live()??? Thanks

Is there an update for the theme? I am trying to use the google font “yesteryear” for the headlines, but it is not possible to do any changes within the theme options. The blue “save all changes”-button isn’t working anymore. I can’t do any changes anymore.

theme options for NUVO does not work anymor on the recent WP installations. Can you please update!!!

Hi, I was checking the demo https://demo.cmssuperheroes.com/themeforest/wp-nuvo-rustic/ and could see that the homepage and subpages are loading quite slow. And this is holding me back from purchasing it.

I am helping a client who is using your theme, but it has a lot of issues with the recent version of WordPress, since the included plugins are not compatible.

The recent update to the theme is from April 2019, so over 1½ year old.

When do you expect to have a fix/update ready?

One month ago you promised me an update to fix issues with latest update WP 5.5. This is what you wrote after I send you an email with requested information: “Hi, Please wait some days to we can update theme and notice for you Thank you!” I did not receive any notice and your theme isn`t updated here either.

The Demo Installation stops at 5% . Is there a short way to fix it?

Theme options don’t respond with last updates to WP5.x. -> smof.js > Uncaught TypeError: $(...).live is not a function

Hi, I can’t install demo data, it stuck at 5% progress.When I try to install manually, system show “Failed to import MediaRemote server returned the following unexpected result: Not Found (404)”.

Hi, the theme is not compatible with latest update of WordPress 5.5 (jquery-migrate no longer enabled). Editing does not work anymore through backen, caused by /wp-content/themes/wp_nuvo/js/upload.js:6:36): jQuery.fn.live() is deprecated Any plans to update this theme?? Thank you!

I had the same issue as many here with WPBakery not working after WP 5.5 update. Until WPBakery can fix it, this plugin will work: Enable jQuery Migrate Helper (free and from wp.org). You will still see errors explaining what needs to be fixed but the backend editor will work. It’s a work-around until they fix it.
