Hi, I’m having an issue that every click on the navigation does not scroll down to that section, but rather re-loads a new page (with the loading animation) then shows the correct anchor area link.
Also is there a way to change the menu for subpages? Right now the front page menu of your theme uses anchor links (which would scroll normally) but when I visit a different page those will no longer work.
Anchor links work the same on all pages. If the page overloads, it means that the link URL does not match the current page URL. Compare the page URL carefully. A common mistake is the protocols or prefixes do not match. For example http://... and https://... or www.domain.com and domain.com

Any page created using Layers or from theme presets will have the same features as Home page in demos.
Great. I just want to have scrolling effect for inner pages. Eg. About Us will be a separate page and sub links such as Vission & Mission, Board of Directors, Management, CSR, etc… can be view using scrolling effect. Further I need to have mobile menu below the logo in left side. Can these two things done using this theme?
You can create additional pages just like the home, but the menu and logo cannot be swapped.
Great. in tabs (checked in ipad pro) and mobile the slider dots are not visible. Is there any configuration available?
Further the hamburger menu is not getting close automatically. Can we configure it to close when user clicks a menu item?
Unfortunately, only such behavior is supported as on the demo site.
Hi there – I have an issue with embedding vimeo videos in a blog post – can’t see to have them display at fuil heigh-width. They are currently not corresponding to vimeo embed code and are also very small when using the native embed function in the editor. https://pasteboard.co/JDlCIuK.png

Is it possible for to get the logo to split the menu eg in the middle with menu items to the left and to the right?
This is not supported by Skrollex.
I moved my project form a test server to a production server, and updated the URL.
Now, the home page says “Coming Soon” on the server that I moved the site to, and looks normal on the development server.
Can you help me fix?
Skrollex does not display this message. Perhaps you have some other theme activated or it is displaying some kind of plugin.

Hi there – can you please tell me how to remove the ‘pause’ button which shows up in my vimeo background video when using SX Background Video widget? Maybe this information help you to resolve this issue: “If you are the video’s owner though and have a paid account (basic users cannot edit embed settings), you have the ability to hide all of these things in the video settings. If you visit https://vimeo.com/manage/[YOUR-CLIP-ID]/v2/embed”

SX Background video does not play on mobile?
I need to show a landscape video on desktop and a portrait video on mobile, is that possible?
Background video is disabled in mobile browsers for security reasons. There is no way to enable video in background on mobile devices. Mobile browsers allow to run the video only if user click on the Play button. Autoplay is disabled by mobile browsers. Because background video is displayed without the controls, it could not be implemented.

After doing some research, I found out that this can be done in the latest versions of Chrome and Safari. In the near future I will publish an update with mobile video support for self hosted video (for video files, hosted on your WordPress).
I am trying to use SX Background Video but when I try to use YouTube or Vimeo, the video does not play automatically.
And using a local video file, it loops forever.

Hi! Just a few questions before I purchase this theme (to make sure it is right for my needs)
Can other items be made to pop-up like the gallery images do? I have some links I would like to open up in the same way – showing more images and text, but are not gallery items. For example, I would like the Team member pictures to open like a gallery (and remove the social hover details). I would also like buttons to be able to open up a popup like the gallery has – is this possible?
Can other site pages be created that are not featured on the homepage (for example if I need a Terms & Conditions page, or a general contact page that people can land on).

The theme is not tested with third-party plugins, but most third-party plugins should work fine with the pages in a regular WordPress editor. Plugins that work as shordcodes should work fine with pages in Layers.
The features you asked about and which are not shown in the demo are not supported by the theme, but most likely can be obtained using third-party plugins.
The theme has not been tested with translation plugins. I think WPML will most likely not work with pages created in Layers, but it will probably work with pages in a normal editor. The easiest way to create a website in multiple languages is to use WordPress in multisite mode. The theme has been tested and works fine in multisite mode.

Thank you. Is the version of Layers used in this theme the latest release that is compatible with Elementor (Layers 3.0) – as if it is not the case it means the entire theme will break once Layers is updated?
Layers for Elementor is another product from the same developer. This product it is not supported by Skrollex. Skrollex only supports the version of Layers that is referenced in the current theme documentation. Also Skrollex is not tested with Elementor.

I had two questions though about it:
- Can I remove specific Layers themes from the list available (this way clients don’t click on the wrong one when creating new pages and get confused)? - Can the loading animation be changed someplace? - Can the hover animation for links (with the animated [ and ] on the sides) be adjusted (such as changing into just be an underline border)?

One more question, but is there a list of supported icons? I am trying to change the column icon, but the fontawesome classes I’m using are not showing anything (such as: fas fa_om )
You can use font-awesome classes, but the theme uses the FontAwesome version, which is included in the Layers. This is not the latest version, so some icons may not be supported. Try installing the latest version of FontAwesome using WordPress plugins if you want to use unavailable icons.

Unfortunately, these features are not supported. This can only be done if you have coding skills.

HI I get “sorry you are not allowed to access this page” when i hit the save button after changing colours. they change on desktop screen but when i check on my phone the colours do not change. I have cleared cache on phone. Also is there a way to put a logo over the images on the home page instead of text

Typically, this message is displayed if you are logged in as a user who does not have permission to edit the theme. To check this, look in the admin panel. You should see the ‘Appearance / Theme Editor’ section.
I have read other comments in this section and went through everything i saw and also got my host provider to check permissions their end but still not working, I am going to delete everything and start again as I’m only at the beginning, I will let you know.

Perhaps I am not understanding correctly which slider you are talking about. Please send a link to page and describe where to see this border, if possible.
I think I understand. The color scheme only affects the SX Sections, because this widget is represented by the theme itself. The other widgets are made by third-party developers. It can be widgets from Layers or from WordPress core or from plugins. They have their own color settings, or they may not, and the default settingsare used in this case .

Depends on which slider you are using. The SX Section is customizable with a theme color scheme. If you use some other slider, then it will be displayed with the default settings or has its own color settings.

What plugin are you using for the grid? Maybe this plugin has not been tested or is not compatible with the latest version of WordPress.

my site https://schachtrainer-berlin.de/ has gained a lot since Skrollex is working. Unfortunately something severe has happened and the color scheme drastically changed and I can't revert it.I really like the Polly Design and implemented it and just tweaked the link color to a light blue (celeste) - because the white link color can't be seen in the Polly design scheme.After installing security plugins I can't change the appearance with the costumizer. More so, the default page appearance has changed and I can't change it with the costumizer or with the settings on the left border. Either it wouldn't change and if it lets me, I can't save them because Wordpress then tells me I haven't got the rights to do so (I am the only user in this system and therefore admin).Schachtrainer Berli n on smaller devices.
Otherwise Polly is perfect for me.
Maybe it’s enough to transfer some updated files via FTP – all the security plugins have already been deactivated (which isn’t ideal because I can see via the 404 log that people are trying to hack the system).

FernandoIf the security plugin does not allow changing the theme settings, you need to understand the plugin settings or disable it temporarily.
To restore all settings of the Polly preset simply create one more page from the “POLLY: Page + Site Settings” preset. This will create another page but will not delete the pages that have already been created. You can then delete this new page, but the main thing is that this operation will restore the theme settings to Polly design. Before do this mandatory do the following:
1) Temporary disable the security plugin that does not allow you to manually change the settings since it can prevent doing this automatically.
2) Make a backup copy of your WordPress using any plugin from WordPress repository for this purpose. This will allow you to roll back if you are not satisfied with the result.
Thank you very much, it helped. That one perticular page I can’t change, but everything else is fine now again. The security plugin had an option to not allow php changes via the web interface. That was the reason why I couldn’t change anything via the preferences function on the left boarder.

I have another problem, there’s a hamburguer menu as default on the website when opened on desktop that I don’t know where to change the links there. I would like to delete this one how can I do it? Wihtout deleting the hamburguer menu on mobile devices that shows the nav items
You can create two or only one menu in the Appearance / menus. Menu which is assignment to Header Menu (checkbox on bottom) will be displayed fully on desktop and as hamburger on mobile. Menu which is assigment to Extended Menu will be displayed as gamburger on both devices.
Where is the LayersWP theme.. Why isn’t it in the Main Files.. I never had any theme without the parent theme????
