Unacceptable error msg: Opencart 3.0.3.6 does not fully support PHP 7.4.11 version!—> Of cource opencart does support it, this is Journal’s message and it is not right. Pls fix!.

Hello, is there a way in Journal 2 using Super Filter to only show the filter results that have the option and the stock for that option is > 0. For example if the products stock for L size is 0 stop showing the products as a result of the L size filter.. Thank you!

I added the following codes to the Exception Data section of the SEO plugin; fmin, fmax, fq, fc, fm, ft, fo2, fo11, fa13, fa15, fa27, fa26

Hi, I have a quick question … I’m still using Journal 2.16.8 (I know it’s discontinued), if at some point my hosting provider upgraded to the php version to … example 7.4 …. Will J2.16.8 work with version 7.4? What is the highest php version I can use that doesn’t affect J2.16.8?

PS: I know that OC has its limitations with new versions of php, but I am more concerned about the maximum allowed in J2.16.8.

Hi, we haven’t tested this, but it most likely won’t work with PHP 7.4, consider using PHP 7.3 or lower.

Hello, I have just updated to 3.1.5. and get an error message when switching the language. It says that the connection is not 100% secure. It only happens when I am logged in with my test account.

Now, I don’t have an account on your demo page but that one acts strange as well. First I type demo as login and password which does not work of course. Then I switch the language and the page tells me that I should change my password because it’s been compromised. I don’t have an account so this message doesn’t make sense. Something isn’t right imho. Hope you can replicate it.

Correction: it happens only in Chrome browser, both mobile and desktop (Edge, Firefox and Brave all work fine) and only when the home page is loaded. Categories, Product pages etc. don’t have that problem.

Hi sir I found the problem with Google reCAPTCHA when disabling it the confirm order work fine if enable it the confirm order not working its just happiness in the journal theme, I test it on opencart default checkout, and the confirm order work fine

this theme works very slowly on windows. (30+ second) do you have any suggestions.

It hasn’t been deleted, it just expired, like any other subscription you have, once activated it will eventully expire if you don’t use it.

Envato support is the same. You buy a theme licence which comes with a 6 month support subscription included. The license is yours forever, but the support period, however, expires 6 months after theme purchase.

You now have the option to renew the support period for another 6 months, which you might want to do if you need to file tickets with our developers.

This is how Envato support works, we (the authors of the Journal theme) didn’t make these rules, it’s just the way the marketplace works.

And that’s exactly what we do. Even after support is expired we continue to help whenever we can and always fix any theme related bugs that are reported here in the comments without asking for anyone to buy support.

However, your query is not some theme related issue, it’s something generic that requires some investigation by our developers.

Moreover, the majority of Journal users renew support when needed, it wouldn’t be fair to them to provide free support when investigations on your end are required.
