Found another issue that is definitely not a plugin malfunction. I attempted to make an image gallery, not a portfolio/case study, but a picture gallery.
You can do this by clicking portfolio-add new-blue square with a plus symbol (top left of page) -image gallery and then provide a category. The problem is the image grid has the images all different sizes regardless of what you choose, they are all completely pixelated and you can’t click on any of the images to view larger in a lightbox. Not one of them is clickable so you are left with a mess on a page as a portfolio.
The only workaround I’ve seen is to use the “media grid” module through wp-bakery but then you can’t link them easily to categories.

The image gallery used in the page is a default WordPress Gutenberg element (it’s not a theme element), the images in this gallery element are cropped by default, if you want to disable this click on the element in Gutenberg then disable “Crop images” option. The default Gutenberg gallery element doesn’t have an image lightbox option, however, we will add image lightbox elements in WPBakery and Elementor in future updates.
Concerning the demo portfolio gallery page, the images are displayed in the page using the Image element and it’s not designed to have a lightbox.

I gave your new theme a try. I must say the functions and new design possibilities are really great. Also the logic of where settings are to be set are good. So one can quickly adapt if you used to other themes with wpbakery builders. I hope your theme will become one of the top one’s und you’ll keep up the great support over the next years. Also your knowledge base is great for beginners.
One thing which I couldn’t figure out is how to create a full column video in your megamenu like the one here: https://essentials.pixfort.com/original/under the menu title “shop” on the right side. If I got it right it’s not documented in your knowledge base. If you have a quick tip how to solve this – that would be great.

Apparently the option to save a specific section on a page (The gear icon) as a template has been disengaged with this theme….why? It’s extremely time consuming to have to recreate and personalize every element on each page from the Pixfort templates provided. Am i missing something? Thanks

There’s a conflict in WPBakery plugin with the latest version of WordPress 5.6 which is causing this issue (the issue is not related to the theme and it happens with any other theme), and the issue will be solved in the next update.

Hello, when im importing the demo, im getting sucess, but errors – why is this? I cannot find anything in the documentation if the errors – are preventing the full demo import from working.
Broken menu links (blank) sub pages are there but no menu has been added.

I am asking because one time I bought a theme and the elements on the demo pages were created by using custom CSS. So, there were no options to change via settings tab of widgets.

The header height adapates the content inside the header (for example the logo element height which you can change from logo settings), and you can add spacings between elements via the Space element.

I am very pleased by the look of the demos of Essentials, and I am interested in purchasing this elegant theme but there’s one thing that is stopping me…
Why aren’t you using Elementor Pro? I saw a lot of other themes using the PRO version to give users of the theme the ability to use it with the FREE version (with limited features on the theme side) or with the PRO (to get the full potential out of the theme when paired with Elementor).
For example (and this is my main concern for not buying your theme now): The “Original” demo of WPBakery has the “Discover some of Essentials features” section with (TABS), while Elementor’s doesn’t and only shows sticky content.

If I do use Elementor PRO, would this work for me as in WPBakery or it is going to be like in your demo of Elementor? Cause this is a very big difference to me. And using WPBakery is kind of “awful” in my preference compared to Elementor Pro.
Please clarify this for me, and tell me if it’s gonna be possible for me to achieve the same look of WPBakery’s tabbed sticky section with your theme paired with Elementor Pro. And if there are any plans on moving to support the PRO version soon in near updates.

The theme uses the free version of elementor, and many users don’t have the paid version (elementor pro) and they don’t need to purchase it in order to use the theme since all demos are built using the free version.
Concerning the elements that contain nested elements (for example: Tabs), these are custom pixfort elements in WPBakery, and at the moment Elementor builder (Free version and Pro version) both don’t support nested elements inside other elements (so it’s not possible to have the same element even in Elementor Pro), however, it has a simple version (text only) of the tabs element.
