1. Download the theme again from the ThemeForest account, where you initially purchased it. The download will be under your buyer account – Downloads.
2. Unzip the theme pack
3. Go to wp-admin/Appearance-Themes and activate a different theme
4. Find resideo theme and click delete.
5. Install again the theme from Appearance > Themes > Add New and select resideo.zip from the latest theme pack
6. Activate the theme
IMPORTANT: all your theme settings will NOT change during this process. But the language files you had in the /resideo/languages folder will be deleted if you choose this method and if your language files are not in child theme.

I need a solution that I can translate manually both my content and the theme’s content like custom fields, amenities and everything… Can you suggest 1 or 2 plugins that will do the job. Regarding the translation, the theme and theme’s plugin have language files, which can be translated using a plugin, or a stand-alone software(PoEdit) without having to touch the code. I suggest using this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/

Thank you! Loco plugin is very helpful. But I need to make my project multi-language with switcher. For example WPML, Polylang etc… What is better for your THEME. I have tried Polylang but seems has incompatibility issues.

Of Course! The issue is with the PROPERTIES. Everything else seems to work fine.
First issue: I made a duplicate page of a property, in one the description is in greek and in the other is in English. I have translated the strings’ labels with POLYLANG and the theme’s text like “overview”, virtual tour” with LOCO. When I have tried to to publish and switch between languages, some of the titles were translated and other not! For example, the “overview” title was the in the same language in both post (greek and English). I have managed to make it work by relocating the PO in SYSTEM ( in AYTHOR and CUSTOM the word “overview” was not translated).
Next issue: Even if the two property posts are independent to each other and the two posts have deferent slugs (the one is a duplicate of the other), somehow they are related! example: in the greek version I write the Address of the property in Greek. The address became greek also in the duplicated English version of it. I have also tried to build a new property (not a duplicate) and then relate the two pages. Same issue. When I update the address input in one language, the change propagate to the other related page (but only the address. The rest of the content is in the proper language!) Same with the agent’s info. If you update and visit the greek page first , you have the agent’s info in greek (and this is correct), when you switch language to English, you continue to see the greek version of the agent’s info in the English version of the post.
If all this sound complicated, I cloud try to make a video but I think you understand the issue without.

1.1. You can add your own fields for contact form in Dasboard > Resideo > Contact Form Fields 1.2. The other elements like Title and receiving email are set in home page edit, last section at the bottom.
2. Same as 1.
3. and 4. Regarding the content edit, the demos were exported using the WordPress Classic Editor. So we recommend for starting with a demo to install the Classic Editor plugin.

So my guess is that it should work with any theme by connecting the fields.

Hi. with the new update I have lost my translations…and when I try to create a new one (using loco translate, as instructed by your documentation) no one appears! Looks like nothing is translatable now. Another problem: The shopping places, transport and another points of interest still not showing on the map. I already have configured my google services as instruted.

Hello, I’m having trouble installing this theme and also getting the demo templates for the theme can you help? After installing the theme is telling me that it failed because after unpacking the folder is seems to be missing the style.css stylesheet.

Please make sure when install the theme, first unpack the package received from themeforest, that is not the theme you need to install. After unzip-ing the package, you’ll find inside a folder called theme and in it a zip file > that is the theme file.

Thank, I have followed the directions to get the theme installed correctly but there seems to be no templates or demo to choose from. I’ve clicked on the Resideo. command under dashboard, clicked theme setup, and clicked on the demo/template to use for my site. It shows the setting up of file but nothing happens… Can you please help on what are the next steps to get these templates up and running?
Okay, I already followed the instructions for theme setup and chosen demo 1 to setup my website theme but I’m not getting anything.
Inside the received package there is a folder called Demos that contains several XML demo content files that can help you getting started.
Choose the demo that you like and import it by using this tool: Tools > Import > WordPress.

Hi, I fixed it temporarly by adding this code in the page-header.php l.393 file of the resideo plugin:
