Hi, i have add the Newsletter subscribe button on the main menu, but not found the option to add the url for external link (no html code, no anchor). I need the users click on Subscribe and will be open another website. Do u know where is the option to insert the url? Thanks

Ah I’m afraid the migration tool doesn’t have an option for that theme. If you can provide admin login details of a site that has reviews published (go to the Codetipi profile page here on Themeforest to send a private email), then it can be checked out to see if an option to the migration tool can be added.

Hi, i think to find an issue. I have setting from tipibuilder my homepage: 2 big posts + 6 small posts. The featured post images not have same size. One big, one small, some are same, etc. I think it need to fix the images size to have a cool design. My website: gerardopandolfi.com

The theme has never been tested with that particular plugin, but if it works well on TwentyTwenty theme (Default WordPress theme) then it should work the same in Zeen. Of course, it would likely override Zeen’s built-in megamenu system and possibly other menu features, depending on what the plugin does exactly.

I’m using 15Zine for some years now and want to change my site a bit. I’m thinking of Fotomag or Zeen Adventure and wonder if the menu on top can be fully transparant at Zeen? Does that move the featured picture up to the top and the content field (top overlay on featured image), if the menu gets 100% transparant?

good morning, I’ll be weird but I love writing articles from the phone. the problem is that the screen is out of phase. I don’t know how to explain. in a nutshell arrived at 10 words (example) another 2 makes me write off the screen and then wraps normally. i deactivated all plugins but i think it’s just the theme. I’m afraid I don’t know of any plugins that do that off the top of my head, but if you search the most popular ad plugins – one of them must do it.
Although, just a word of caution, I’m not 100%, but I don’t believe that AdSense terms of use actually allow you to do that, so I recommend reading their terms before doing that, as if it breaks their terms, your AdSense account could get banned for life!

WP 5.6, Users are contacting us that they can’t login via the login with ajax popup.
They are receiving this error: Please supply your username and password.
When we try it, we get it as well. And if we try to login at /wp-login.php direclty we can login with a test user account. But not on the front end.
Is this a bug ?

Yeah this was a quirk, but it was fixed in Zeen v3.9.8.2 already, just update to the latest version and it’ll all be good

1- Do you mean all your posts to have an auto playing background video? If so, there is an option for that. You can see it in action on this Zeen demo site: https://demos.codetipi.com/zeen-play/ Check out the Unravel 2 Review post on the first grid of the homepage. Is that what you’re wanting to do?
2- Once your 6/12 months support expires, you indeed need to extend it if you wish to ask for any type of theme support/help/etc. This is controlled/set by Themeforest though, you can read the official info about it here: https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/207886473-Extending-and-Renewing-Item-Support
3- You can use any analytics you want, the only time you need Jetpack stats is if you want to show blocks showing trending posts (or the trending megamenu for example). The reason you need Jetpack stats for that functionality is because Jetpack is a WordPress plugin and they open up the stats for themes to be able to use them. Other systems such as Google Analytics are very closed systems and it isn’t possible to get data from them to load on your site in this way. Personally, when I use Jetpack I disable all their modules except for the stats one (the only one I ever need), if you do that, your site will still stay lightweight, as Jetpack is known to be bloated due to the number of module it loads by default.

I have a slight issue with affiliate buttons on Review widget. As my links and Global review colors are the same shade of orange, it’s hard to read the affiliate button (as it’s also a link).

Just a heads up, there is error with iThemes Security and Login with Ajax that makes the plugin unusable, which is a shame. Will also relay this to the plugin developer.

I’ve seen sites recently using iThemes security and login with ajax with no problems. There is currently a Login With Ajax + WordPress 5.6 quirk that stops you from logging in from the frontend, but that has been patched up already and will be included in the soon-to-be released next update. Hey! I’m aware of the Wordpress 5.6 quirk, but the login module isn’t compatible with 2FA it seems (tested on a pre-5.6 server and gives an error and an infinite load loop). Looking forward to the new update, I’m sure it’ll be incredible as always. Thanks!

Before Gutenberg was activated It was possible to have full width images in the main body of posts and not just in the header. Is this something that could be added into the theme as it was really nice to have.

Ah you mean you are converting posts created with the classic editor to Gutenberg editor? If so, then yes, you will need to set the images to be full width the Gutenberg way, as Gutenberg can’t convert classic editor full width images to Gutenberg’s automatically. Happy it’s all good now though
