Is there a way to center the title text on a block? I have gone through every setting I can find and it always left justifies. I’m hoping there’s a way that doesn’t involce CSS. Thanks!

You can update the theme and WordPress in either order, if your hosting company offers you staging site feature you can do it without worries too

Just to warn you there is a bug on article>meta elements options if everything is set to “off” (it still shows some meta elements in a weird way). If 1 or more is set to “on” it’s ok though.
BTW migration tool is far from perfect (a lot of issues to keep the same tipography).

If you look at any of the reviews I’ve done on my home page – https://www.taylorholmes.com you’ll see that the review score is AWOL? Maybe the star font number is too big for the allotted space? Only happens on star ratings, not % ratings. Would prefer not to have to change 1500 movie reviews.

I had a look and see you got a response, but i’ll repeat it here in case it helps: You need to go to Let’s Review > Migration tool as that is where you specifically migrate reviews from older system (such as Valenti’s old review system) to Let’s Review.

I also found an issue when testing on tablet portrait 9” (768px width) the logo and mobile menu button disappear. This is also happening with the demo on Themeforest.

To damdamfefe: Changing colours in the way you describe is not possible even in the new version 5.6. To do this you’ll need to use CSS. Hope this helps before you purchase extra support.

Hi, i bought this theme 1 year ago so i cannot use support anymore, it is keep saying pay 45 dollars for asking a question… I cannot pay this much just to try to understand how to change colors. Pretty sure it is basic but impossible to find it and It’s look like i am not the only one to have those issues… My question is : I Can’t change colors on the main menu (Valenti Dropdown Design with a black grey background. Title and body text color of my post are same colors so it is impossible to read it in valenti dropdown…)

Hm, if you think about it – outside of Themeforest (any digital product, including non-wordpress products, and actually even anything physical, such as your car) you don’t even get access to free product updates unless you pay a yearly subscription fee. Here on Themeforest you get updates for free even years after purchasing a product and you only need to extend your support if you want to get support for the theme.
It’s of course up to you, but if you require theme support you will need to open a ticket at http://codetipi.ticksy.com and someone from support will happily help you out.

Didnt like the new update at all 
Can’t edit most of the colors of the theme.
And here’s some issues after new update: 1) Default Hero Design is not worknig after Update Migration. 2) Rating square on the thumbnail always shows “0” even user rating is not.

Sorry but i dont have time to use Ticksy, i already stated issues here.
The Codetipi support team only work in the support system – these comments are only really for pre-sales (this is how 99% of themes work on Themeforest).
But I can confirm from here that the default hero design does work as expected. If you used the migration tool, then individual posts will have had the hero option inside them set to what you had in the old version. You can reset them to use the global default option again if that’s what you want – open a ticket and the support team can help you with that.

1) Applied viewer rating always shows 0 on thumbnails

Hello. I have a problem with links inside posts…I changed the color for standard and hover but nothing happens. Also the arrow that ups you on the desktop version remains blue eaven if I changed the Global Accent Color Fallback to red.

One question – I have patreon users – that login to see hidden member’s only content. But the login button is AWOL in the upper right that used to be there? Yes, I could tell each and everyone to go to /wp-admin – but it’d be simpler if there was a login button in the upper right like it was before. Ideas?
Also – is the search button missing for anyone else as well? Is that a toggle that just got switched off for some accidental reason?

Re the search and login, due to the new 5.6 framework you need to go to Theme options > Header > Main menu and enable those icons.

One last question? About half of all my posts have a side bar gutter. The older ones do not. And no matter what I change, I can’t get a gutter bar to come back. I can change the hero image size, and whether the content is boxed. But I can’t get the nav bar to come back. Currently losing a lot of ad revenue as a result.

Hi. As of 5.6 update, there’s an issue with the Facebook social sharing option at bottom of a post. It seems that the links adds and extra “http” to the link. This is also happening on Valenti’s demo page.

They then asked you to check in an incognito mobile tab to see if that works for you on your mobile device and if it still doesn’t work, they asked if you could share more info as to the issue you see, because they can’t see anything wrong.
Their response was 20 hours ago, and you haven’t replied at all since, but instead started leaving comments here complaining you aren’t getting support? When you are 100% getting prompt support.
You now say your site was taken down due to a rep, but the site is working absolutely fine right now (I literally went on it a few seconds myself to confirm this) and they haven’t done anything but ask questions in their last response .
I’m honestly very confused :/

OK so I see its ready to download now but the inability to inject code into the header is going to create big issues as you guys actualy supplied me with a ton of header code as part of some support tickets a few years back.
What are the best plugins to migrate that code to instead?
Also Lets review – I have the plugin already so I presume I do not need it and all existing data will look correct?

Also, if you have a big/popular site, definitely use a staging site (if your hosting offers this feature) to have an extra smooth upgrade.

Yes, I read the documentation first and it made mention of getting a plugin in to handle it, would you recommend one that you have tested?
Do you mean the maintenance plugin? If so, you can use any, go into the Add New plugin page, and type in Maintenance mode and you should see a few options. Any of the popular ones will be good.
Although I strongly recommend asking your hosting if they have staging site, as that is the easiest, smoothest and stress-free way to apply big updates like this one
No sorry your documentation stated using a plugin to handle header code injection and I wonder what plugins you could be referring to or the ones you tested as working.
Oh right, I recommend doing it via the child theme as is mentioned there too. As plugins will always add extras that aren’t needed for something as small as this, however, if you want to use a plugin anyway, here is one that should do the job: https://wordpress.org/plugins/header-footer/

As Valenti 5.6 is such a massive update (it’s literally a brand new theme behind the scenes) it will be the first update that needs a update migration tool. It comes with the update and is very simple to do (one click). The documentation has also been updated and will include all the steps to upgrade to 5.6 smoothly.

Is the current theme version compatible with PhP 7.3? I have critical software updates that need it and our server is set to 7.2 but upgradeable to 7.3.

Valenti 5.6 is the first update to be officially 100% compatible with those PHP versions. It’s even compatible with PHP 7.4

So the current theme is not compatible with 7.3 then.
Valenti 5.5.4 isn’t officially compatible, but it should still work fine. You might see warning notices on a staging site (or local dev site), but they are just warnings, not actual problems/bugs/errors.
Production (real live) sites should never be set to show PHP warning notices too, so it’s all fine.
