Hello Goodnight.

I have WordPress version 5.5.3, running Grand Restaurant Theme version 5.9.3.

If I update the theme to version 5.9.4 and then update all plugins to the latest version, and finally update to WordPress version 5.6, the theme’s content editor stops working. If I update WordPress first and then the theme, the result is the same.

In theory version 5.9.4 of the theme is compatible with version 5.6 of WordPress (in fact it includes the correction of a bug with the theme’s content editor).

If with WordPress version 5.5.3 I update to version 5.9.4 of the theme, the content editor continues to work correctly.

Do you know if there are any additional problems with version 5.9.4 compared to version 5.6 of WordPress? What can I do to fix it?

I forgot: now I have the latest version of the theme installed (and all the updated plugins) and I keep the WordPress version 5.5.3. You can see that the content editor currently works. If you update to WordPress 5.6, you will see that the content editor stops working.

I am not able to edit any of my pages since the last update. Everything is updated including the theme and the latest WP core. If I try to edit a page in content builder none of the buttons work. If I edit a section in the content builder it takes me to a blank page with settings but they all seem to have reset. If I press duplicate or edit in classic editor nothing happens. Also, Rev Slider is not showing all my sliders it’s only showing one.

Please could you provide me with a solution?

Hi guys just an update here, my menu items are also frozen, I am not able to drag and drop. I deactivated the theme and activated another theme and the menu items worked. So its def a theme related issue.

In over 10 years I have purchased many templates on envato and this is my first negative review. And I’m really sorry, sincerely. But you have to realize that your builder doesn’t work. It is not friendly, not customizable and these are the minor problems. The major problem is that in 4 months our editor stopped working 2 times. It’s true that the first time I’ve opened a ticket and after 2 days you fixed it. Now I have opened a second ticket. But it is clear that there are a serious bug. This is an e-commerce site and we cannot afford these interruptions. We will ask for a refund. But the biggest damage isn’t the cost of the theme. We have to make the site with a new theme: the time and the energy wasted.. this is the real damage!

What test do you do?! The problem persists. If you using safari. I solved it by myself: I have installed firefox. Stop with these preset responses. Latest version, required plug-in… check first. Don’t always assume that there is an unable or inexperienced person on the other side. Test your theme first, and the COMPATIBILITY with all browser version in your list, before. So… REMOVE SAFARI compatibility from your list. More wasted time, thanks again! And hopefully this is the last time that the builder crashes. Reading the comments I doubt.

Sorry but my patience is finished. Our restaurant open in December. Refund or not we will not wait the third crash. I’ve been making website for over 25 years … I understand when a theme doesn’t work.

Hi there, I purchased this theme back in 2016. It’s been absolutely amazing and we’ve had no issues at all until now. The reservation button has stopped working and I can’t seem to fix it.

I’ve updated the theme files, plugins, php version and everything else possible but it is still not working.

Any ideas on how to get this working again?

Hello, in the section menu grid is it possible to have the images of the food in one row instead of two? Of course having resized the image pictures. How to do that?

Does theme has an option for vertical menu seperators for 2 column and 3 column with css or any other? If I divide the list by 2 or 3 column, prices and 2nd/3rd column names are getting too close to each other. Hope you can help.

What are the required system specs to make theme work correctly? I’m having trouble to work with content builder. It doesn’t answers to my clicks for edit tabs of every sections. Mostly not opening the tabs, not allow to update even I click to update, and never quits from that screen unless I reflesh the page!

Updating the theme fixed it. However the older and newer version were 5.9.3.

Content builder still might be buggy sometimes if you leave it with clicking anywhere on the screen but popup screen.

I purchased this theme back in May but am now just starting to use it. The content builder seems to be malfunctioning. Can not update any pages. I’m at the most up to date theme version. Do I need to re-upload theme?
