Hello guys, Old demos, stil avaliable? I am working with oc 3.0.2.0, but i cant find the old themes, and i really loved one. I get a problem with my host and i lost my data, now i want to reinstall as i had, but no theme of this version is as that i liked.

However, those are only for Journal 2, you can’t use export and import them into Journal 3.

Thanks for previous reply. As i switched to J3 from J2, some website pages are no longer scrolling on iPhones. Any browser, any iOS ver. Why is that happening?

Hi, you don’t have a side column on your layout, therefore the Items per Row will apply under the “No Columns” section, not “One Column” as we have in our demo.
Look in your module and adjust the Items per Row accordingly.

That is not wish I’m saying…. I’m saying the height of it is too big yours is 1280×411 and mine is 1280×765. There is no where to change the height
We answered your question and now I see the products are smaller, you’ve set 4 pe row, instead of 2 like it was before.

Those may be using a different Product Grid style. In the stay you can hide those Stats Journal > Styles > Product Grid > [Active Style] > Product Details > Stats >...

You may be using a different product grid style on that module, there’s no limit on how many styles you can create in Journal > Styles > Product Grid … with different options and applied on different modules. So make sure you’re editing the active style used in your module.
Also, those stats need to be assigned in the actual module, from the style you just edit their appearance.

That’s not possible unless you changed modules or styles. Moreover we’re not exactly sure the elements you are referring to, maybe some precise screenshots will help.

Well, you are referring to something else. Looks like you have some custom css code that interferes with them. We can’t vouch for what custom code you add to your website, please consult with your developer, look through Journal > System > Settings > Custom Code > CSS make sure some of the custom code you have there doesn’t hide your stats.

Dear, I have a problem with Journal 3, Opencart 2.3. My problem is that in Account-> Address form if region or address field are not filled the system does not mark as error. In OC default theme all work there is no issues.Please help

You still have to work on a ticket N18-RNY-3NLT (Ticket number: 41029) from 2019. You still didn’t resolve the issue. I extended the support back than, but no help was given. I would appreciate if you could find the time to finish the job. I will not pay for another support, because I did that last year, an ticket is not resolved. Please contact me as soon as possible.

Hi, we’re not sure what you’re referring to, that ticket refers mostly to Journal 2, what issue should have been solved by us? If you have problems installing an extension through extension installer then what has this to do with Journal?

The ticket refers to installing journal 3. It was never installed by your team as we agreed. The other thing that I have is this error that I got, and the OC team said it refers to Journal and that Journal is causing the error. And that I need to contact Journal developer.
One of the developer just fixed installer issue. So nevermind regarding this error.
Nobody claimed to install Journal 3 for you in that ticket. We don’t do any migration from Journal 2 or Journal 3. You did ask for this and offered to pay but we can’t help with such services, either free or paid.
To use Journal 3 means you have to install it as a new theme, it’s not compatible with Journal 2 so it’s not an update, it’s a completely different theme.

We have managed to install the journal 3 now, thank you. Could you please be so kind and tell me at least how to change the price. All my prices are set to 0$ (strikethrough price), but underneath is the correct price (price without VAT).. there is no way to change this under product extras (https://docs.journal-theme.com/) what am I missing

i imported 5 demo.. and prices are set to 0.. how to change that I don’t understand what is here not to understand.. all prices are strikethrough but under the 0 is the correct price with VAT
Hi, as we’ve suggested above, have you checked if everything works fine when using the default Opencart theme? A lot of users imported demo 5 and they haven’t encountered such issue, maybe the issue is not related to Journal, please check default Opencart theme first.

I checked everything, and I don’t know how to solve this – this is the example.. under system prices are set without VAT.. at the checkout the price is correct,.. so this is strange.. we made a clean install of 3.0.3.6. and your theme… so the site is clean. all prices are set to 0 – and this is new price under Product List Style but non of the products are discounted.. under system tax is set to non tax.. under tax visibility under product liststyle is set to none.. how to disable new price??

Yes I have checked the default theme, and this 0 price is also visible under default theme. There is no special product available all products have normal price.. no discounts, no specials. Hi, if the issue happens on the default Opencart theme too then it has nothing to do with Journal, therefore not covered by our support. We can take a closer look at this if you file a ticket on our support page, but we cannot guarantee we can offer you a solution to this issue, it might be better to consult with an Opencart developer and make sure everything works fine when using the default Opencart theme first.

I posted the solution up there. And no this label when you turn off what you suggested it doesn&t show under product page.. I am talking about the stock status that is over the picture on each product! How to remove the label from PICTURE?

Hello. Opencart 2.3 J3 Theme. I’ve noticed weird resizes in cache folder. It’s 2000×2000 but i have no such size in Skin – Image dimensions. How can i fix it?
Hi, every image used in Journal is resized in two dimensions, one for normal screens and one for high dpi screens (retina). For example, if you set Product Image Dimensions to 1000×1000, two images will be generated in image/cache folder, one with dimensions 1000×1000 and one with dimensions 2000×2000.

Hi, I am trying to change the placeholder for address 1 & address 2 field in payment & shipping address in quick checkout by creating new item in language file in checkout.php & also updating .twig file for payment address & shipping address under checkout & write new item code in placeholder as “entry_address_1_1” & “entry_address_2_2”.
After doing / altering files, i cant see any results on quick checkoout page as placeholder for address 1 & address 2 still showing old values as Address1 & address 2, i cleared the modification also & cleared the theme & Sass Cache from admin dashboard.
Kindly revert with a solution.

Hi, make sure you have edited the proper files and always refresh Opencart modifications and clear Opencart template cache whenever making changes to files in order to see the changes.

In Journal > Skins > Edit > Image Dimensions the maximum image size sets is 800×800. However, when I’m going on a product page it generates images with size 1100×1000 and 1000×1000. Can you explain why this is happen?
