WP All Import!

I see I can import listings from Listify into this theme with the WP All Import addon, however, I currently have listings in both English and Spanish for the same restaurant. My question is, will I still be able to import all listings and how will the permalinks get structured upon the new import? Thanks.

Is there a way to (easily) segment the list upon email submission? To allow for two or more separate lists, for example, restaurant customers and restaurant owners?

User Roles!

When a new person joins up, does the theme offer an options to select between a restaurant customer and a restaurant owner?

You won’t be asked if you are a visitor or a listing owner. If you simply just signed up and used the site you are a visitor. When you submit a listing and your listing is approved then you are a listing owner. It’s a simple and seamless system.

I see your theme is compatible with the Loco Translate plugin, I’m interested to know if this translation plugin will be sufficient to translate the whole website? Or would I need to install another translation plugin such as Polylang to complete the task? If so, has Polylang ever been used with your theme? We do not want to give a wrong impression in the demos as many of the other products do by hosting on very expensive servers and implementing optimization hacks. ListingPro is a directory website which means it’s very dynamic and not a blog or static website.

Each user will have to optimize its own site as each site varies greatly based on content, images, number of listings, and server. Opting for an optimization service is an option and there are a lot of services out there. We recently did start offering optimization service out of necessity but that wasn’t our intention to create an unoptimized product and offer a service. https://listingprowp.com/services/

As far as improving the code. Yes, there is always room for improvements and we are always improving the code and finding ways to improve the overall speed.

Thanks for getting back to me on this, okay I understand. Can you tell me, with your optimization service, do you just use plugins to speed up the theme, or are you hard editing code too? Also, would any optimization work be lost with any future theme updates? Thanks.

Sorry for the late response. Yes for the optimization service we use plugins and the optimization won’t be lost by updating your theme. But we always recommend to make a full backup before updating.

Currently URLs display search filters, which can be a problem for SEO.

Please, I need some help, possibly I don’t understand how it works. When I publish a Plan, in Package with up to 5 publications. I don’t understand how it works. - The customer selects that plan, completes a post, and pays. OKAY ! - have selected, in my case a plan for 5 publications, and has made 1 post.

When the customer tries to make a new post, it leads him to select a new plan and pay again, when he should be able to make more posts, that is 4 more.

I’ve been with this for days, and I see that your demos work the same way.

Hello! I have pre-sale questions. I want to create a platform for freelancers with your theme and would like to discuss a few points beforehand. The platform should allow freelancers to create a personal profile in which they can create ads for their services. Other users looking for specific services should be able to find freelancers with these ads, buy their services and communicate with the freelancers on the platform.

Does your theme support the following points or would further programming be needed? If custom programming is needed, do you provide it?

1. registration of users

The integrated customer management enables users to create an account by registering and logging in with their address data and a password of choice.

The registration form contains the following fields: Company (opt.), title, first name, surname, street, postal code, city, tel, fax (opt.), e-mail, Remarks (Opt.) and a Captcha field.

After sending out the form, the system sends a roundtrip e-mail with a confirmation link to ensure that the e-mail address entered during registration is correct.

The user then receives another e-mail informing him that the account is now activated, with a link to their personal area.

2. personal area

After the login, providers are led to their personal area, where they can access and or do the following:

1. their access data, 2. their customer data for invoicing, 3. their profile data for your profile page, 4. manage their advertisements or ads as well as 5. be able to view and, if necessary, answer incoming inquiries in their mailbox and 6. be able to view their invoices that were sent by the portal.

2.1 access data

The existing access data (e-mail and password) can be changed via a form. If the e-mail address is changed, a roundtrip e-mail will be send again to opt-in the changes.

2.2 customer data for invoicing

The customer data can be updated via a form with the following fields: Company (opt.), title, first name, last name, street, postal code, city, tel, fax (opt.)

2.3 profile data

Registered suppliers can store information about their dealer profile in a seperate tab in their personal area. The profile data for display on the profile page of the provider is updated via a form with the following fields: Company (opt.), first name, last name, street, postal code, city, phone, fax (opt.), e-mail, website URL, company descriptions (long text field), products & services (long text field).

2.4 create, manage and publish advertisements

Registered suppliers can create new products and services in their personal area in a seperate tab. Create advertisements, edit existing advertisements and publish advertisements. For this purpose a Editor with creation form, list editor and detail editor provided.

New advertisements can be created by clicking on a button “Create new advertisement”. A corresponding form can be added.

The following fields are offered for creating a new ad:

Ad title, Main image, Up to 10 additional images, Description text, Price field In the list view and the detail view, a status field is also displayed, which informs the user if the entry has been published. If an entry is not published, a “Publish button” is offered, which can be used to publish the entry, if there are still free entry publications. The number of possible publications is displayed to the provider above the list editor is displayed.

2.5 mailbox

On a separate tab in the personal area the received requests are displayed in a list. By clicking on a list entry they get a detailed view where previous messages are displayed and replies to ongoing messages can be send.

2.6 bills

The system automatically generates invoices in PDF format, which can be viewed in the personal area of the provider. They can be retrieved as a list entry with a link to the PDF invoice.

3. subscriptions

3.1 subscription models

Via the integrated subscription system, the desired models with one or more terms (e.g.: “1 month, 89,- Euro”, “3 months, 69,- Euro” and “12 months, 39,- Euro”) can be created and managed. For the individual terms, separate description texts, prices and notice periods as well as the number of advertisements published simultaneously can be created. Furthermore, a free trial period can be defined optionally.

3.1.1 basic Package

The free basic package is technically not a subscription model and will not be offered where the subscription models are configured. A maximum of one advertisement can be published in the basic package. The profile of the provider cannot be rated. All relevant data can be stored for the ad, but only selected data will be displayed to the searcher after consultation with the operator (e.g. only the main picture, but not the other pictures).

Searchers can make a request for the ad, but the provider does not see any contact data and has no possibility to answer the request. The entries of the “bulletin board” can be viewed but not answered.

The rating function should be possible, so that in case of a later possible upgrade you don’t have to enter your data again and keep your ratings.

3.1.2 professional Package

In the professional package a maximum of 3 ads can be published. The profile of the provider can be evaluated in principle. For the display all relevant data can be stored and these are also displayed. The provider can see the contact data of requests that were created through his ad and can respond to them. The entries of the “bulletin board” can be viewed but not answered.

3.1.3 premium Package

In the Premium Package a maximum of 8 ads can be published. The profile of the Provider can be evaluated in principle. For the display all relevant data are stored and these are also displayed. The displays are shown in the List view is displayed at the front positions.

The provider sees the contact details of requests created through his ad and can respond to them. The entries of the “bulletin board” can be viewed and answered. The provider receives notifications when new entries are created on the bulletin board and when he is within the radius of the request. He can deactivate this function in his personal area.

3.2 payment methods

For payment, first the interfaces for the online payment gateways Paypal and Saferpay. In order to use them, the operator must conclude separate contracts with the respective providers. Further interfaces can be integrated optionally after arrangement.

3.3 purchase

The different subscription models are listed on a separate page next to each other so that the individual advantages of the subscription packages can be compared quickly. Via a separate button for each subscription package can be registered and purchased.

In case of a purchase, the system will send the buyer a corresponding order confirmation by e-mail. The cancellation for a subscription package can be done in the web interface via a “Cancel”-button can be triggered. The system then sends a confirmation e-mail to the provider and the operator.

In case of a purchase the operator receives an e-mail with the order data. Furthermore the operator in his back-office area of the portal, all orders are processed via a View list editor. Orders can be searched by the operator via a search function for order date (from-to), company name and last name are searched for.

The system automatically generates corresponding invoices in PDF format, which are displayed in personal area of the provider can be called up. As soon as a new invoice is created, the system sends the customer a corresponding notification e-mail with links for convenient payment with the possible payment providers

4. notice board

Searchers can use a form to submit requests for the bulletin board with title, Create description text, optional perimeter and contact information. If new entries are created, all providers with Premium Package will receive the function to receive Notifications from the bulletin board have not disabled a notification e-mail.

If the bulletin board has a radius specified in the bulletin board entry only the providers that are within the specified radius receive a notification.

The entries are displayed as a list on a separate “bulletin board” page. At Click on the request to get a detailed view with all information about the entry. Contact details are only shown to providers with an active Premium Package.

Special feature of the “bulletin board”, example “roof extension”. Here a problem is described: “I want to extend a roof”. The searcher chooses the category “roof extension”. Afterwards possible subitems are displayed, which might be possible: Dry construction, electrical, sanitary, carpenter, roofer, plumber, etc. – these trades should receive the inquiries and actively contact the searcher.

The “notice board” is to fulfill two functions:

A the function to help the seekers who do not know what they need

and

B the function to offer the possibility to the searchers, who know what they want, but cannot decide for the “one” provider, to come into contact with the freelancers to discuss terms before buying.

Furthermore, there should be a selection option: “When did you plan your project” e.g. immediately, in the next 3 weeks, in 1-3 months

5. ratings

Providers can be used by searchers with a star system of 1-5 stars and a free text comments can be rated. In the view of the provider profile existing ratings are listed. To rate, e-mail (not shown externally), name, rating and comment must be entered.

After submitting the rating, the merchant will be informed by e-mail.

Can you let me know what measures have been taken to prevent this theme from being hacked? I’ve had to delete my website and staging site as a report showed it was infected over 2000 times with malware. I’ve seen reports that this was happening with this theme. I hadn’t updated the theme since v2.5.6. Does the most current version plug these security holes?

I was able to get my site back online and the theme updated. I’m getting an alert to update the ListingPro Plugin, ListingPro Reviews and ListingPro Ads plugins. In my plugins these do not show there is an update. Where do I find the updated plugins?

I have a technical question now since I have already purchased the theme.

I want to create accounts for let’s say employees to add listings as I’m not making the add listing option available to everyone. I want only certain people to be able to add listings.

The problem is I don’t want those people to access WordPress dashboard at all, each one can only access their own listings – it’s basically like account managers where each account manager can add listings and also manage their own listings and I as an admin can give access to certain features according to the needs but this is not WordPress dashboard.

What’s the best way to do this?
