It can’t be excluded but you can have a new category then assign all cat as its child except the category that you need to exclude. Then assign that new category to page item…

Well, This might depend on the different of rendering in each browser :/ I don’t think we can handle it(about firefox with round borer, can you please try to update your browser? I try with various machine of mine, there’s no problem :/ )

To fix your problem about these different, you may need use the text as images so it will acts the same among various browser.

What controlles the style-custom.css? When I delete the code for the box shadow around the slider/wrapper it´s gone a few minutes and then it appears again. I have even deleted the codes from the style-custom.css but something seems to be “correcting” it and the codes re-appear.

Can you please help me out?

Because style-custom.css will be generated every time your admin panel saved. you just need to override css in style.css directly using !important;

for example

border-color: #000 !important;

In the demo is the same as main background(transparent) but you can also set the bg color for slider in theme backend too

For bg behind title, it’s transparent but you can also upload background image.

1. try to set the permission on the file ‘phoenix/style-custom.css’ to ‘755’ or ‘777’...try both.

2. if still no luck. please try do disable all plugin and see if it’s solved or not.

3. You may try on other browsers. I recommend Google Chrome or FireFox.
